Polished Dental is so great and for so many reasons!For starters, it was very easy to schedule an appointment. I did so over email and even got a cost breakdown of how much my visit would be after insurance. The staff is very friendly and they are also very prompt which most people can appreciate.During my cleaning they pointed out everything they found and showed me the x-rays and explained what was what and why it was they way it was. It was nice to have this insight and background info shared with you as a patient. They were also extremely positive about getting my dental health back on track in a non-judgmental way.This is also the first time I have ever been to a dentist and felt absolutely 0% pain. I unfortunately had to get a root canal and really wasnt sure what to expect, but am happy to say that I was not uncomfortable or in pain at all the whole time! I have had cavities filled at other places that hurt more than this root canal. Dr. Kelley was so nice and friendly but professional at the same time. I really recommend this place, such a positive experience so far!

I’m new to Pittsburgh since 2018. Before then I’ve been going to the same dentist since I was 9 years old so I am very picky with who to trust with my teeth. Thankfully, I came across Polished Dental on ig and I did not regret coming to them. My first general cleaning with a new dentist was pleasant and well done. Consultation with my impacted wisdom were also done professionally, with complete honesty about how she needed advice and to consult with her peers because of my unique situation. She could have just easily told me to have it taken out but as any good dentist, she wants to save it as long as it doesn’t bother me yet. My friends who have had bad experiences with other clinics I have greatly recommended them to try our Polished Dental! Thank you! Can’t wait to see them again for my next cleaning.

I have been a patient for 5+ years and couldn’t be happier with the level of care and personal level of communication. The staff have always been open and honest, and my experience going through the Invisalign process with them was very comfortable. They have had their work cut out for them; I dont have great teeth, and as Ive aged, problems have developed. Dr. Troupe has been instrumental to improving and maintaining my dental health.Not only that, but everyone (particular shout outs to Ashley, Amber, Corina, Kelly) is compassionate, kind, and concerned for a patients physical and mental comfort. Dr. Troupe has even followed up with me after procedures to make sure Im doing OK and not having any issues. Cant say enough good things about this practice, and the people.

I am absolutely horrified of the dentist. When I heard I had to have a root canal, I literally didn’t sleep the day before because I was so nervous. Dr. Kelley was awesome at going over everything that was going to be done and putting my mind at ease. To be completely honest, I felt zero pain whatsoever. Even the injections didn’t hurt and believe me, I am a big baby when it comes to needles. Everyone in the office is so friendly. 10/10 recommend Dr.Kelley!

Dr. Troupe and his team came highly recommended when I was inquiring about a dentist in the Pittsburgh area. I can now understand why, the care was nothing short of exceptional!I needed URGENT dental work, but with not having a regular dentist in the area, I had to rely on a referral. Dr. Troupe was highly recommended by multiple people in the dental field. I called for an appointment, and within 24 hours was sitting in his office getting the care I needed. While I was there, he found out that I hadnt had a cleaning in over a year. Instead of scheduling me to come back at a later date he managed to get me a cleaning that SAME day, saving me another trip. He and his staff took the time to genuinely get to know me and any issues I had. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. The office is also conveniently located in the heart of downtown. One of the most unique things about Dr. Troupe was that he followed up with an email detailing the work that was done and anything I should focus on. Extremely convenient having a dentist that is just an email away!I would highly recommend Dr. Troupe to anyone!

Ive been a patient with Polished Dental for over a year now and it is the best dental experience one can ask for. I often dont have time to visit the dentist unless its in the middle of the work day, and the reason I love Polished Dental and the work Dr. Troupe and staff do is they are the perfect mixture of pure quality and consideration for your time. They have utmost respect for your time, but not at the expense of the dental work. Anyone with dental anxiety should consider this practice, as it is a remarkably relaxing and friendly environment (with great tunes!), and you get the vibe all of the equipment and techniques being performed are completely up to date and state of the art.I honestly cannot recommend Polished Dental enough. If you are seeking a dental experience that allows you to leave with a great mood and a completely (stunningly, really) clean feeling mouth, this is where you should be going.

Ive had my teeth cleaned and gotten a filling from Polished Dental. On both occasions they were fantastic to deal with.In particular, the filling was as great an experience as it could have been. It was completely (I mean completely) painless and I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Its now been 5 hours since the filling: the numbness has worn off, Im still pain-free, and the filling already feels like its been part of my mouth forever.I would recommend this office to anyone.

The staff and the doctor are very professional, patient, and caring. Theyre not pushy and they genuinely want to see their patients get the best treatment. The doctor will explain whats going on regarding your specific situation and give you several different treatment options.

Was (Am) terrified of the dentist: I dont like the smells, the sounds of the instruments on my teeth...pretty much none of it. After a vacation from the dentists office and switching cities, I searched online and read reviews of this practice. Im happy I chose here as my reintroduction to the dentist. The staff was pleasant and this is hands down, my best cleaning experience to date. Kathleen was a darling, explained each step of the process as she did them and she did a GREAT job. Dr Joey was also as cool as ever. Thanks to all involved and Ill see you in 6 months! :-)

The cleaning was very thorough but not at all uncomfortable. In fact, the dentist couldnt believe it had been so many years since my last visit after the cleaning was done. Dr. Troupe spent a great deal of care explaining everything in my X-Rays and is an enjoyable person to talk to as well. By far my best dental experience so far!

I had been looking for a great dentist in Pittsburgh for many years, and finally found one! I have been going to Dr. Troupe for a few years now, and love this place. The receptionist, Kelly, is super friendly, and always is accommodating with the scheduling. Kathleen, my hygienist does a fantastic job at cleaning my teeth and addressing any questions I have. Dr. Troupe is awesome! He always makes a point to explain to me in detail and point out on the x-rays any issues with my teeth. One thing that initially attracted me to this place, was that you dont have to make two separate appointments to get your teeth cleaned when starting off as a new patient. When initially looking for a dentist, I just wanted to go in and get my teeth cleaned and leave. With so many practices I encountered before, they make you come in for an initial appointment for x-rays, and then come in a second time for the cleaning. Between school, and work, I didnt have a lot of extra free time to go through that whole process. With Dr. Troupe, the first visit I was able to get a cleaning and x-rays done with out scheduling two separate days to do this.

He is always concerned about anything that is bothering me. He loves his 3 dogs and takes them everywhere with him: one is even adopted from Mexico. He is also a wiz at Botox...he can really do anything that he puts his mind to. He is kind, gentle, and brilliant.

My experiences have been superb!!!! I was overly nervous about the dentist but Dr. Kelley and Dr. Troupe made me feel so at ease. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now. I love it there!!!!!

I didnt think that you could actually have dentists that are con artists. This is definitely such an example. They have some kind of a waiver that allows them to charge really high rates that insurance doesnt cover. Then they use a sexy camera to intimidate you into getting all kinds of procedures done. They do a disastrous job and then make you pay thousands of dollars out of pocket. Its a shame they can legally get away with this.

If you need any dental work done I recommend Polished Dental. Ive never met people more passionate about what they do than I did here. First of all everyone is very friendly, they explain everything from risks to procedures and beyond.I went in to get two wisdom teeth removed and I cant say how easy and painless it was. No excessive pushing, pulling or anything and both Dr. Troupe and the assistants would make sure you were doing ok. Afterwards Dr. Troupe would go into detail on everything to do and avoid for the next few days. To top that all off the office and Dr. Troupe are always available to answer anything you need.Overall I would give Polished Dental and its staff a 10/10.

The things that set Polished Dental apart from other dentistries are the friendly, professional staff and their modern dentistry methods. Upon entering PD, the receptionist Kelly greets you by name with a smile. The waiting time is normally minimal, and they always have good music playing over the PA (XM). Ashley and Kathleen the dental hygienists are congenial and gentle while cleaning your teeth (Ive had some bad experiences). Dr. Troupe is funny and very intelligent, but not in the condescending doctor kind of way.The first time in, and in subsequent yearly fashion, they took digital photos of every tooth in my mouth. Dr. Troupe then came in and brought up the pictures on a computer monitor beside the exam chair and went over my tooth photos (He does this every visit, just not always with the photos). He showed me where my enamel was thinning, as well as a dark spot he suspected (correctly) was a cavity. He asked me if I had any concerns, and I told him that 2 back molars were becoming very sensitive to cold. He painted a sealant on them fixing that problem. After my check-up I scheduled an appointment to have the cavity filled. They had an opening in 2 weeks, and called me the day before to verify. They are also awesome about emailing/calling you (your preference) to remind you to schedule your 6 month and yearly check-ups.One time I was eating pasta, and inadvertently bit down on the tip of a metal fork tine. I have a ceramic partial between my front teeth, and it split down the middle and fell out. Looking like a hillbilly, I called Dr. Troupe in a panic (after hours). He was told me he could fix me up the next morning. My teeth were fixed by 9am the next day, and they looked better than they did originally!I have been going to Dr. Troupe for more than 2 years, and have never had a bad experience. He is accessible and accommodating. The only downfall is finding parking downtown during lunchtime hours, but its worth the hassle!
