Walked in a few minutes ago to get memberships. No one was wearing a mask. Not even the person at the front desk who was eating yogurt/ice cream at the front desk and audibly smacking their lips. I was really excited to get a membership :/

Big improvements equipment freshly painted.Benches new upholstery, always been a convenient cozy gym setting unlike most larger gyms where finding equipment is like waiting in line at Kennywood. Members are friendly. And there is still a mature hotty at the Front desk after 6pm For great Eyecandy convenience for all !

Great place. All the machines work properly and they have everything you could possibly need. Think a pumping iron type of gym and everyone is friendly. But if youre looking for a gym with posh locker rooms, towel service, etc. youll be better off looking elsewhere. Im not knocking either, just depends what you are looking for.

Love their Zumba classes. They are such a great work out and a lot of fun. This is a nice, small gym. Not over the top fancy. Its just right.

If you want a gym that has everything you need, this is it. Cardio, free weights, tanning...Great low-key environment and easily accessible right off 376. Affordable memberships as well!

I, personally, love this gym. It has a variety of equipment, classes, and a few personal trainers. I spent this past summer training here with personal trainer Shawn. He taught me how to use different equipment and helped me broaden my knowledge with different workouts. He trained me with things like slam ball, battle ropes, and weights. I can now say I walk into a gym confidently because I have gained knowledge on things like proper form and uses of equipment. Though I only get to workout here during my summers off, I enjoy it and would highly recommend.

This gym is bar far one of the best ones I’ve been to! It has a great location away from traffic which is hard to find near the city. Lots of equipment for the amount of people that go. A plus is that with a membership you can go tanning. Bob the owner is wonderful too!

I have been going to platinum fitness center over the span of four months and I absolutely love it. The staff is amazing and are some of the nicest people I have ever met. All the classes they offer are taught by professionals and you can guarantee a great workout at Platinum fitness center. I recommend this gym to everyone, dont miss out on their wonderful opportunities, and for those who love to tan, they have fabulous tanning beds that can be included with your membership. Platinum fitness center is Such a great gym, and I could not be happier with my experience there.

This is my favorite gym in the area. The pricing is very competitive and classes/tanning are included. The staff is friendly and accommodating. That being said this is definitely a gym. What I mean by that is it isnt all bright and shiny brand new equipment, but everything they have in there works and will get the job done. They are replacing some equipment little by little, so they are working on getting newer equipment/dumbbells etc. Its never been overly crowded either. All in all its perfect for those looking for a no frills gym with a very friendly staff.

I am a new member for about a month now and am very impressed with the amount of machines available and the flexible class schedules. I never have to wait for a machine. I do not use the tanning booths but I did get a spray tan and I was super pleased with it for my event. No hassle getting there since its not downtown and parking is pretty much unlimited and FREE.

I have always been intimidated by working out in front of others, but I decided to make a change and find a gym to attend during my lunch breaks at work. Bob, the owner, has been extremely helpful and encouraging; he is even helping me create a workout plan that fits my needs. The facility has all the equipment I could possibly need, and I love that tanning and classes are included. I look forward to working out each day and I highly recommend this gym to others!

Ive belonged to several gyms over the past 10 years, and Platinum Fitness offers one of the best environments that Ive experienced yet. There are plenty of free weights and a wide array of machines; the dumbbells range up to 150 lbs., which is difficult to find anymore, especially in chain gyms. The free tanning is definitely a plus, and the room used for cardio classes can also be used for stretching and ab exercises. All in all, a great facility to train at!

Ive been going to this gym for a while now. Never had an issue, staff is amazing and they get the job done. The gym is big and spacious, and the vibe is always positive. Robert, the owner, makes the experience there that much better; hes professional, encouraging, and knowledgable.. for that, I truly recommend this place.

I go there for the tanning. the only unlimited tanning package that is legitimately unlimited.. not to mention the pricing is super reasonable.

Finally a gym in Pittsburgh with a great free weight area. You never have to wait on the machines even during peak hours. Everyone is there to just work out. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone.

Ive been a member for well over 5 years. This gym has everything I need, Free Weights, Cardio, & Strength Machines. They even offer FREE tanning with your membership, not sure you can find that anywhere else! The owner, Bob, is there everyday and more than happy to set you up with an exercise routine. I think this gym is a bargain for what they charge.

This is My Fitness Center. Been a member for over 5 years.This is a facility with multiple levels of cardio and strength equipment. Everything from free weights, to elliptical, stairmaster, treadmill, pulleys, hammer strength, and Hoist machines.All equipment and facilities are constantly updated.I never have to wait, even when its busy. Extremely friendly staff and members, and thats important to me! This place is ideal for anybody beginning, maintaining, looking for transformation, looking for insight, bodybuilding, or getting fit.No other fitness center can compare with the value you at Platinum.Great classes with great instructors!Everybody here is so nice, members and staff!Very Clean, Free parking, Open Weekends, just truly a great place to exercise and work out!

Excellent gym in Greentree!Its great being able to come here and have an honest workout, set in an environment where people can comfortably focus on their health and fitness.

If free-weights or cardio machines are your thing it might be good for you. i was looking for more strength-training machines and was VERY disappointed with the old and limited selection. the mens locker room is very small and kind of run down, too (only 2 showers and one of those was out of order.) the staff (frank) and bob - the owner are both very nice.

On two separate occasions I joined this gym - strictly because of how close it is to my job. Both times I realized it was a mistake. Two primary reasons: first the place is just dirty. At least it was when I went here. I remember looking at all the rusted broken lockers in the women’s locker room and then noticing that it looked like someone threw a can of soda at the wall and it was never cleaned up. I don’t know if it was soda but ew - gross. The other reason was the staff. I recall several times walking in to the gym going to slide my card through - there’d be an employee standing or sitting right there behind the counter. None of them ever so much as acknowledged me let alone smiled or even said hi.i felt like I was bothering this one girl who was often sitting there and had a perpetual scowl on her face.

Good old fashion gym. No frills, no people coming in to admire themselves. You work out, said hi/bye

This gym is fantastic. The atmosphere is laid back. I have never had to wait for a machine. Friendly staff and the hours are great.

It has good equipment, with bands,plus free weights.

The owner was very nice and its the closest gym to my apartment but I hate how cramped it is. I wish there was a cheaper option to just pay to use the gym with no tanning or classes. The last time I checked, the price seemed a little high (close to LA Fitness pricing) to me but maybe its changed? It makes me sad because I really want to get healthy again. But paying so much for a gym that I cant even get to daily because of work feels like a waste. :-(

They fit a lot of stuff in a somewhat small space without it being too crowded. Even when its busy, there are plenty of machines for everyone. Ive never waited for a cardio machine or a weight, or a shower.

Excellent facility in a great location! People surrounding the gym make it a for a great, yet homey, atmosphere.

Barebones gym rat gym, first workout today and I signed for a year. Theres something exciting about getting done and feeling like you had a great workout but also feeling like you need a tetanus shot from the dirty old equipment and locker room. My only gripe is a 30 dollar yearly maitenance charge which Ive never heard of after being a member of gyms across the country, but I figure its kind of like crowd funding the gym, so itll do.

Great gym!!! For the price you cant beat this deal. You pay for tanning, classes and a gym membership anywhere else you will pay $100/ month or more!!! You get all 3 for around $35/ month

Treadmills are in a very bad shape. Dumbbell rack is old, ill maintained, dirty and poorly designed, sometimes the weights slide off of it. Staff personnel are unkempt. The towel you are supposed to use to use to wipe off sweat from machines has been used a 1000 times over by someone else. No water to drink unless you buy it. And in the last 45 a month for this POS??? I suffered a month.

Platinum Fitness Center has lots of state of the art equipment, tanning included in the standard membership price, a friendly and attentive staff, and very reasonably priced membership packages.

Went to try this gym and the inside was not clean. The dumbbells had lug nuts on the end that stabbed your leg if you wanted to rest them on your thighs.. and all the equipment felt like it was going to fall apart as you were working out on it.

Me and my brother were playing keepy ups (soccer training) in the big gym. Some girl that is the owner there said I kicked a ball in her face. Really funny. Then she and her boyfriend make fun of me and my brother for some reasons and stare over at us. Is thers something wrong with my face? Or is my skin color that offends them? Never coming here again.
