Misrepresentes himself on Craigslist & Facebook as a private seller when he is a dealer. Did not find this out until I did some additional research after the sale. As another reviewer said if Tims lips are moving he is lying.

Acacia Motors handled a very difficult transaction for a BMW X6 located in San Diego. Acacia Motors oversaw all the necessary documentation and transportation for the vehicle to be shipped cross country. The vehicle arrived as promised in the condition as described. Registration and transfer was also provided by Acacia Motors. In addition, my old vehicle was taken in on trade and sold. I would recommend Acacia Motors to friends and family.

Total scam artist. Basically, if Tims lips are moving, hes lying. He presented himself as a private seller on Craigslist- Lie. The car for sale was owned by someone in his family- Lie. It had a fresh inspection sticker on it when purchased. There were about 5 days and 60 or 70 miles on the car since inspected. On the way home from the notary I smelled the exhaust leak. After checking the car out it needed a Catalytic converter pipe, front brakes and had a fuel leak. Buyers beware! Shady stuff going here!

Please stay far away from this business, the SUV I was looking to purchase was from Craigslist, it was represented as a personal vehicle for sale by owner. I was suspicious when I googled the address he gave me and it showed a transmission shop with used cars for sale on the lot. When I got to my bank I messaged him to find out whom to make the cashiers check to, he responded with Acacia. I googled that and found Acacia motors with the same picture and address. When you call the number on the website it forwards to the number he was texting and calling me from. Google also popped up an F rating from the better business bureau. Do not buy a car from this place.

Employees were professional. Prices were reasonable. Will go back!

This is a criminal business!!! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS GUY!!! We bought a 2003 Ford focus for my daughter. He knew this was going to be the1st vehicle for a 16yr old brand new driver and he had paid someone to pass this car for inspection knowing it was unsafe.. He refused to look at the car after we had 3 mechanics confirm that this car was completely unsafe and not fixable. The car gave us problems within the1st month!! We have turned this business in to the BBB, attorney General, and state police. We currently have a lawyer and are going thru a civil suit. STAY AWAY!!!

This guy (Tim Hefner) is only getting one star because I can’t give zero. He is a shady character. DO NOT BUY anything from him. He sold me a car under the false pretense of being a private owner on Craigslist. Within a day of driving away with the car, the rear trailing arm was found snapped apart. I purchased it in August and was told the heat worked...it did not. The rear passenger window broke within a couple of weeks and very soon after I lost all brakes when the brake line broke and the car is now totaled. I’ve owned the car less than 3 months and barely drove it as I was on medical leave from my job. It was supposedly inspected in April ( just 3 months) before I bought it. Tim claims that he knew nothing about any of the issues. He said the car came from Car Sense and they are very reputable. Funny, on the day I bought it, he told me that the car came from a relative! So many lies.. very dishonest man!
