Our family has went here for years. but not anymore. the paint on toe nails chipped in a day. Returned after 6:oo p.m. on a Friday and explained the situation to the tech. the gentleman was very rude and let me know they were closed. the older asian nail tech was kind enough to give me a new nail paint for 46.00. i had just spent about a 100.00 the day before and now want another 46.00 to fix her mistake. i was leaving at 5:00 A.m. the next day and was willing to fork it over. when stamping my card, she gave me a new one and said, just bring in the old next time. because of time and keeping the clerk any longer, i just had her make a new stamp, even though I had earned a 35% discount. Returning today for a balance and pedi, I noticed the young tall blonde associate not properly cleaning the chair before the next customer. This made me feel uncomfortable. need to sanitize metal tray on chair and chair.When paying my bill, I pulled out my cards and the young blonde clerk said that i could not redeem or combine both cards, although it clearly showed my car full and additional 2 stamps on 2nd. card. i had to persist to speak to manager Ann; with no consideration for me as a customer. Will not be coming here again. My tech is always nice but, Some have a cocky attitude. This is not acceptable and I do not want to go back there

I’ve gone here for years but recently the quality has been so bad. Got a gel pedicure and almos my nail wasn’t fully covered, polish all over my skin, and scratches all over my feet, plus got clipped on the side of toe. Didnt realize till I got home. Just hasn’t been good enough for the price recently and won’t be returning again.

Staff is pretty cool, you can get in and out quickly. They dont really do any designs but theyre a great option if you want nice nails & gel polish.

When I first arrived the nail tech dee was very friendly. However I couldn’t immediately decide what design I wanted and she grew impatient with me started to talking to Kim about me in her language. Two of my nails came off about a week later and one is loose now. I heard good things about this shop but unfortunately I won’t be a returning customer

Before the lady put my clear gel on to get the little biege gel that was still on them she argued with me that it wasnt gel that it was my nails when I left I went to a different shop and they corrected it for me they are lazy and very argumentive.

Had a nail extension completed, the next day my nail broke. They fixed it. Within 3 days 2 other nails broke I came in and they told me I had to pay. I refused so they just soaked off nails and did not even polish or do anything to them. $100 down the drain. Very disappointed. Have been coming here for 2 years and now they have a dont care attitude and the product is either old. So much for being a loyal customer.

Acrylic Nails lifted after 2 days . Ann told me next time go somewhere else when I asked her to fix them. She told me they lifted because my regular nails are long ?? Poor service, rude staff.

I’ve been coming to Nail Essence for at least the last 8 years. I won’t go anywhere else for a pedicure. Staff is amazing, and I’ve never left disappointed.

I was here for a full set and am very disappointed. I asked for medium length did not get that at best they are very short, as well as very wide not what i wanted. I feel like i wasted my money as now i have to go somewhere else have these soaked off and a new set put on. I guess i go back to looking for a new place again.

I asked for Dip powder for my nails. I asked the tech how long it would last she said 2-3 weeks. I just went in last week on June 26th. It is now July 6th. They are completely off my fingers. I also had my pedi done at the same time. I told her I wanted regular polish and she charged me for Gel pedicure. I walked out pay my 90.00 plus a tip. NOT SATISFIED BY ANY MEANS.

Worst experience at a nail salon ever. Rushed, painful & overpriced. When I said I wasnt happy I was smiled at and told, Oh, Im sorry. I will never be back. I highly recommend you go somewhere else.

Didnt have to wait at all to get my nails done. They were quick and efficient. I got just a basic manicure, but it still looks flawless days later! Prices were totally reasonable and everyone was friendly. 10/10 will return.

Got my nails done on Monday with the dip powder and by Thursday it was chipping off two of my nails. I went back Saturday morning to get them fixed. They were nice to let me get it fixed for free but the nail technician wasnt friendly At All! She had an attitude and said that it happens sometimes for the dip to chip off. I told her I have gone to other places and the deep has lasted 3 to 4 weeks without any chipping. She said maybe I did something to make it come off. I was really upset at the fact that she blamed me for it coming off and never did she apologize or was pleasant with me as she was on Monday!! Her attitude was totally different just because I needed for her to fix my nails!!

I had a pedicure and a gel manicure at Nail Essence last week. I had a very nice experience. I don’t know the techs name, but she was very attentive and friendly. I’ve never had a gel manicure, and I’ve been very pleased. After a week, my nails still look like they were just done.

I go get my nails done their every 3-4 weeks and it is an amazing experience, I love it there!

They talked me into getting gel paint on my nails again when I have been having trouble with the dip and the gel so I have been going back-and-forth trying to figure out what would work for me and they said let’s try gel again when I said let’s do acrylic so that it will stay so I do the gel again on Thursday then on Friday I was back in the salon to get one fixed that completely broke and the lady didn’t want to fix my other two that were chipped she just wanted to file them and then before Sunday on Easter which is the whole reason I wanted my nails done because of Easter six more we’re broke that’s almost every nail chipped or broken within four days now I came in Thursday like I said got a gel manicure and a gel pedicure spent over $100 and there’s no reason why I should have to go back and get them fixed all of them fixed except for maybe two of them and I’m sure they were still chipped also.....anyways they did a very poor job at this place and then tried to tell me that I was bending my fingernails and that’s why they were chipped this way which is 100% wrong I don’t go around bending my fingernails plus they are way to short to bend anyway...but all they wanted to do was fix the gel when in the beginning I didn’t even want to do gel. so I asked them if I would get a full set if they could give me a discount because I just got a gel manicure and pedicure Four days ago And they would not do it for me I ended up walking out and going to posh nail’s but they really hook it up at posh nails I recommend them 100% they realized what nail essence did wrong with the gel polish and they fixed it and hopefully that stays on when I started going to nail essence I told them from the beginning I was having trouble with gel and dip staying on my nails if they weren’t able to help me then they should’ve told me instead of letting me blow my money at their store and then there’s nothing that they can do to help me when it chips off and I wasn’t trying to get different nails for free I was just trying to get at least a discount if I had to get all new nails again since I just got them done on Thursday why should I have to pay $50 on Thursday and then $50 again on Monday for their mess up? I’m very disappointed in the service there I’m very disappointed in the way that the lady treated me yesterday there and I will never return to this place again

Highly recommend. Prices are consistent and the product isn’t cheap! I get gel done and I can go about three weeks without having to go back. Dee is great!

Really nice place for natural nails and peddies. They always use New, sealed equipment on every person. I highly appreciate this fact (new/clean/sealed files, and tools), very few salons do this!!! ❤️ Thank you!In response to the other posts, the men tend to be more rough-I request any of the ladies!!!!

Went on Friday to get a pedicure..the tech clipped my toe nail to deeply and made me bleed. The tech was pushy about a manicure and i hadnt had one for awhile so i agreed. What a Waste of time and money. By saturday 2 of the hand nails had chipped polish and i did go back to show her. The polish that had been used on me happened to be broken that morning. No problem, i did a quick fix myself. By tuesday morning 5 of the nails were chipped So sad.i called and spoke with the manager and she said regular manicure Not Guaranteed..only gel..i might as well have burned the money for services rendered..definitely will not go back. No pride in workmanship, just take the money.

My first visit was fine. Second visit, they cut my finger with the drill. Third visit, told them no drill, they reluctantly obliged. Wasnt seen until 30 minutes after my scheduled time.

Today was first time having my nails done at essential Nails staff was very very friendly and welcoming even though I did not have an appointment I didnt have to wait at all I was not rushed through she took her time and paid attention to detailsturned out awesome I can honestly say I will be coming back and I do suggestthis place to everyone

Been getting my nails done by these wonderful people since 1992. Ive followed them all over Columbus, if never go anywhere else.

If its going to be an hour and a half say so! Dont say 30 min, take people who came in after me, and then act surprised when I walk out. Just be honest with customers and let them decide if they can wait or not!

They lost a long time customer today. I asked the wait time for a pedi and they said none come right in. Soaking for 45 minutes while they take other customers was a waste of my time! I would have run errands and come back. Then they were rude when I asked how much longer.

Lots of staff and friendly. Little careless on normal polish paint job, didnt clean off polish from fingers after painting.
