Highly highly recommend! He was incredibly kind and programmed 2 new keys for our Land Rover today. He made sure everything was done and in perfect working order before we drove away. I just purchased a car for my son and needed another key. I was able to obtain a generic FOB. I called several locksmiths in the area that had good reviews. Most wanted over $200 to cut and program the FOB and nevermind what the dealerships want. I found Alcatraz Locksmith on Yelp and reached out to the owner Todd. Well, in a nutshell, Todd was awesome and had a flat fee of $40 for cutting the key and $50 for standard programming, if you can meet at his place of business. I highly recommend Todd for all your locksmith needs.

I called Todd needing a key made for a car that was going to my nephew. I had made a few calls to a couple other auto locksmith companies and ironically, two of them referred me to Todd. I had not seen the car before and was told it was a 1989, which later I found out in person it was actually a 1998 on the title. Despite Todds work truck being in the shop for repairs, he still came out at the appt time on time. When he got to the house with the car, it turns out there actually was a key for it but was not programmed. Ist ride on my new to me bike. I was showing off the ease of having a Givi trunk to put my stuff in when I was done for the day. The trunk automatically locked and the keys were in my safely stored leather. Todd showed up when he said he would and spent a couple hours working on the security lock. I had called the manufacturer for some guidance and he gave the job a low chance of succeeding. Todd won and the price was fair.

If I could give Todd 10 stars, I would! He made time at a busy time of the year to come fix the lock on my 2004 Honda Accord. No other locksmith in the area would even try to fix it. Because the lock was broken, my automatic locks werent working and I had no other manual lock on my car, there was no other way for me to get into my car and so my car was not drive-able. He came to me to fix it for that reason. Even though it was an extremely difficult procedure to perform for various reasons (one of them being that my car battery was dead and he jump started it for me in order to perform the procedure), he did not charge me more than his original quote. He was friendly, easy to work with, and super knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who needs a good locksmith. He also took time to let me know that from the look of the lock someone had tried to break into my car just so I would be aware of that. Talk about someone who cares! He is the best. :)

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I can’t say enough about this business. They really got my out of a bind quickly. I have a Toyota with a chip system. The dealership wanted over $500 to reprogram a new key. Alcatraz was able to do it for a very reasonable price and went directly to my vehicle, so no hassle with booking appts and getting the vehicle to the dealership. Such prompt service too. I have an old 1990 Dodge Ramcharger and the key I got for the rear hatch from the guy I bought it from did not work. I called Todd and told him what I had and he instantly knew the car and they type of key it needed. I brought the truck to him and showed him what I had and he immediately knew I had the wrong key. He looked at the lock and guessed at the key number I needed; after getting the lock cylinder out of the rear hatch and looking up the code on the lock, the key he guessed was the right key. He cut it for me and it worked like a charm! I was only there for about 30 minutes. Great service and great knowledge. Thanks for the help.

Exceptional service. Responded immediately to my text for service. Came out the next day and repaired my door handle and also adjusted the door so it would no longer stick. He would call me when he was driving between jobs. After several phone calls back and forth between us, he walked me through how to program them. This in spite of the fact that the instructions I got to program them from the manufacturer was wrong.

Todd is an amazing person, he works magic with any type of vehicle you need! He helped my husband and I with our motercycle after the key broke off in the ignition. A big commercial shop was tring to charge us an arm and a leg however, Todd did it for 1/5th of the price in a quarter of the time. If this I ever need a locksmith...he will be the one I call.

I locked my keys in my home and had a Dr. appointment and that I should be done and back home by a certain time. Recently I had an issue with my Honda Odysseys ignition, called Alcatraz Locksmith, spoke with Todd, he knew right away what the problem was, he was very knowledgeable about the problem I was having. Upon his visit, fixing the problem seem to come very easy to him, he did it efficient and in a timely manner. The cost was half the cost of other quotes that I had received. I would definitely use him in the future, and recommend him to anyone.

After I locked myself out of my condo, I was lucky enough to find Todd and Alcatraz Locksmith. He was able to open the door in a flash, re-keyed both of my doors (which I was planning on doing anyway as they had not been changed since I moved), and stuck to his estimate!
