I always go here to get my nails done whenever I do get them done. The owners are super nice neva had a problem.

I must say I’m so disappointed in how poor the quality of my nails are. The wife did my nails and the shape is awful, the paint job... even worse.My gel polished peeled after 3 days. And therudeness of these people...” I mean my gosh!” the “ do over” for my nails was a tragic mess. Needless to say I want be a returning customer.

Nail Club was a very bad experience they did not do the nails right left acrylic on fingers and did not do enough coats of Polish bad experience do not go there at all for your nails

They did a really good on a full set of acrylics for me. Pricing is very fair, facility is quite clean, and staff are quite friendly. I paid 40 for a full set with multiple colors and some bling too.

I came as a walk in from out of town and they were able to take me immediately. Very reasonable prices for the excellent service that I received! My nails look the best that they have in a long time and are shaped EXACTLY how I requested!

Very courteous and kind. The staff there had conversations with all of the customers and not with each other. They said it was a 15 min wait and my services started within 10 mins. Simply marvelous results!

My dad and I came here and my nails were finished beautifully and all the employees were very pleasant. My dad said Ricky gave him the best pedicure he’s had in 50 years!

I, like other past customers, am sorry to have to write this review... Ive been going to this nail shop for at least 4 years.. over the course of time I have been disrespected and tried other nail saloons across town.. for the past month, I came back after not coming since last summer and found that nothing had changed. I was a regular customer so they just decided I wasnt as important as any one new who came through the door. Ive had to wait hours to get my nails done because they would take everyone else first or make me wait in between my pedicure and fill as they waited on other, more important customers. The last straw was last week when in his haste to get to other customers that came in after me, he didnt complete all aspects of my pedicure. When I told him., he told me I was not paying attention and that he did everything. We went back and forth and he insisted he did everything as he drained the water and continued on.. trying to make me look like a fool in front of the other customers.It was when he went to paint my toe nails that he realized he did not cut around my cuticles. he begins to cut them so I said to him, Can I get an apology from you now that you realize you were wrong?, he refused... I will no longer patronize this business.. If you read through the comments youll see a lot of new customers have given them a great rating.. unless you are special that same level of service will not continue...

I love going here to get my nails done and the owners are the nicest. Sometimes there is a long wait because its only the 2 of them working they definitely need an extra person but it doesnt change me going.

Like many nail salons, they do a great job and bend over backwards with good customer service. However, if you schedule an appointment, dont be surprised when you get there and see them working on someone else and you are told it will be a 30 min. wait. I had been going there for months, and I made an appt. and specifically asked if they were sure the technician would be on time as I was coming in on my lunch break. I was assured it would be okay. Needless to say I walked out and never went back.

Came for a fill and gel nails and they did an amazing job. I had to wait but it was worth it, much better than the place that did the initial acrylics.

I’ve been going to this salon since September of 2017. Every other month I would get a soak off and a new set of acrylic nails. My last set I got I noticed something a little different with my nails. But i was told because I keep getting acrylics that’s going to happen. Okay. So within a month 10 out of 10 of my nails had detached from the nailbed. The new salon I went to told me this happens over a long period of time. So why didn’t the other Star nails tell me about it ? Because they wanted my money and for me to keep coming back ?? Bad service. I called and told them about it and they weren’t sure what I was talking about. So I went to the salon. And they made it seem like this was my fault !! I don’t know if it’s the cheap products that they use or what it is. It I’m never going back.

Very Professional and kind staff! I brought my 4 year old daughter with me and they worked on us together to expedite process. They even turned cartoons on for her ! Very nice. Will be my go to place!

Been going here since the place opened. The couple that run the place are nice and know how to joke around a lil. The work they do is great and the prices are fair.

Did a great job on both myself and my daughters nails!My daughter went to another salon and they did a horrible job. Star Nails fixed them pefectly! Loved the different choices of pedicures and the massage chair was awesome!

The employees including the owners Ricky and Nancy ARE talking about you in Vietnamese!It makes me so sad to write this review but I feel compelled to warn anyone else who could potentially be going to this salon. I went to this salon for a while and unfortunately I found out the were FAT SHAMING me and other clients while we were in the salon paying for services. Its hard to even write this but I cant in good conscience allow anyone else to walk into the salon and potentially be put through the same thing we were put through. Myself and several friends have been utilizing the salon for a few months sometimes we would come in together and sometimes alone. I always thought that Ricky was very nice and jovial. I have to admit that I did not use Nancy in the salon because I thought that she didnt do a good job with nails. I always felt rushed whenever she painted my nails. I always felt that Ricky was entertaining and kind. So I would call ahead and make an appointment with him.At my last visit to the salon my friend who happens to be 100% Vietnamese joined me she came Into the salon about 30 minutes after I did because she also had an appointment with Ricky. And we figured it would be easy for Ricky to complete my pedicure within 30 minutes after at my 10 a.m. appointment and then start her services.So I want to be clear in saying that my friend who again is 100% Vietnamese American born to two Vietnamese immigrants. She is typically portrayed or viewed rather as mixed Asian or possibly even Polynesian. And a lot of times when we go to nail salons they ask her if she is Vietnamese. However at Star Nails they never ask. We can only assume that they assumed she did not speak Vietnamese. After she and I left the salon she told me when we were back at my house, that she had to tell me something because it was weighing heavily on her mind. She told me that Ricky, Nancy and the new employee whose name I do not know were talking about us in Vietnamese. She told me that when she walked in they said the other fat girl is here. Ricky then went on to refer to our legs as being larger than his body. And they referred to our calfs as being ham hocks in water.I thought about going back in and confronting them. I have sat with us for several weeks because I didnt know how to handle it and it was very upsetting to me as Im sure some of you could imagine. I have decided that this is my best way to reconcile my feelings about the situation.Oh and just put this out there if you are not a person of size they are still talking about you, they also were talking about another woman in the salon who apparently had calluses on her feet and they were joking that they would need to go down to Lowes in the waterfront to pick up a drill to remove the skin on her feet. So no one is safe they are talking about you behind your back in another language. I feel that this behavior is vile. I have spent my entire life in customer service, I grew up with my father owning a dry cleaning store and my wifes family. Owns a restaurant. We would never treat our customers this way, this is not even the way to treat someone behind closed doors after theyre gone. But to think about these people are actually shaming us because of the way that we look while we were in the salon and paying for their services is very sad. I also find this sad because I have referred so many people to the salon because I thought they were so nice unfortunately they were sheeps in wolves clothing. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS SALON unless you dont care about people talking about you because they will find something to say about you no matter what you look like.

I stopped in for a pedicure. They took me right away. The people working there were awesome.

They were rude from the time I walked in the door. Asking me what am I going to do with those kids, talking about my kids. Got to the table & sat down & sat my child next to me in a different chair & the guy said to him, “sit sit, good baby good baby.” Like he was a damn dog. Then they sat there talking about me & my kids for about a good 5 minutes. The guy origanially doing my nails stopped & had the lady come over & finish them because I told him to stop talking to my child like he was some kind of animal. They switched sits & she started rushing on my nails, cutting deep into my cuticles to the point that I had to pull my hand away. At the end she put the top coat on & let it dry & once everything was done & dried she rushed me out the chair by saying, “all done, you can go now, go go go, time for y’all to go.” & to mention they charged me $20 for a nail polish after one of the owners said $15 they uped it to $20 after I said well which price is it. I got a full set that’s $25 there, with their polish $20 there, plus a very smal design $10 there. I have never in all the nail salons I have ever went was charged that much at all... I was beyond pissed & everything about it was disrespectful & I only went to them because their at a 4.5 & everyone I looked at before them were either at 3.5 or had no reviews at all. I will never come back to this place even if I was paid to.

Update #2: made an appt requesting certain technician. I was told ok. Came in and they said they cant do that. I have never seen a nail salon that doesnt allow you to make requests. Its upsetting. There were 2 other patrons inside and 1 was for eyebrows. No reason why they couldnt accomdate my request especially since I called and made an appt with the technician. I will go elsewhereUpdate: still absolutely my fav. This is my go toowners are beyond nice and give positive feedback. I had gel nails on for months and just kept getting fills. Finally decided to take them off and re-do my real nails. He gave excellent advice on length and polish for natural nail since it was brittle and needed to breathe. Highly recommend.
