My original review was posted a month ago on the Phoenix Frontier gate checking employees that we encountered. A family friend is a flight attendant and mentioned gate agents are hired through this company. Here is my original review.Booked Frontier for our first flight booking/family vacation. I am throughly disgusted and upset by the experience we have had. With this being our first trip ever, we called before our departure to check if we needed the checked bag fee for a child hiking carrier. We were told by two people in customer service that it would not be necessary. On both flights we explained to the ticket agent and both times were argued with very rudely. Rachel (somehow a supervisor) in PHX was immediately combative to the point her subordinates were even uncomfortable. Anyone in a manager position should NEVER make a customer uncomfortable the way she did. We felt abused. A calm talk through a customer complaint is something that should be in your training. It is also comical that they leave notes in our account such as customer stated he will never fly with us again. Which Rachel read out loud to us from our previous check in in DEN. She wouldnt even give her name so I had to ask another employee who would only provide first name even though full names are on the nametags.. which Rachel intentionally covered hers after asking, so we could report to her supervisor. Also witnessed her arguing with another flyer at the gate. I hope no one else has to deal with such a horrible person. I wish I would have recorded her argument with me. It was unbelievable. Truly disappointing. Rachel is the blonde in the photo below.It is worth noting that the pilots and the flight attendants were fine.
