Easy walkable location with decent enough prices compared to the other local mats. It at least has a quiet place to sit compared to others too. But it ALWAYS smells like rotten eggs, doesnt have hot water in the machines that I have been able to tell, the bathroom is often locked, and the vending machine is never restocked nor does it work.
I wash my whites with hot water.. but there was no hot water coming from these washers. Which is ridiculous. I sat here waiting.. couldnt use the bathroom because it was locked.. couldnt grab a snack, the machines were empty. Then when done, there is nowhere to fold your laundry. Wont be back.
I simply cannot understand the positive reviews, especially as they are somewhat recent. When this place first opened, it WAS clean, well stocked, and well maintained. As time has gone by however, the place has gone terribly downhill. More often than not, the place is filthy; dirty floors, sticky machines, and the soap containers on the larger machines are just gross. The vending machines are not stocked and in the snack machines, what is available is clearly old/stale, and that’s providing they are working at all. While I’ve never had issue with the washing machines, many of the dryers have doors that won’t stay closed, and it is very apparent that the lint traps are never or rarely cleaned. My biggest complaint however is that the owner has apparently disconnected all of the machines from the hot water tank. In a public laundromat especially, I always feel it necessary to do my wash in hot water. Despite pressing the hot water option, you can lift the lid and reach into a just filled machine and find ice cold water....not lukewarm, not slightly cool, but ICE COLD. With the larger front loading machines that cannot be opened mid-load, the laundry will still be brutally cold upon completion. A hot wash/cold rinse should still leave the load at least a little warm to the touch. The restroom is nearly always locked, but on the rare occasion it hasn’t been and I’ve tried to wash my hands....again, not a drop of hot or even warm water. Without a car, I’ve had little choice but to return, doing half size loads in cold water. Tonight however I decided it was worth the extra $15 to LYFT down to the Banksville Laundromat. The extra expense was offset by an ability to do my laundry in larger loads, and actually having it all come out cleaner faster and lint free, not to mention the value of my peace of mind, knowing the water is hot enough to kill whatever fleas or bedbugs might have been left behind by whomever used the machine before me.
Just moved to the area and I was shocked to find such a nice laundromat within walking distance from my house. This laundromat has it all... ATM right out front, change machine, (I broke a 20 btw) stocked vending machines, central air, folding tables, baskets, and a clean restroom! Only thing that would make this laundromat better would be free wifi and being open 24 hours. Dont get me wrong, but the hours they currently have are more than enough time to do your laundry whenever. Open everyday between the hours of 6AM-12AM
The equipment was top-notch, the building was clean and tidy and I love the location!
Worst laundromat, ever! Lost $5 in a machine that didnt work, called the number found on the wall, no answer, no call back. No public restroom, no TV, no wash tubs?! Like what? The multi-load machines are small compared to other laundromats. Everything about this place is awful. ATM is broken too!
Very clean
