They brought me in for orientation & then I never heard from them again. Very cold process. No way to contact them to follow up. No phone # or email. No wonder they are constantly looking for help. I left my job because they gave me a potential start date & then they never followed up. Very disappointed. I am a great customer & really like the company. Their loss. I am a great employee & would have been an asset.

This is where my nephew works and he really likes it there. I take him here almost every day.

A great place to work part time. This is a 24 hour facility, with plenty of shifts to choose from. Clean, safe, secure, great pay, and friendly management. Plenty of employee parking and public transportation is just walking distance away. Lots of shopping and eateries nearby, as well. This facility handles all Amazon shipments for Western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.

I have worked here for 8 months and it is by far the most enjoyable job Ive ever had!! Great company to work for, wish I could go full time

My amazon packages have been delivered to wrong address few times this month, even after I called them and made them adjust their gps of my address. Still missing packages when they’re marked as delivered. It is not about technology, it is about reliable and accountable customer service which is missing.

How come we were not told that you guys closed and opening other day afternoon. Truck drivers always have plan, now because of issue they will not be able to other scheduled deliveries. When drivers are late u keep calling but in such situation u guys dont care

Ive been a long time Amazon customer and was excited when my home town Pittsburgh got a distribution center, that Id be getting my orders even faster. But strangely Ive had problems with delivery since Pittsburghs been delivering on the final leg that I never had before. First time they were at my front door when supposedly they got the message that I cancelled the order, I didnt cancel, Called Amazon, they have great customer service got my order the next day. And today I got a message that my package couldnt be delivered because there was no access to my front door.There wasnt even a car parked out front! Had to call Amazon again, should get my package tomorrow. I really love Amazons products, but because of the Pittsburgh distribution center I wont be ordering any deliverable items.

I was able to go right to the front desk and get help for a messy situation in which I was receiving packages that werent meant for me. Very helpful and kind staff, they are the best!

The facility appeared to be a decent place to work

When first started as Amazon Flex contractor it was great, but now I cant guarantee the future, when you look at the miles, before delivery and after before home or back to the warehouse. It doesnt add up. You end loosing.

Very confused as to why there are 120 reviews of this facility. It is a sorting warehouse which is not involved in transportation or customer relations or even order processing so any customer who came to this warehouse expecting answers about their packages or customer service is at the wrong location.

I love working at Amazon! Its fast paced with every job having a distinctly important purpose.

Lost my package twice. They hire these clowns to deliver packages that dont know the neighborhood. Then Im stuck with a huge hassle having to call and report it to Amazon reps, who act like Im not telling the truth. The book, which was part of my order and delivered by USPS made it to my house just fine. They are too cheap to use delivery services that know where you are located.

I work here every night and I love it

I did a few runs out of this station and it is pretty good. The staff is generally helpful. Only downside is the loading can get congested.

I pass through there several times a day. They have some of the worse drivers around. They double park, park where there are no parking signs. Ive had one pass me in a turning lane. They leave their car doors wide open. They dont care about the way they drive why would they care about your package.

Terrible customer service. How do you mark a package as delivered by mistake, and then lose the package completely?! Lazy, incompetent people, who shouldnt be getting anywhere near $11.75 an hour. So much for Amazons good reputation.....

Today i watched a Amazon van in mars pull right infront of the maillady and block her mailbox while he sat on his phone and wouldnt move. She had to get out and walk between the van to do her job. Then she drove around him to her next box he then proceeded to pass her and do it again!!. I thought it was rude and unprofessional and i will be contacting corporate.

The dock workers are nice, and i can usually load my car and start delivering quickly

All this building is a sortation center. Boxes come in on truckes are sorted in to routes then sent back out. There is no direct phone number, you have to be transfered from the main hotline number. And there is no inventory here and it is not the pick up center.

While parking lots are generally great for Pokémon spawns, that is not the case here. While in the parking lot there is typically 2 Pokémon on the radar, but nothing there. Once inside the building nothing shows on the radar.

Not the greatest job in the world but lets be honest here from the amount of hours you work a day witch can be as low as 3 and as high as 5 hours a day total with the chance of being able to pick up two extra shifts a week so you can average anywhere from 15 to 30 hours a week no problem with that being said your making what someone on a minimum wage job would make in two weeks in one plus you get paid every week on top of thatstarting off at pit 5 (the building number) your promised a since of false hope in advancing positions for example theyll say something like oh Ive been here for 3 months and Ive been promoted to such and such (well Ive been here for almost two years and im still an associate)managers and people with higher positions some NOT ALL but some go around like they have a stick up there ass so keep note of thatone thing to keep in mind when you begin working your given 30 unpaid time off hours (UPT) witch means if your late anywhere from 10 minutes of the time your required to punch in for that shift to one hour then thats 1 hour unpaid time off thats taken if you skip a day thats 4 whole unpaid hours taken away keep in mind if you go below zero unpaid time off hours your terminated/fired but if you do get terminated or fired for missing work you can be rehired within 3 monthsnow they offer something for people called vto (voluntary time off) witch means you can have the day off but you will not be paid for it and it wont go against your unpaid time off hours (upt)they have a website every employee gets access to that you can log into on your phone or computer and pick up extra shifts or request the day off or see how many hours you worked and even view your paycheck invoices or taxesthe hiring process is simple just go online and sign up take a little assessment test (witch anyone with a brain can pass) then youll be called in for a drug screening NOW FROM WHAT IVE BEEN THROUGH i was called back after my drug test in about a week now as of recently there people i know who havent got a call back after there drug screening until a month laterbottom line do i recommend working here yeah its not a bad job its really easy to get in basically sign up online and and pass a drug screening its that simple they dont do interviews so and they hire just about anyone who applies and the fact that you get paid every week makes this the best part time job for only four to five hours a day

Very friendly folks work here. All is well if you have no issues. Human resource department is atrocious. This business model is profit driven apparently because there seem to be only part time positions so benefits do not have to be offered.
