This review is specifically for Tommy in the Lumber department. We were redoing our porch and he helped us from start all the way to finish. He advised us on all of our options, helped us plan the wood decking, counted our stuff, made sure we had everything we needed, checked us out, and helped us load the truck. There is NO way we could have planned this project without him. It would have been so much messier and now I feel confident as we start to build.Tommy was extremely professional, extremely helpful, and went way above and beyond. I can easily say that I’ll be looking for him the next time we start a project. He’s awesome. Lowe’s has a true gem.

This place is a joke. I tried to get a simple pane of glass. The guy helping me said he had never cut glass before then he ask me if he could give me a pane 1/2 to small. Like a window with a hole in it would be ok. You have to be kidding me!! I dont know if they were really out or if he couldnt figure it out. They had to be out of 6 different sizes to be completely out. Never again.

I needed to cut a couple of butcher blocks, I needed it done today, however, my request to cut them was denied at a different Lowes store, then I went to the one I am writing this review for. I went straight to the lumber department, TOMMY and MIKE HELPED ME: UNPACKED, PACKED IT BACK (after they cut it the way I wanted them to), WISHED ME A GOOD DAY AND I AM HAPPY! I RECOMMEND THIS LOWES STORE! I THANK YOU VERY MUCH, LOWES, TOMMY and MIKE!

Waiting for delivery (in window provided). Called to verify delivery. Thirty-minute wait time. Provided order number. Transferred to three people (final company not associated with Lowe’s but rather a third-party installation company) and despite receipt and email saying we have paid for delivery, was told dishwasher is at store for pickup?! Not a good process to say the least. And the attitude “customer service” provided on the phone?! No thanks.

More organized than the other big box store Dow the street. Employees are friendly and helpful. They have enough carts too.

Hard to review a hardware store as they all have pretty much the same stuff. We chose Lowes for their HRC equality index score.

I really like this store. Everyone is always so helpful. The guys in the nursery always ask me if I need help. Its never super crowded which I like and the store is super neat and clean.

Was disappointed with this lowes! I needed to purchase a piece of foam board insulation and have it cut to a specific size (also so i would be able to fit it in my car) i found an employee and asked, he called that department and asked and was told they really dont do that anymore, but it would be up to the employee working that dept. Then the employee looked at me and said sorry we dont do it anymore! He never tried finding anyone in that dept to ask if they would, so i left went to Home Depot and they were more than happy to do it(and i bought all my other items i needed that day there too)

I have shopped both Lowes and Home Depot. And find the Lowes is a better shopping experience, friendlier staff, and they give a military discount of 10% to all veterans. Lowes appreciates theyre veterans patronage. As a veteran I appreciate Lowes recognizing me and giving me a discount. And Lowes carries some of the things I buy on a continual basis that Home Depot does not.

My complaint is, I go to home depot and make a payment no problem. Lowes employees dont know how to make your payment with the bill. Only at service desk, what an inconvenience. Paid it off and will only go to the depot for product and service.

I shop at Home Depot most of the time but....... The other day they didnt have what I needed and Lowes did. So I went to Lowes and not only found what I needed, but it was 10% cheaper. So I started looking around and noticed that they have really stepped up their game. I will still continue to shop at the Home Depot but definitely not exclusively. Unless they can get some more knowledgeable staff in. If you have questions, Home Depot can actually answer them. Other than that, the prices are very competitive, the quality of their stuff is very competitive, its just the service that gave them four stars instead of five.

Bought a bag of cement and asked the cashier for assistants to help me load it in my car. She called twice but no on showed up. I ended up returning it and spoke to the manager and told him the hole story. All I got was Im sorry. Terrible costumer service at this store, and its not the first time. Wont be coming back, Ive had it.

Staff here are hit and miss with being kind and helpful. For the most part they are helpful and knowledgeable. Isles could be neater as several isles had items dragged out into the middle and created obstacles.

Id be weary of getting windows and doors plus the installation from Lowes in Pinellas County. My understanding is they all use a company called AMPOL Construction who damaged our property when they came to install the windows and doors. We purchased windows and doors from the Lowes on Park Blvd. in Pinellas Park. We were told the installation would be between March 17 - April 15. They didnt install our windows and doors until Jun 17, 18, and 21.The installation crew showed up 7.25 hours late on the initial install day where two of the guys told us repeatedly they didnt want to be there. They were disrespectful towards us and our time and repeatedly acted as if we inconvenienced them even though they were being paid to do a job via this Lowes and us. They smoked on our property and did NOT protect anything we were told and said they would protect in the agreement. It has been almost one month and the job is still not complete.Had we known the nightmare we were going to endure we would have 1) only purchased the windows and doors through Lowes, if an option, and found our own installation crew OR 2)NOT purchased windows and doors through Lowes at all. BEWARE of hiring Lowes to install your windows and doors if they are still using AMPOL construction.The sales representative and manager did come out to our residence almost 3 weeks after the install to inspect what was done; but have yet to get in contact with us since even after numerous attempts to reach out to them.

Always best products way over Home Depot. Lowes people are helpful and knowledgeable about their stock. Would not even consider going anyplace else.

Paint CSR Jasmine was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There was only on cashier working but she was super pleasant and calm under pressure.

I was in the plumbing section searching for materials to repair or replace bathroom fixtures when Rick approached to see if I needed help. Being a Mr. Fixit who could become Mr. Screwitup in a heartbeat, Rick help me choose what was needed along with his helpful hints to make the job a piece of cake! He was very patient, courteous and exemplified traits that are something not found often enough in the home improvement industry. Thanks Rick!

I went into the lavatory section to find an item on sale. Two associates were there helping other customers. They both saw me waiting. One disappeared and the other walked past me looked right at me and kept walking never to return. I waited for over an hour for someone to assist me. Two young men who didnt work in that department and who had seen the associates ignore me took pity on me and tried their best to help. Eventually one of the associates reappeared an took me directly to the sale item which wasnt in that department but rather on display at the front of the store.I was told that employees at this store has a habit of treating people who look like me this way. Shame on lowes.

JIM AND JOHNThe manager Jim and his best buddy John deliberately made me have a sun stroke while I was working the mulch and shopping carts.I became dizzy, and have a faint like symptoms. My leg muscles started to cramp And they Jim&john witness me vomiting and throwing up.. It gave me the worst runs I had ever experienced in my life...Only to Be fired

Very poor customer service. Needed wood cut, I asked a worker who cuts wood? His answer everyone does. So I ask if we can someone can come over to cut wood, his answer well Im the only one that cut wood. Then he just standing there waiting for the fork lift to come. Meanwhile wouldnt you tell the fork lift driver to wait until you help the customer. Then go back doing what they doing, getting wood down to stock. No wonder I shop more at home depot

Pretty sure Im done doing business with this company for good finally. Went to pick up lumber, and as we all know it keeps going up, with that said. Picked up 6-2x3x96 @ $4.96, Five days later, at the same store, the same purchase was $5.66. $0.70 increase without even a sign at the lumber showing the price or the price increase. Looks like its time to go to The Home Depot. Either way, Contractors make sure to check you receipts surely this is not the first.

Plenty of parking and you can park close to one of three entrances depending on which part of the store you are visiting. Store is very clean and well stocked each time I visit. Returns are quick and easy with receipt. My favorite local home store.

Multiple times I have had an issue with Lowes not enforcing the face mask ordinance here in pinellas county. If you question someone not wearing a mask they will get right in you face. I hope I have not been exposed because they just do not care about safety. These people were inside.

I like lowes but at this store no one hardly wears a mask even the employees. If they have a mask on it is below their nose. I can understand having to dodge other customers but not employees.

We bought a new toilet and an installation service from Lowe’s. After paying the installation fees of $129 at Lowe’s, we got a call from handy.com to let us know someone from North County Plumbing would install the toilet for us 10 days later. And we were told the toilet would be installed between 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. When I asked handy.com if they could send someone earlier, I was told North County Plumbing was the only one in my area.On the installation day, the guy from North County Plumbing, Chris, came at 1:01 pm. He first complained that we had an open box toilet. I did notice the box had been opened at the Lowe’s and asked the guy who gave us that toilet. The guy at Lowe’s told us that he was the one opened box to make sure all parts were there. Chris told me that Lowe’s guy was lying to me.When Chris started to replace our toilet, he was constantly cussing. Then, I told him I needed to take my daughter to school for a short while, but my husband, who worked from home, was upstairs should he need anything.Upon my returning, Chris was gone. Our new toilet was installed. My husband signed the paper work. However, Chris left a bag of disgusting gunks from our old toilet on my dinner table!!! I won’t use Lowe’s installation service ever again in the future. Last time we had another toilet replaced by Home Depot. Their service guy cleaned up afterwards.

We usually love Lowe’s. This branch gave 0 effort. For any question we asked we were told “go look over there”. Horrible experience. We went on a Saturday evening looking for lumber, plumbing parts and more. They did not give us our military discount either.

We ordered a ceiling fan by phone text and when we got there had to park next to the pick up slots. Not Lowes fault. People had parked there and went inside to shop. There was no lack of parking near the store. When asked what slot number we were in we told them we were next to a numered slot. They came right out with our fan and found us quickly. Good service even when other customers made it harder.

Great variety of home repair supplies in, employees are very helpful in guiding you to material your trying to find. I have found they always carry different styles and patterns than their competition which gives me some options when renovating. Never had a problem with returns. I love their mark downs on discontinued items. Replace my hard wood floor for half the cost when the marked new flooring down 50%....
