Rocco and Matt are great. Bought a dishwasher that needed service 5+ times. Stopped in and talked to Rocco and he allowed us to upgrade to a new model if we agreed to pay the difference while also starting the 5year warranty from new once the new dishwasher arrives. Stop in and ask for Rocco
8/30/2021 expected delivery 2:30 pm no direct contact for rescheduling or explanation… we had to personally contact them in order to get any information…If there was an issue I feel as though management should of notified any customer who weren’t getting any appliances delivered….. I’m a bike messenger furthermore; I’m calling any customer who deserve to know about anything issues, mishaps, or etc. There is a right way to run a delivery service. Unfortunately this isn’t the way. Not happy but not totally upset.
In March I was given the runaround from Home Depot Wilkins Twp. I went without a stove for 5 weeks!!! I don’t know how I do this bout I forget about the small businesses and I’m so embarrassed I didn’t go there first! Rocky was so helpful and got me the range of my dreams for less $$ than the big box store. I’ve learned my lesson this time and won’t do it again. EXCELLENT customer service, better prices!!!!

Picked out a new fridge. Rocco was a great help and our fridge was delivered on the date requested. The delivery guys were very fast and cognizant of their surroundings in my house. A family run business which we chose to visit during these times. They need the money more than the Home Depot so check them out!
I havent received my new stove yet ( I requested to reiceve it in a week) but I couldnt wait to tell the internet about the incredible customer service I just received from the sales person Rocky!I almost bought the same stove from Lowes for $900. Thankfully I stopped into Perlas. They had the very same stove I wanted for only $500! And of course the sales process was faster, easier and more thorough than Lowes! I am thrilled with todays purchase. I hope delivery and install are great too. 😀

We purchased a washer dryer refrigerator and freezer last year from Perlis. It was so easy. We did it over the phone, they delivered it on an absolutely awful rainy snowy Saturday morning, installed everything. They gave us a great price and great service. We recently moved to South Carolina and I reached out to Rocco at Perlis again and he was able to make a connection for us with somebody down here. That is customer service if I’ve ever heard.You just don’t find a customer service like Perla’s provide every day.
They have been out to my house 5 times to fix my dishwasher and have failed to fix it, they even changed the same part twice. The worst part about the company is that they have the most unprofessional people answering the phone, when I would call they would tell me that they could not set an appointment at that time. The man that would answer the phone was so ignorant he did not care about fixing my dishwasher he even hung up on me. I have gone with out a dishwasher since march 6, the only reason I kept calling them is because my home warranty company assigned them to me, which I called the home warranty company to file a complaint.

They stand behind their products and go above and beyond for their customers. You can find appliances for a budget project or high-end appliances for your dream kitchen. Id rather give my money to this small business than to a big box retailer.
I’ve tried contacting Perla’s every day this week to set up an appointment to get my oven fixed. I have not received a call back. It’s already been 3 months without an oven with 2 kids in my house and was hoping to get this fixed ASAP.
They had what we wanted in stock and for considerably less expensive than what we found at the other places we shopped. They delivered the very next day. The installation proved to be more difficult than anticipated, and they stayed with it until they got it done right. (Actually, removing the old appliances was the tough part.) The results are beautiful. Perlas now my go-to place for appliances.
My husband and I are currently in the process of moving back to the pit area. I have looked high and low, researched and looked some more for appliances, as well as install/delivery options and this business is truly above the rest. The prices are competitive and the customer service is impeccable. I look forward to making this my local shop for home appliance needs.
I searched all the big name stores for a new refrigerator then remembered Perlas Appliance from where I grew up. I was delighted to see Perlas prices were lower then every other store! Rocco was incredibly helpful and professional and I think the best part was that they have their own delivery and dont farm it out to God knows who to handle your expensive appliances. My wife and I remodeled our kitchen. During rh design, we found appliances we loved and had the contractors build to fit those. We originally ordered our appliances from another company, where they were backordered. We called a few appliance stores, and they were also sold out.I finally found Perlas. We ended up buying the range, fridge, and dishwasher from them. The prices were fair and reasonable. Everyone I talked to was courteous, thanked me for the business, and genuinely worked to win our business. That was not the same with some of the other big name appliance stores locally. I never felt pressured to make a decision. It was an all around amazing buying experience.Delivery and installation and was free and smooth. Everything was done quickly and very professionally. There were no surprise fees.
We needed a new washing machine after a repair person gave us the price for a new one. Then I asked him who he recommended and said “Perla.” I had never heard of them. He also suggested a brand (Speed Queen”) and model. I looked it up on the web to get reviews. Then called Perla. I thought I would have to go to the store. They took the order over the phone and delivered it three days later! Big box stores had told me two weeks! I will definitely be doing business with them again.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I cant say one good thing about Perlas. I waited all day for a service person to show up at my house. When he didnt arrive by 2pm I called and spoke with young Rocco who said hed have the service person call. When nobody called by 3pm I called and older Rocco told me that he left a voicemail message earlier in the day that the repair person was not coming but there was no message.Six weeks later the service person shows up and charges me like $150 for a five minute diagnosis - nothing was fixed but he said theyd get back to me on a price and would credit half of the diagnostic fee toward repair or purchase.Its over three weeks later and I have literally six calls in to Perlas and they wont even call me back. Ive only gotten to talk to someone twice and both times she told me the person I had to speak with was on the other line and would call me right back, which never happened.Their voicemail message boxes are full now and you cant even leave a message.They just want to charge you a diagnostic fee which only takes a few minutes of work and they are happy just to keep that because theres no time involved. They have no interest in doing repairs or selling you anything new.Im going to call the retailers they represent as a dealer to explain how Perlas does (or should I say doesnt) do business.Im also going to file a civil lawsuit for treble damages for the diagnostic fee and a criminal lawsuit for violation of UDAP statutes. Im not doing it for the money but rather to put this company on notice that they cant do business this way.See how many other bad reviews they have. Perlas could have saved themselves a lot of trouble by just doing the right thing.

DAMAGED FRIDGE, NO RESOLUTION. I really wanted to support a small local business with my purchase, but Im sorry to say Im extremely dissatisfied. We bought a fridge here in January 2020, and when it arrived, we looked at it, saw no issues, and signed that it had been received in good condition. The delivery workers switched the doors to the other side of the fridge for us upon request. However, after they left we noticed issues with the freezer door not remaining closed, which interfered with the operation of the fridge. I called and emailed Perla asking for help, but received no response. I later found out that the reason for the fridge door issue was that the top of the fridge was *massively* dented, which my wife and I could not have seen upon arrival as were 56. So they either knowingly delivered a dented fridge or damaged it during installation (which they would have been able to see) and then did not respond to multiple communications. I feel cheated and would not buy from them again.
This is the first new washer I’ve ever bought and Very happy with my purchase and price.they delivered it and tested it and explained everything about it. the delivery person was very knowledgeable and professional with installation. I’m giving this company five stars because they earned it and deserve it.
Our landlord ordered our new dishwasher and dehumidifier from this place. I can tell you that if I was the one actually paying I would be even more upset! First installation scheduled no one ever called or showed up, we had to call and asked what happened. “Oh sorry we didn’t have what was ordered and we were over booked.” Second installation scheduled they called to say they weren’t coming bc they couldn’t do it that late in the day, at 3:00pm, and that whomever had told us they could had been wrong. Also, they “didn’t have the other thing ordered.” Third installation scheduled I’m expecting before 3:00 pm, of course, but no one showed up and no one called. I called and got a recorded answer and option to leave voicemail. Then the guy shows up at 20 minutes to 5:00! No call before hand or to say they’re on the way and we’re in the middle of preparing dinner! I know this is long, but it had to be to explain the ridiculousness! Not a very positive experience.

Literally the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They no showed twice. Can’t reach anyone via phone. Literally replaced a hose on my washer to stop the leak and it’s been leaking even more now. Wont use this company again.
Reviewed their website, which was will laid out, for the model of dryer I was interested in. I sent an email inquiry if they had any scratch and dent items available. I received a prompt call stating they didnt have any scratch and dents, but the model that I was interested in was on sale for a few more days. After confirming it was on sale I bought the dryer online. Delivery included haul away of my old dryer too. Great price, great selection, and great service. Ill consider Perlas Appliance Plus in the future.
I had a new stove delivered last week- the folks that did the install were exceptional. When they were leaving they said, we dont take the box- you have to dispose of it. This box was huge, and was filled with styrofoam and plastic. Why not provide the FULL service and take the box when they leave?
Weve always had an excellent experience at Perlas. Weve now bought a number of appliances from them (washer/dryer, refrigerator, small refrigerator) and theyve been very helpful in the entire process. They have helped in choosing the appliance, and also helped us to get a particular model of washer/dryer that I wanted when it was hard to find. When it was going to take some time, they gave us a loaner (brand new models) to use in the meanwhile! For our new mini-fridge, they gave us free delivery and took away the old, broken one! You really cant beat the service!

We want really top notch appliances and have always found them at Perlas. I have always had comparative prices in hand, and we always got a good price. Delivery was on time. And when we need repairs, Perlas had always responded quickly and fixed the problem. We have washer/dryer (three times over the past 40 plus years), dish washer (twice), stove top, and refrigerator from them.
We have dealt with Perlas for over 35 years. Great family business in our neighborhood. Great prices, great value, great service, quick delivery, no problems. Better than the big box stores. Just replaced appliances in our new kitchen that is 25 years old. Perlas did the original; same great prices, same great service, delivered in 2 days. Going to see Rocky tomorrow for a new drier. 35 years and still a happy customer, that should say a lot about feedback. As a side note: we have purchased all high end appliances from Perlas: Sub Zero, Thermador, Jenn-Air, Bosch, Franke, Maytag and Whirlpool. Best prices. No regrets. Highly recommended.

My home warranty suggested this company. It took a full week for them to come look at my broken refrigerator... 5 minutes of a tech looking at my unit yup, its broken. Im not the guy to fix it. Itll be 5 to 7 days. Thats the short version. No calls from them... unit is still broken and Ive already paid! Day 11 since the tech said this. Voice mail is full and Ive been hung up on twice. Shouldve just bought a new unit since they are seemingly not able to help a paying consumer.
We had a very poor experience working with this company from start to finish. It took them a month to return our initial phone calls. We called several times and emailed. After we were finally able to schedule the original service date, the mechanic did not show up as agreed. The second service date was set for 1-5 and the mechanic showed up at 5:30 with no apology. I called the company, was given attitude, and nothing was done to remedy the errors. We do not recommend working with this company.

Dont bother going anywhere else, Rocky and his son were fantastic, they were the best price around. The delivery guys were just as good they took everything up to the kitchen they unboxed it assembled everything cleaned everything up and hauled the packing materials away. Rocky even called me afterward and told me that three of the items had rebates available, I ended up getting another $400 off! I wouldnt go anywhere else.

This place is so great! I needed a specific washer and dryer to fit tight dimensions and the staff was so helpful in finding me the right pieces. (as a side note, I went to Home Depot first and not only could they do nothing to help me, but one man there told me to go to Perla instead!) They were also wonderful with the delivery and installation, having to come back twice to install - due to an issue on my end. I plan to buy all future appliances here, just because they are so wonderful to work with!

Went to another local store looking for some new appliances. They were petty unresponsive and didnt seem interested in my business. I then went to Perlas and they very quickly found exactly what I was looking for. Appliances were delivered and installed in about a week. Perlas has great customer service and really work to get exactly what you want. Their installers are reliable, professional and courteous and do a great job. Perlas is my choice for any future appliances I may need.
Called for warranty repair work. Took 3 days for Perla to show up and then tell us he didnt have the necessary part with him even after it was explained prior to his coming what the problem was. Still waiting for over a week for the part to come in Would like to give a minus 1 star but cant
I was waiting during a 1 pm to 5 pm window on a Friday afternoon for a repairman for a dishwasher I had bought at Perlas seven years ago. When no one had arrived by 5:09 pm, I left my apartment for just a few minutes. When I returned, I found a message from Matt, who had rung but had gotten no answer. He left his phone number, which I called right away. He was on his way home in rush-hour traffic, but when I asked if he could come back, he mentioned the difficulty of turning around in traffic and asked if he could call me back. A few minutes later he was at my door. He fixed my dishwasher quickly and efficiently and was very pleasant. I was so grateful to him for returning, which was surely above and beyond the call of duty. It really made my day. When I looked at the invoice after Matt left, I discovered that his last name is Perla! I called about my Dacor fridge not cooling. We were able to book an appointment within a few days (another companys wait time was 2 weeks!). Matt arrived within the appointment window and was able to fix our problem in about half an hour. He was pleasant and professional. I would definitely call Perlas again
We were shopping for new appliances for our kitchen remodel and had been looking at all of the big box stores thinking it would be the best deal. A friend recommended Perlas so we checked it out. Sure enough this place had the best deal. We saved over $1500 on 4 appliances. Plus they are hoping our appliances until our remodel is complete.

I called weeks ago to set up washer repair appointment for today 1-5pm. They did not show up for repair and no call to cancel my appointment. I called Perlas to ask are you still coming to repair? person who answer the phone saying we are running late... He told me to call again if I dont hear from technician. No technician so I called again. Different man answered. The man told me there is no appointment set up for me today. I said to him I recognize your voice you set up my appointment 1 weeks ago. He put me on hold and come back and saying the technician got sick 2 days ago so we cannot send anyone today. I asked him then why didnt you call me to let me know I took day off to get the repair done. He start to get very nasty with me... Perlas Appliances not reliable and bad customer service!!!

The repair service department is unreliable. We rent and have our landlord handle everything for us. When we try to find out when repairs are being made, statuses of repairs, etc., we get nothing but attitude from the department or threats of not completing the service. That is not how a company is supposed to run!! We even threatened our building security just for the repairman to come in, but they didnt come in the day that was scheduled and gave us excuses!! Dont use them!!

I come in and say Hey there, I am looking for a lid switch for a whirlpool ultimate care II. Do you guys have that?Lady at the desk says I cant do anything without a model number. I think its so funny when guys come in thinking theyre all cool acting like they know about stuff with a model name.Oh, okay. Well I dont think Im cool, but whatever. Ill call someone at the house and get the model number.I come back in within a few minutes and give her the model number.She starts looking up the part for me, and says so does that make sense to you now?Yeah, it makes sense why you have so many terrible reviews. No wonder everyone hates you. Maybe you shouldnt degrade your customers intelligence for no reason at all.

I called Perla looking for a Frigidaire refrigerator. They had several in stock with delivery the next day. Three deliverymen arrived on schedule. Removal of my old build-in Kitchen Aid refrigerator was very difficult from a second story apartment with little clearance and the deliverymen did a fantastic job. They were very conscientious about preventing damage to my walls and floors. The new refrigerator was set up perfectly. I couldnt have asked for better work. Highly recommend to other customers.
I love Perlas. So far weve gotten our washer, dryer, fridge, and oven from Rocco. He has great service. Cheap and prompt delivery. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Website works very well. Big box stores may be a tad cheaper (possibly) but the personalized service more than makes up the difference.Edit: just got a second fridge. Eventually all the appliances in our house will be from perlas. They have a strong commitment to covid precautions, too, which made me feel safe shopping there.

Im a new homeowner and have been at my residence for 3 months. When we moved in I contacted Perlas appliances for an appliance and been calling for updates for months. Noone contacted me with updates. I paid for them to come out and finally was able to schedule and appointment on Monday for today(Friday) between 1-5pm. They arrive at 4:30pm with a part that isnt the right one. I called at 11am to make sure someone was coming out since its been so hard to get in contact. We spoke he confirmed and also stated he had 2 or 3 of my brand stove fans and they be bringing one if it isnt right then will be returning with another one! Now they say its the wrong one and now I have to reschedule. Soooo I call and waited on hold for however long, the owner picks up and is now telling me he doesnt have the fan and itll need ordered when he told me earlier he had 2 or 3 of the brand and wasnt sure why!!! Unbelievable..I say I feel Im getting blown off and he looses it telling me Im disrespectful and I can contact someone else and Im trying to calm him down and say Im not being disrespectful and I even apologized for him feeling that way! I was trying to simply reschedule since weve paid for them to come out and diagnose the problem. Was told he will not do the job and I can contact someone else.Each time I called to touch base and was told the part is being ordered I waited a whole week sometimes two before calling back just to give the part time to come. Not once was I contacted even when the fan that was thought to be the right one arrived and was told I would hear back. Ive been contacting feeling like a pest just to get my appliance workingAgain Im a new homeowner I am unfamiliar with contractors, no I wouldnt like to find someone else, Id just like the job done.

Zero stars from me. The repair person showed up as planned and seemed thorough . Gave us the diagnosis which made a lot of sense. We paid them the warranty fee at that time. That was 14 days ago. They still have not called my warranty company to get approval to do the repair. It is a very quick call for them to do this. Avoid these guys.
The serviceman was very professional, polite and informative. I got an extremely good lesson in maintenance, etc on care for our appliance! He also saw for himself that for a handicapped person he changed the direction of the dryer door to open with ease. Thank you!

We read the reviews after we bought our appliances from Perlas and were very nervous about what to expect. Our experience in buying had been professional and we were really happy with our purchase. Everything that followed has been great. About 2 years later we had to call for service. We did have a no call no show but the second appointment was great. Steve was knowledgeable, personable, an all around great guy. Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from, except for the one issue out experience with Perlas has been great! This is the second time he has been to do a repair as my husband refuses to rinse the dishes and both times Steve could not have possibly have done a better job or been more professional.

Had issues with my refrigerator when we moved into our new house and had 2-10 home warranty. Our first company came out three times and never fixed the issue just charged us 300 dollars for the visits. We had Steve come to our house from perlas appliance and he took the time to take apart the refrigerator, find and solve our issue in one visit! Highly recommend this company for any appliance issues.
