If you want low pay, no benefits and to be a independent contractor this employer is for you. The independent contractor deal is a scheme to not pay taxes and social security. Independent contractors are not told when, where and how to do work.

Had a package delivered to my house at a certain time during the night and gave instructions NOT to ring the doorbell and wake me. Instead, the driver rang the bell and woke me up in the middle of the night. He told me he was told to get a signature and that was all. And after seeing the look of shock on his face when I explained to him what I told this company, I believe him. Am Exs dispatch could definitely be better. And need I mention some of the vulgar language I heard in the background when I called to schedule the shipment? From now on I wont be using this company as long as they have people who dont act professional and follow instructions as call center workers.As for the package though, it arrived undamaged so at least the company got SOMETHING right.

Simply keep your head up. The truth is that the Trucking Company of the Pittsburgh office is a couple of leased box trucks. The messenger fleet is comprised of independent contractors in privately owned vehicles that must be maintained by the non employee driver. When I called my order into Amex they had to put me on hold for 15 minutes while trying to find a driver. To be honest everything worked out but there were off set concerns through out. So help me, the independent guy that did the the job is no part of the office who apparently passes work out to who ever is around? Putting it all together they will do everything they can to provide full service to anybody but not so much as glamours as presented. overall 3 out of 5 stars good.
