I do NOT recommend this company. They took our money and after chasing him for months with calls and text messages he finally brought the equipment out. Come to find out though that he delivered a 3 ton unit but had sold us a 4 ton unit with a heat strip. Only did half of the installation and again will not return calls or texts. Very unprofessional. Very disappointed especially since he was a friend of a friend. If he will do this to someone a friend knows I can only imagine what he would do to others. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY OF ANY SORT UPFRONT.
Do not give this man money up front.. Make sure if you are going to have him do work for you that he pulls a permit.He did my A C and never changed the thermostat or check the duct work. I had to call him when the weather turned cold because I had no heat.. Trying to get him to do a job is frustrating to say the least. He will take money up front and then trying to get hold of him is almost impossible.He does not return calls or answer text messages.I only hope no one else has to go through what he put me through to get my money back.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Barry took my money and abandoned the job. Do not do business with this company. He is a conman, took advantage of me and 5 kids . Scamed 25 thousand dollars.
Do not use this company Barry took my deposit and never returned, it took me almost a year to get my deposit back, went thru the PCCLB, the amount was $1500.00 not a fortune but it does show that he was dishonest, again avoid this company
Very similar to other reviews, they refuse to return calls or resolve the problem they created months ago.
DO NOT USE PROTECH ENERGY MANAGEMENT! ZERO rating if there is such is the quality work he does. Barry Seligman does not return calls or texts after he installs your AC|Heating unit. Did sloppy work in Feb. 2017, and you cannot get him to return without reporting him to Better Business Bureau, and the Permits Department. Be SURE TO HAVE HIM PULL A PERMIT! I know his mother, he did not do a permit. But I had to report him to PERMITS dept this is the only way he sent his helper to complete his unfinished work and replace the coils. He does not answer his phone you have to call him from another phone. He took 13 THIRTEEN months to replace TRANE broken coil system. In the meantime NEW TRANE system was leaking water in the garage when the day got hot but it was in Spring so the situation was never addressed because we focused more on the unit not cooling properly. Now its summer the water flooded the garage daily. A friend who knows about AC came and identified one fault the Air handler is cracked and about 1 ft of water is sitting in the unit and rust can be seen on the walls of unit. Friend taped the crack to stop water in garage...as of today August 9 2018 Seligman has not showed up or sent his helper to repair the 2nd problem ... mind you problems started before the unit was 3 months old so it was within the 1 year agreement for his free service!!! Therefore if he had return when notified all issues would have been taken care of and I could refer him to anyone. But I never will refer...take my advice if you do NOT LIKE HEADACHES DO NOT GIVE PROTECH ENERGY YOUR BUSINESS.
