If I could give zero stars, I would. NEVER NEVER take annyone you love to the Core Institute. They really hurt my mom during a procedure, the anesthesia didnt work and she yelled for the whole procedure and the doctor never stopped. The pain in her leg got worse and she couldnt really walk. I called and my mom called and no doctor ever returned our calls. When I called to complain, I was put on hold for more than 15 minutes. Guess they didnt want to hear what I had to say.
This review is for Tyler Fiene who had shoulder surgery 3/8/18. Dr was wonderful.yesterday. He had a very long surgery schedule yesterday but you would never know it. He treated us like we were his only patient. And Dr. H the anesthesiologist was so wonderful, patient and detail oriented. Staff at the Surgery Center were so attentive and kind. And again although I was the last patient I couldnt tell. Thank you all.
Dr. Nguyen was very helpful! He is very good at what he does, he explained every thing in a way that I could understand and he made me feel very comfortable in his hands. I think he cares about his patients and has a great bed side manner. My surgery went well and I am on my way to recovery. I am very greatful to have him as my surgeon and I would recommend him to family and friends. 😊
The Core Institute is the worst place to go if you are looking for decent patient service. We have SEVEN phone calls into this place over the course of four days without one single return call. The last call we made, we specifically asked not to be left to someone’s voice mail and guess what? Sent right to voice mail. Very poor for a medical group that advertises they are THERE FOR THEIR PATIENTS!! Go somewhere else and avoid the stress of this place.
Dr Nguyen is an amazing doctor and overall person who truly cares. He had me in surgery the next day due to a torn flipped meniscus. I was in so much pain and my knee was locked . The day after surgery I felt 100 percent better. Thank you Dr Nguyen and your staff at the Core Institute
Surgery went fine, even though only spoke with the Doc no more than 10 mins total time before going under the knife. I know they are busy people but just felt like this is it...Post surgery, never got a courtesy call the day after surgery to check up from Dr. Nguyens office. Also left 10+ messages for prescription refill and other post surgery questions the immediate days following my surgery and my phone calls were not returned promptly and sometimes not at all. Only able to get a ahold of the overnight on call doc who cant write pain med prescriptions. Just felt forgotten about.Bottom line, Tony Nguyen will do your surgery just fine, he is not particularly the issue, but someone needs to be there for post op patients. It seems starting the minute you leave the the surgery room you are forgotten for 10 days until your follow up. Must be more about numbers than quality care with the core institute.
Personable Dr. and does great work...however, after surgery youre left hanging with no proper medication, a lousy team that doesnt return phone calls, and no followup after surgery. Make sure youre VERY aggressive in requesting medication to take home (shoulder surgery) because you will be suicidal in pain! Also, make sure to ask for a nerve block because it will really help offset the pain! The Core Institute was a very frustrating experience.
He took the time to help my daughter on a very difficult day. She had ACL two years ago, now she tore the other knee. He took his time with us, guided us to MRI same day. Then took the time to read MRI and call us with the news, even though bad- how may doctors these day take that kind of interest. Thanks for caring for my daughter-
Unfortunately this doctor did not want to listen to anything that I had to say about my condition
