Very easy to work with, which was a pleasant surprise!After a wreck, Pittsburgh Police had my car towed here, and my insurance totaled it.It was super easy to get in to retrieve all my personal belongings (Though they only let one person in, so be prepared to do it all yourself), and they were patient while I got everything out, even helping when I had trouble with my license plate.Just make sure to take your ID and a copy of your vehicle registration or title with you to prove ownership (if your registration is in the car you can download a copy for free from PennDOTs website)

I am a quality carriers driver and your guys came and towed me a mile or so to a safer location. The service truck that did my repairs was excellent also. I wish I could have got there names but they worked the evening shift at 8 pm on 8/27/21. If you could look them up they are excellent guys.

Can you really give a towing company a good review after they towed your car without your consent? Sure, they did it on behest of the City of Pittsburgh, unfortunately that doesnt really help me on a financial level - I was charged $200 - or on a psychological level (city should have never ordered that tow). I will say though, they have some nice mechanics.

McGann and Chester came through when AAA could not. Been a AAA member for 45 years - when the AAA driver arrived he said he couldn’t get me out and didn’t want to risk getting stuck himself. He left with nothing but me in my car stuck in the snow in a remote area.When Ryan from McGann and Chester arrivals he said simply no problem. I will say this, I called the lady who answered the phone was so polite, understanding, and just plain out genuinely a good hearted person. I was locked out of my car in the cold with my child. She sent someone right away. The man came and was able to get the passenger door to open after trying the driver door, the lock and the driver door again. I thought he was ready to give up but he went to the passenger side it was not working, I could tell he wanted to stop it was cold he didn’t and on the last try he was able to get it popped. Even though he left his wedge on my car I was able to meet him later that night where without me asking handed me a portion of my money back. This man was a GOD send and I will recommend and always use this company for anything dealing with my car issues that they can help with.

First time getting a flat tire on my Tesla. Wanted a towing company who is familiar with Teslas. Hoping I don’t need them again but I’m keeping their business card and already referred them to another Tesla owner, just in case. Rob was very professional and respectful, I was expecting some miserable, knows all, dirty guy and McGann and Chester was the opposite and definitely recommend. Rob said they tow all over the USA and all vehicles.

My car broke down on Route 28 heading into the city of Pittsburgh. I called Mcgann & Chester, the lady that had answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. She was quick and let me know the tow truck would be there ASAP and that the tow would be 175.00. I had asked her if the tow truck driver could drop my car off at the shop and ride me home. They had no problem with that at all. The driver was there in 15 minutes at 4:30pm in rush hour traffic. He was very friendly and had my car towed and me home safely in no time. Watched one of your drivers load up an Impala SS from River Road in Pittsburgh and tow it up 28, getting off at the Highland Park Bridge exit, with only the front of the car held by the winch.For miles, I watched this car bounce all over your truck. I was just waiting for it to fall off and cause a major accident.I hope the owner checks the rims of their car because Im pretty sure I watched them get slammed by the bed rails ...May want to consider a different company for your tows.. or at the very least.. check to make sure your car is strapped down ...Edit - 07/18/2019 - Feel free to post pictures proving otherwise then. Once posted I will edit my review. Until then, my proof stands as public information as to the carelessness of your company.

Great service was sitting in the middle of an intersection with 2 toddlers on a 85 degree day. Called them and 15 mins later my vehicle was picked up and took it to the shop met with us and we was able to pay online also. Fantastic service very professional and understanding. I clipped a curve and pushed my bumper into the tire they changed the tire and straightened the bumper and you cant tell it was bent definitely recommend them

I waited outside in the cold in an alley in Pittsburgh Im a single woman, for an hour, had to call your company to see what was taking so long only to find out that the driver went on another call and nobody bothered to contact me they sent another driver and that was great but I will never use your service again and I will make sure that nobody I know uses them either.

Hit something on 279S and ended up sitting on the Veterans bridge with a flat tire. Mr. Boo was there in FIFTEEN MINUTES and we were on the road 5 minutes later . I had my 78 year old dad in the car whos on portable oxygen. This was amazing service . Thank you.

Called for a service because of broken studs on my rear axle. They sent Chad with a a 90-120 minute. He showed up in 60 minutes. Assessed the situation and gave me his opinion on what needs to be done for safety. A new hub made the most sense instead of trying to replace studs. And I feel safer just doing it with new parts. Will definitely call again as I am in Pittsburgh Monday through Friday every week. Thanks

I was assisted Roadside by a gentleman by the name of Ryan I do believe. He was incredibly professional with great customer service skills. The overall experience was quick, timely, and professional on the actual service end. Kudos for having such a polite person to answer roadside calls and to deal with customers in the worst times. It makes even the toughest situations calming.Answering service I was placed on holds and people had to ask others many questions to process my order and request.Although my experience was over all a very pleasant experience I would recommend utilizing giving a client an estimated time on emergency services and having the person answering the phone trained well on services and billing costs. This would help instill confidence within the customer.

My stolen van was recovered and towed by ( McCann@Chester) on 11/06/2019 and it was kept at their lot for 16 day. Then i received letter from them informing about my van. So i had to pay $525 to get my van. The question is why do you keep it for such a long time ????

After an fortunate incident with an unmarked curb in downtown Pittsburgh Sunday night Adam showed up promptly with his flatbed truck and expertly secured my vehicle. They do not overcharge they are extraordinarily professional and fair you couldnt ask for any better service under the circumstances you might find yourself and your vehicle at their locations.

Called for road service because transmission wasnt shifting in even gears. They drive 7 miles and charged 2 hour minimum ($190) and $95 truck fee and sent someone that knows nothing about a super 10 transmission therefore did nothing. And to top it off when their so called machanic got out of our truck left it in 3rd gear while the truck was running. So no please do not use this company unless you wanna be take. Advantage of.

I broke down on a very busy highway towing Manufactured house! My wife was stuck on ice and blocking traffic. It was taking a while for me to get to her due to traffic. One of the drivers spotted her, pulled her out and onto the side of the road in a safe spot. He was a good samaritan that helped her when she was having a terrible afternoon. We greatly appreciated his service and thoughtfulness of others.

I have had the unfortunate luck of having to have multiple vehicles wrecked and impounded over the last year and they have all ended up here. The process of getting my belongings was always simple they were helpful and didnt make things unnecessarily difficult. When i had to deal with the front desk for insurance and other issues they were helpful, attentive and thorough. When i ran into snags the helped me to work out a solution.

I liked Ken and he worked hard to do a good job, treating my new car with care. I would have been more comfortable had he had a bit of training on the Tesla Model 3. He had never towed one before and while all went well, Teslas are so different a little instruction would have been good. I look to his management and the Tesla service center for that.
