I have been getting gel polish for over five years and NEVER has my polish chipped in two days. Also, I was firm on just getting my polish removed and repainted (no manicure) but the lady proceeds with a half ass manicure. I do not get my cuticles cut so basically she up charged me to just put my hand in soapy water. No massage, no hand rub. I originally wanted a manicure/pedicure but this process was taking longer than usual. My friend, who was getting a manicure/pedicure was finishing up and the lady goes to set up for my pedicure. I tell her that I would like the matching color of the gel polish on my toes but regular polish, not gel. She tells me to go match it 🤣. I was like this bih crazy. I have never but it ended there. I would NEVER return.

I went in on a Saturday around 2pm and it was bustling, but there was one empty massage chair - good start. A nice, cheerful woman named Vung did my pedicure and then my manicure. Her English was about as good as my Vietnamese, but we made it work. She did a nice, efficient job, and gave me a pretty long leg massage. Before putting on the polish, she rubbed half a lime on my nails. This may or may not have been to stop my nails from turning yellow. It definitely had to do with the color yellow - thats all I can say for sure.

Worst nail experience EVER! I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted and asked if she could do it. It was noting extravagant basically just a french manicure with a color at the top. She said she could (I would have went somewhere else if I knew she couldnt). First she shaped my nails and I only got a square shape, so once agin, nothing too hard. She did a horrible job at the shaping. None of my nails matched and she kept nicking the side of the nail and then just trying to put more fill over the top and not shaping it. I originally asked her if she was going to make them all uniform and she just nodded. When it came to the nail polish she put the wrong color on the top and it looked horrible. I just told myself ill get them changed in two weeks, like whatever. So I left with hand like scissor Edward hands. Literally an hour later they all started to chip. Every single one. I couldnt go back in the next day so I went in two days later and showed her that they were all chipping, she told me she was going to have to pull off all the color so I chose another color. Just a plain one that was simple to put on because just like my time is limited I know hers is too so I was trying to be respectful. She nicks another one of my nails and does a horrible job fixing it and then tries to charge me for the mistake!!!! I was like WHAT! I told her that there was no way I was paying for her mistake and bad work. They told me to never come back and I said dont worry I wont be. Super rude. Salon is dirty and staff tried to charge you for everything. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else, or just rip off you nails. Anything is better then going there.

I’ve gone here a few times now after work and have walked away very pleased each time. Today Anna did my gel manicure and my nails look lovely! She’s very kind and gentle, especially at a process (removing gel) that is very harsh on your nails.I will definitely be coming back!

Today was my first time at Charlies Nails. The lady who did my nails was very friendly and did a great job on my nails. She asked me questions throughout and made the experience enjoyable. I had a gel manicure and a spa pedicure done and was out of there in an hour. The pedicure is neat because it comes with hot rocks and a fruit rub, which i have never had before. Definitely will be going back during my lunch our for touch ups.

I had a really great experience here! The manicurist paid great attention to detail! My nails look amazing! Gel nails are the BEST!😄👍😄

I came here to get a pedicure and they did a very good job and the service is really good too. And the credit card machine works very well! Helps me to pay and get my receipt fast.

I keep trying to give this place a chance because the lady that owns it is lovely. Unfortunately, it just hasnt measured up.Poor selection, drawing blood with cuts, and dishonest charging of services.I do powder manicures. They have a large selection of color samples to look through, but in actuality only have a handful of colors in stock.Specifically stated I wanted the basic pedicure which states it includes pumice scrub. He had had the pumice stone in hand and I asked for it on my heels but nowhere else. Pedicurist switched pumice stone for cheese grater (are these even legal in AZ salons?). He didnt ask me before doing this and didnt tell or show me that this was an upcharge until it was time to pay at the end.They then cut my toe after I had asked 4 times for them to put the clippers down, as I dont ever allow them used on me.

I have never left a review on a place before. But I was so horrified by the service I received I felt I had too. the staff didnt seem to pay any attention to what they were doing. The lady who was doing my pedicure cut my twice. Then when I finally went to pay she informed me their credit card machine was down. So I had to walk to the Safeway to use the ATM (and pay a fee) to get money out to pay. If your machine is down, fine. But warn customers. Will never return.

Very clean and comfortable pedicure. They use a disposable liner in the foot bath so you know its clean. They also use citrus juice on your feet and legs that leaves them smelling very fresh. I would recommend this place.

Great ladies who got me and my daughter in immediately. I am not from AZ and I know nail salons are hit or miss. This was a hit!

Horrible customer service and terrible work. Annie seemed like I was a worthless customer. Her work looks awful. It seemed like she never applied nail polish before. Once she learned I wasnt going to spend the extra money for gel she was in a terrible mood and was rough and careless. Im on vacation and wanted my nails to look nice. It looks like my 9 year old did it. Never going back.

To those that are unhappy about her not having tables, she can do your nails on a pillow, which I dont see the problem with. If you were to get a mani-pedi at any other nail salon, they would do they exact same thing.I loved my gel manicure with she. She does amazing work and fixed my broken nail. While she might not have the fanciest or ideal space, she definitely does nails better than the rest of the nail salons in (trust me, I have tried them all).

Loved it here! They put warm towels over your legs and they rubbed fruit slices on them. I also really appreciate that they use disposable liners!

Everyone has a nail place and this has become my nail place. I have had many different manicurists and they have all done a great job. Everything is clean, the staff is friendly, and the selection is great. They have standard polish, gel polish, SNS (dipping), and probably a lot of other things Im not aware of. This place is very good. I am able to accommodate my previous appointment to an hour later with my friend no problem.Good spot!!!

Went to get my gel manicure off and just a simple manicure done and had to go home to do my own nails. They left color on still, didnt file or buff my nails and as soon as I got to my car I had to pull a hang nail. I will never go there again. Save ur money

Love Charlie Nails! Always clean, friendly and eager to please. Im very picky about my manicure and they bent over backwards to get it the way I like it. Now its perfect every time thanks to Hanny. Ive been coming here for 6 years and most of the customers have been coming here longer than me. That woman who had a bad experience and said she paid $71 and looked like it was done by a child, should have spoken up and they would have fixed her issue.

I have been going to Hanny since 2009. She does exactly what I want. In fact she does my manicures and pedicures better than the Red Door.

Very rude kicked me out of my seat when another customer came who requested my manicurist. Second manicurist tried to start my manicure with tools that were not packaged and sealed like the first manicurist who kicked me out. When i questioned her as to why her tools were not in packaging like the first lady she said they are clean (they were in a plastic box) I walked out without a manicure as i was appalled.

I dont go anywhere else. I love the customer service and the quality work these ladies do. My nails get compliments wherever I go! Im a customer for life!

They took our group of 6 right away! Very friendly, fast and great job! Will definitely be returning!

I wish I could give a couple more stars because this wasn’t the nail techs fault, the gel polish was defective, she offered to fix them, but when I asked to just keep them clear she put the same color back on and it was still defective. They offered me a $15.00 gift certificate, but my service was $53.00 for a gel mani and a pedicure without polish. I will not be returning :/

Worst nail experience ever DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT come to this place they are dishonest charging of services and do a horrible job what regular manicure is 38$ no where they argued with me about filing and cleaning my toes nails it’s clearly listed as a service in the pedicure then they don’t even shape my nails right and the polish put on was just horrible I will never go back I got a basic mani pedi how was it 46$

She cut me twice.... on two different fingers. An they look awful.. not shiny an clean but bubblt an blotchy......

Really bad customer service. They didn’t paint my nails correct and they still expected a tip. I had forgotten my sandals and she left them outside for me and left them on the ground instead of handing them to me. Will never do back they’re really rude.
