Highly recommend Kendall Towing. Was broke down in Oakland, called 3 other towing services and received 4-7 hours of a wait. Some couldnt tow my AWD Subaru because it needs a flat bed. Paid $125 for a 12mile tow. (Had a quote for $140 with a 2wheel dolly for reference)Driver Dennis was out to the car in literally 15 minutes, just as they told me on the phone.Dennis was awesome. In a situation of stress and vulnerability he was professional, helpful, and got me set up quickly. Awesome experience!On my way into work today I ran over a large rock and popped my front drivers side tire. I continued driving the 1/2 mile to the garage by work and then signed up for AAA.I called AAA, and they dispatched Kendall Towing. Nick himself (owner) showed up in about 15 minutes. I was very impressed. When he realized I had just joined AAA and how expensive for me it would be to have the car taken to Dean Honda from Downtown he suggested I just let Kendall do the work. I accepted and am glad I did.Nick called me once to give me a rough cost estimate, and I agreed. He called me at 3:05 PM to let me know the car was ready. I left work just before 4 PM and walked about a mile from Downtown to Kendall. When I checked out at the office one of the tow operators/mechanics had attached an MV-46 PennDOT form for me to fill out to get a free replacement license plate since my plate was peeling off. I asked for that form specifically at the Honda dealer a few months ago, and they had no idea what I was talking about. That is totally going ABOVE and BEYOND in my eyes!Since Kendall is only a 20-minute walk from work I will now be considering them for future repairs and tows! Great job!

So, I drive out to Pittsburgh several times a year from NY, although I usually use a newer car, and not my 99 Jeep Cherokee with 237,000 miles. As it turned out, the battery needed to be replaced, but I made the trip anyway. Im usually carrying a jumper box with me (when you drive a high mileage vehicle, you tend to carry a rescue box with you!!); but I had accidentally left it in the garage for this trip.Sure enough, dead battery. I called AAA, and they sent out CJ, who was there - and Im not kidding when I say this! - in about 5-10 minutes!! Very friendly, knowledgeable, patient; he made sure I was up and running (the Jeep kept stalling out), then waited until I actually got moving before packing up to head back out.CJ is one of those special employees, the kind that raises the value of your brand and your service with every new person he comes in contact with. Hes an invaluable asset, and I cannot overstate how much I appreciate the help he gave me!!CJ: Just to remind you who this is, I was the guy with the green Cherokee on Penn Ave. the weekend before St. Patricks day. The car kept cranking and cranking without catching, and I ended up killing your jump box with it!! Thank you again, and I promised I would give you a rave review, so I hope this lives up to it!! The folks at Kendall showed up on my daughters college campus to rescue our minivan which had a dead starter. The technician and the tow truck driver both did an excellent and professional job. The tech called in my diagnosis to the shop before the tow truck even showed up. As a result, I had a new starter in just few hours and was able to drive back to Allentown, PA that night. We definitely recommend to anyone in the community.

I called Kendall Towing and talked with Josh. My daughters car would not start. I live out of state and explained the situation while also being a very cold day. Josh was very understanding and sent Derrick with a service truck out to meet my daughter. Thankfully it was just a battery. They really cared about helping my daughter and I with this car problem. Called AAA for a dead battery for a 2009 Honda Civic. Kendall Towing sent James. Tested my battery and ended up replacing it on the spot for about $124 after taxes. 6 year warranty, 3 years full replacement, 3 years pro-rated. James was very nice, professional, and replaced my battery very quickly. Great and quick service and now I dont have to worry about my car dying in the middle of the street.

I needed a jump on my work truck in the city today Good Friday. I was told 30 mins or more by the office, but the truck was there within 10 and I was absolutely stunned. Will for sure recommend to anyone!

Dave lifted the hood and noticed the battery cable was loose.He had the battery and the electrical tested and confirmed everything was in ordered.Just wanted to Thank Mr. Dave Saunders for being kind and positive. Great professionalisms and attentive. I might have to let the air out of my tires so that Dave can rescue me again!

I called after AAA decided to NOT be helpful and refused to tow my car to get it fixed. I called them and the Driver Craig was awesome! Showed up as soon as I got home and was able to get it towed down to the mechanic. And a lot cheaper than what AAA wanted!! Would definitely recommend their services and will be using them in the future.

Just had to have my car towed this morning after an early morning accident on the Blvd. of Allies - very dangerous part of the road. My AAA called Kendall and they responded quickly. My tow truck driver (sorry I forgot your name) was exceptionally nice to me. I was very shaken up and they were so caring about my safety. Did a great job in getting my car to the dealership.

Jesse saved us! Our Jeep broke down in a parking garage in downtown Pittsburgh during a Steelers game. He kept in touch with us communicating where he was and when he would arrive. Even though the tow truck couldnt fit in the garage Jesse came in to see if he could help. He was able to get the Jeep down from the 4th floor. It wouldnt start and had no power steering but he got it out of the garage and up on the truck. He was so helpful and pleasant.

Could not be nicer! My daughter dropped her phone in her engine while trying to take a photo for her dad. They came right out and were able to retrieve the phone. Very reasonable and the gentleman that responded was helpful to what her original concern was.

Awesome service from Mike and Dave. They responded quickly when my family and I had broken down at a busy Pittsburgh intersection. When Mike arrived he layed out a plan that made sure my kids and I were safe as we moved from our vehicle into the tow truck. Dave arrived to provide sort of backup to make sure everything went smoothly. They made safety a priority and didnt rush. Our car was towed and dropped off at a repair shop. I was very thankful to have people like Mike and Dave on the scene.

Great guys. Met me quickly to tow my car to one shop, then responded quickly once again when I ended up needing to tow to a different shop. The driver was friendly, funny, and helpful - I found out thru him that I can reimburse the cost of the tow thru my insurance. And the person I spoke to on the phone even helped me out on the pricing a bit since I had to tow it twice in one day. If I ever need to tow again, theyre the first people Ill call.

AAA sent a man from Kendall to check out my dead battery. He quickly tested the battery and electrical system and gave me a jump. Throughout, he was friendly and professional, and he taught me a couple of things while he was doing his job. He turned a crappy experience—a dead battery—into a not-so-bad one.

I’ve been having consistent car issues for the past several months with no answers. My car refused to turn on after recently buying a new battery.AAA dispatched Kendall towing and I’m so grateful Aaron came to help! He responded very quickly, and provided some of the best side road service I’ve had. (I’ve had quite a bit given my old car). He tested my battery ensuring it was in good condition, and was even able to adjust the battery terminals to start my car.He provided great insight about the problems he saw once he adjusted the terminals, and what I should do going forward to fix it.I would highly recommend him to anyone!
