The nail tech Shaniece was amazing! Very knowledgeable and with her precision and attention to detail, I got everything I wanted and more out of my service. I went in for a full set with colored acrylic and allowed her to freestyle what she wanted when it came to designs. I left with gorgeous nails, with amazing shape that stayed on for literally a month without lifting or breaking. Definitely recommend!

I have been searching for a black owned salon that is both professional AND gives good service. I was satisfied at this salon. Neicey is a nice young lady that was pleasant to talk to & definitely gave me a quality mani/pedi. I will certainly go back, & take my sister with me. The only downside was not being able to pay with a card. I hope that changes, if not, I will gladly go with cash in hand.

Went for a hair service and it turned out very nice! Got home moved around and it started coming a loose. I called and she told me to send a pic and i could come back in for her to fit me in to fix it but I couldnt come back in. I told her i couldnt come in that day since the style had to be done over and i didnt have time. She never looked at the pictures I sent her and totally ignored me and never gave me another option. I ended up having to take the style out, couldnt get it redone and wasted money. She also had an attitude because she couldnt understand what happened to my hair but if she would of looked at the pictures she would of clearly seen what was wrong. I asked for at least half of my money back since the style didnt last even an hour and she ignored my message. I will not be returning!

My experience was amazing! Upon entry, the shop is very clean and stylish plus the music was a WHOLE vibe. This was my second time and each time I left beyond pleased with my service.

Desi and her staff are amazing!!! I had major hair loss due to stress and surgery, my hair was very thin, brittle and uneven. Desi has growing hands and totally brought my hair back to life, now it is healthy and has a good length! I get trims and traditional sew ins as a protective style and my hair is slayed every time!

So disappointed. And in PAIN. See my middle finger? Thats my BLOOD. And four of my other fingers are bloody too, because Desiree pushed my cuticles back too far and hard. While the design is cute, the polish is ridiculously messy! There is gel paint all over and my thumb looks odd because the paint isnt even on my nail correctly. Would NOT recommend.

The girl took 5 hours to do a frontal closure installed and my closure is lifted up after less than a week with the amount paid $500+ . I am so ready to take this hair out right now I’m very disappointed

I had a great experience at this salon. Everyone was friendly and energetic and the whole salon had a great vibe. I have anxiety and a tender scalp but my braider was so good with me. I had extensions with a lace closure with Desi and I’m not disappointed at all. My hair looks bomb and I’ve gotten so many compliments . Will definitely go back, forever .

I scheduled an appointment for a full set, and I came in about 15-20 minutes early. About 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time I was told the nail tech I scheduled with would come in about 15 minutes minutes. Another 40 minutes later she had not arrived, and I had been waiting over an hour past my scheduled time for the appointment. The other nail techs were nice and said I could call and get a refund for my $10 deposit or reschedule. I left two voicemails and haven’t been contacted yet. I know someone who comes here regularly and her nails are absolutely stunning and I was so excited to have mine done. If I would be able to contact them to reschedule I would love that, however I have not yet been contacted and it has been a while. Their work seems to be great though, I’m just disappointed at the situation.

I love this place! My nails are always FLAWLESS! And my hair is always on point! Angelic gets me in for my nails and pedicures. And go See Desi for your custom wigs sew ins etc... they do everything here. The bundles and hair they sell is great quality and lasts!

Ive never gone to a salon that was so diverse in what the had to offer. Nope. Never again. I booked an appointment here to get my hair braided (short, medium sized, box braids). Soon after entering the salon and checking in at my scheduled time, I was told the stylist needed 20 minutes. She still had half a head left to braid on the client she was working on. Fast forward an hour later for someone to wash and dry my hair. Upon completion, another 30 minutes pass for the stylist to begin on my hair. While the finishing style was great (she really did a great job which is why I gave two stars), it was very unprofessional. She stopped SEVERAL times to start another client (who had the unfotunate luck of waiting just an hour plus just like I did) and kept stopping on my hair to use her phone several times. Again, the finishing style was great so if you have aaaaaall day and time to waste, definitely check out this salon for braids.

Tried to make an appointment, called and left a message and my call wasnt returned. I went in to try to get my nails done the same day and they were busy so she took my name and phone number and said she would call me to set an appointment but they never called.

I’m usually not one to write reviews but I feel like this needed to be said. I scheduled myself for a hair appointment and arrived on time. When I walked into the salon the employees were having a conversation, as soon as I came in they all just looked at me and continued to have their conversation. No one was at the front desk to check me in. The girls working there didn’t so much as ask if I had an appointment, how I was doing or anything. I sat down and waited thinking my stylist would come over to take me to her station. I sat there for probably about 10 minutes and still no one said anything to me so I decided to walk out. I work in the beauty industry and to see bad customer service in an establishment is disappointing. I will never come to this salon again. Very unprofessional and I friendly!

So this will be a lengthy review. On 11/15/18, I had booked an appointment through a stylist named Talayjah I believe for 8am for 12/1/18. I live an hour away so I had to get up pretty early to be there at that time. So I arrive at the shop and on the door it says the shop doesn’t open until 10am. I proceed to text the number given in the e-mail confirmation and DM her on her Instagram and I didn’t receive a response until almost 10am. She stated she texted me the day before telling me the shop doesn’t open until 10am. I booked this appointment a couple WEEKS ago and at no point you didn’t think to tell me earlier?At 10am someone comes to open the shop and I tell her about my appointment and time it originally was and she contacts the stylist and tells me she’s on her way. At 10:30, I get a text saying she’s 15 minutes away but before you know it it’s 11am and still no stylist. At this point, I want to book with someone else because if I don’t I would be all day looking for a same day appointment in any shop and with the hour I drive to Pittsburgh I couldn’t take that chance. I also gave her a $15 deposit and that wasn’t used towards my new appointment because it was cash apped to the stylist. I book with another stylist named Sierra at 1pm and I changed my style to a sleek ponytail on my natural hair with wand curls in the back. I ended up being charged $60 for that which is the same price for if I had weave added to my hair for a regular sleek ponytail. I thought getting my natural hair done would’ve been a lower price, but unfortunately not. She did a good job but the products used created a white film on my hair and didn’t mesh so I had to wash it out a couple days later.Now, this review is not to slight the ladies in the shop but it seemed like the original stylist I booked with was just able to do her own thing and this wasn’t the first time this happened from the reactions by some of the ladies in the shop. The only thing they could give me was a Sorry and I spent $75 in total including the deposit for the other stylist for something I unfortunately couldn’t keep in for a week. She never apologized at all and had the attitude as if I had nothing but time to wait on her. I was at the shop from 8am-3:30pm. I’m hoping the scheduling and stylist business etiquette will improve as she is a representation of the shop.As far as I could tell the other ladies were professional, courteous, and respectful but the two stars is for my experience as a whole with the stylist and pricing of the new style I got.

I am a new client, and just off my first visit, I am blown away!My first impression walking in, the décor is on point; feminine, but not girly in a fluffy sense. The vibe is fresh and fashion-forward. There’s also music setting the mood for customers to get into slay mode!I was lucky enough to have the owner, Desi, work on my nails (although all their techs are badass...just follow their Instagram @lacedbeautybarpgh). You can tell she has a passion for what she does, has a good rapport with her staff, and pays great attention to detail. She also seems to have an eye on what products and trends are at the forefront of nails and other beauty services. Desi walked me through the technique to achieve the look I wanted (it was my first time getting a full set in YEARS lol).I loved the results, and I will be back!
