I have lived here for a few month now and my girlfriend and I love it! Everything has been great from the day we toured to now!The leasing team is amazing! Scott, Jeana and Miah are always up to help! Even when theyre busy they find ways to help you and tour needs. The maintenance team as well does so much! They usually get work orders done right away but even when theyre super slammed they communicate with me they havent forgotten about us! The whole team here will not let you down.You have access to both properties so thats really nice! I love using the pool table across the street at illuminate and and enjoying the pools at both properties now that the temperature is warming up! Having access to two gyms is nice especially when one is a little to crowded in my opinion.Overall both properties are great to live at. You get an amazing team and location! Living downtown comes with everything you have restaurants and bars all around you. I love music so I dont mind when I hear it while walking around my community from local restaurants/bars or first Friday because thats what comes with the area and I personally love it. I love this community and everything is has to offer. Couldnt be happier here.

Lived here for 2 years and loved it - no major complaints other than occasional noise (as with any apt near busy bars/restaurants) and occasional elevator maintenance. Clean, great parking situation, awesome location and responsive & friendly office & maintenance staff.

- Very good experience over all -We lived here for 7 weeks and we had a great experience with no issues, we had some trouble in our apartment that were fixed right away. The place was clean (halls, common areas), they have a coffee machine where the hot chocolate was our little adiction. The location is just amazing the city had 2 events right downstairs so we were able to go out of the building and enjoy without worrying about parking. The noise can get bad some nights but is not very often and didnt bother our toddler at all so I am happy with it. You can enjoy very good views too.

Luxury does not exist at Linear!If you want to live in a luxury building thats over half rented out and advertised as a hotel (see Stay Alfred Linear site n review); if you like the property mngr. ignoring your emails or requests for upkeep/maintenance that was agreed are acceptable requests, you enjoy micro-managing property mngr. or leasing staff having to ask repeatedly for what they had said in writing and verbally will be done but never is or you have to report them to the city for violations; then Linear is your place!-If you are from one of the 4 major U.S. cities AND you know of true and actual luxury living, and used to staff and mgmt. that are professional, courteous and know problem solving and actually follow through on their word (they actually have integrity) then Linear or Baron Property Mgmt. is not going meet nor exceed expectations and you will be disappointed here. They hired a good ad agency or copywriter to write their website and ads which they cant back up or make true with the actual acts or services rendered. The staff apparently never experienced or toured a luxury building or understand the high level of customer service, cleanliness and amenities that are provided in buildings that live up to the assertion of luxury. They simply cant provide a higher lever of service or standards that match what is claimed to be here. It simply isnt within them and they arent interested in learning to elevate the place to what it claims to be.-Website claims unmatched amenities. That is laughable. All you need to do is tour other buildings in the area see that other places provide A LOT more included in the rent and have better amenities.-For over 2 years now there has been an ongoing issue of dog owning renters leaving dog feces around the property and directly outside my unit. Often leaving the outside smelling of dog poo and is gross to see as you walk by or are on the patio. They are in the heart of First Fridays and potential future renters walk by and see this. I have even heard passer-bys comment on how nasty it is here.-There is a big collection of pigeon poo right outside the resident entrance and when asked why it hasnt been addressed after asking many times for it to be taken care of I was told they have done all they can do, which is false because they failed to install bird spikes above as done in other areas. This is the type of representation of the building/property that Linear/B.P.M. is ok with and how they like to represent themselves.-No 24 hour concierge or office staff is available.-Club house-lobby-gym is always dirty.-No security other than few cameras - dont even cover the entire premises/lot/building.-Ineffective mgmt. with NO communication, problem solving or conflict resolution skills and no interest in trying to be better at what they do.-Staff, Owner/C-Suite with superiority complexes and good enough attitude towards the little action and effort they give. Theres no going above and beyond to meet or exceed expectations here (expectations they had acknowledged were reasonable when asked). It is not within them sadly. And the capacity to be transparent, honest and earnest is non existent.-Leasing staff who will tell you what you want to hear and never properly follow up, and then when asked why nothing gets done they get defensive and tell you that you are the problem when all you are doing is attempting to hold them accountable to what was agreed to prior.-Cheap building construction, cheap finishes, cheap hardware. They claim to be LEED Cert. yet bathroom faucet is not proper size or installed wrong so you have to have water at full blast in order to not run all over the counter top. Closet doors fall off track every time.-Unkept, dead & missing landscaping and told it would be replaced. Never happened.-Transient due to renting units as a hotel. I had several issues with guests camped out, passed out on my patio or trying to open my door at all hours of night due to intoxication or not smart enough to know what they are doing.NOT Luxury at Linear!

No one even asked me to write a review but I want to because I loved living here so much. Its super clean (cleaning staff comes every morning and are really nice) the management is very responsive and friendly, in fact I have come to consider them friends, and maintenance crew is awesome. They even helped me jump my car when thats not their responsibility. Before I moved in I read reviews that say the walls are thin and courtyard is loud but I have literally never experienced that, and I live in one of the courtyard units. Ive become friends with both tenants on either side of me and they agree we cant hear each other, so idk what those past reviews are about? Tons of indoor parking spaces so thats never a problem. Location is in the middle of all the cool places downtown. Seriously cant think of anything I dont like about Linear, Im only moving because Im expanding my family and need an actual house.

I just relocated to the Phoenix area and moving is STRESSFUL. Luckily, the Linear team made it so seamless! I was nervous to sign a lease with a place hat I had only toured virtually, but Linear is everything that it seemed and then some. The building is clean and beautiful and the management team is amazing. I worked with Ara - shes great at what she does, professional, and happy to help. Love getting to call this place home!

Lived here for a couple years and only have good things to say. The location is ideal, management (Jeana and Scott) have promptly and professionally resolved anything that has ever come up, and the maintenance staff has completed each of my requests within 24 hours. Rooftop lounge is amazing for throwing a party. Clubhouse and gym are always clean and orderly. Having an underground garage in this part of downtown is a huge bonus. Linear has been great to me 5/5.

Best place Ive lived. Management was phenomenal, the location was superb, and the maintenance staff was quick and extremely helpful. The rooms are set up with enough space to entertain and to feel comfortable alone. 10/10 would suggest renting here.

Ive lived here for a few months and Im disappointed.- Its very loud. Yes the location is great but they took no steps to soundproof the apartments. My apartment faces the courtyard and I can hear people talking in the courtyard at all hours and any noise from the surrounding bars and alley.- Its rented out as a hotel! They did NOT tell me this when I was looking at the property. When I asked about it they said how did you find out? are you kidding? Its frustrating to have vacationers constantly coming and going. No sense of community and absolutely contributes to the noise. I always feel unsafe and uneasy knowing literally anyone could be in the parking garage, hallways, common areas. Their cleaning service is also very loud.

Linear has a great team of professionals who are truly connected to not only the needs of the residents but the downtown community as a whole. I have had great interaction with residents and love the amenities which are great for photo/video content creation and also having a good time with loved ones! :)

The only thing great about these apartments is the prime location. There is rarely any staff at the office as theyre across the street at their other property. No one to accept packages. When there is someone there in a blue moon, it takes days before we can pick up our package since no one is there. Trust me, i go down to the office an average of 4 times each time trying to pick up our packages. Empty units are rented out as an Airbnb on Stay Alfred. When asked they ensured it was corporate housing. Do not like the fact that they train their staff to lie to us. Whatever it is, they need to take special measures. These guests are taking over all of the parking garages and at times we have to park on the street. Spoke to the MANY people coming in and out, definitely not here for business. No one ever replies to emails promptly. Its always my email has been down.... In summary, location is prime. If you are okay with an ever disappearing staff, non-existent office hours, extreme delayed responses then move in. This was not what they advertise when they first opened.

My vehicle has been broken into twice in less than a year. There is 1-2 homeless people who squat outside of the complex in the alley way every weekend to wash their clothes using the faucet outside of the building across from the complex. The floor I live on constantly smells like Marijuana in the evenings. I have tried filing complaints about this on numerous occasions and it continues to occur, yet they claim to be a crime free / smoke free property. I have to call up to 4 times in a day just to try to reach someone over the phone to pay my rent. If you have a concession you cannot pay your rent online until the concession runs out. You either have to pay in person, or over the phone. These are just a few of the issues that I have experienced in the last 9 months. I would not recommend living here. Mark Taylors property was much cleaner, with much more professional staff.

I was a part of this community for a little over a year and it was the best apartment Ive ever lived in! Its located right in the middle of downtown Phoenix, and everything I needed was within 1 mile. The apartments themselves are sleek and contemporary and the staff are amazing! Scott, the property manager, and all supporting staff are exceptionally attentive and helpful, and they plan events throughout the year for the residents (wine tastings, Taco Tuesdays, smores, etc.) Being a resident in the building you also get neighborhood discounts to places such as Paz Cantina - a lively spot that hosts events a block away! I honestly wish I could have taken this building and transported it with me when I moved away, I highly doubt Ill ever find a place as great at this one!

Beautiful development in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Love all of the amenities, events, security of the building. Perfect balance of peaceful, modern living. And the property management is wonderful :)

I am so excited about all the change in Downtown Phoenix. You need to stop by and look at the new Urban Apartments named Linear. There isnt anything like them in Phoenix.

Its really exciting to see the growth in downtown Phoenix and with the addition of Linear Apartments, its an even more desirable place to reside. This community is stunning and you cant beat the location!

[Updated 8/2/19, after having lived here for one year]UPDATE: (August 2019):We decided to renew our lease at Linear after our first year, and it was really a no-brainer. The staff is always present, and still responds quickly to emails and calls. They try their best to put on several community events a month at Linear and its sister property, Illuminate. We have only had a few minor maintenance issues in our first year—nothing serious, and nothing that the maintenance folks couldnt fix quickly and efficiently. Neighbors can be loud at times, but overall its a quieter property than other complexes I have lived in. One thing to note that I didnt fully realize in 2018 was that certain rooms on certain floors are rented out as hotel rooms by a third party company, Stay Alfred. Weve stayed with Stay Alfred in other cities and can confirm that its an excellent experience; however, when tourists and out-of-town guests constantly cycle in and out of your apartment complex, using the pool and other facilities, it can be annoying. Overall, the Stay Alfred aspect is tolerable. The building is still as secure-feeling as ever (no instances of car break-ins or other criminal activity that I can recall). As of August 2019, I believe that Linear is almost at full occupancy. Thats a good thing! People like it here, and rent is still less than neighboring properties that are also fully occupied. Obviously, living on Roosevelt St. has its perks, being so close to the light rail, great coffee shops, bars, and restaurants, art and culture, ASU Downtown, and the rest of downtown. In fact, within the past year, Arizona Wilderness Brewery opened a second location right next door, and Punch Bowl Social, a Dave-&-Busters-like establishment, is allegedly opening later this year in the other section of our block. Lots of exciting stuff happening here!Overall, this has been the best apartment experience that my wife and I have ever had. We cannot recommend Linear enough. Just to say we have had close to ZERO issues or problems in a YEAR is a testament to the excellent job the staff does.Original review (July 2018):Ok, listen. Before you read any more of this review, why are you even reading apartment reviews on Google? Almost every single complex has a terrible rating because everybody has problems with their apartment. Once you get past all the fake reviews (usually the ones that gush about specific people in the office), you’re left with nothing useful. Bottom line: you’ll never find a perfect property. That being said, when my wife and I were touring all of the major apartments in downtown Phoenix, we were the most impressed with Linear. It’s a three-year-old building. It’s attractive. There’s a workout facility and garage parking, as well as a 2nd floor rooftop pool and outdoor courtyard. It’s got most of the bells and whistles all of the other places downtown can offer you. For my wife and I, Linear gave us all of those things at the right price. Honestly, what sold us the most is the staffs professionalism. We wanted a very specific apartment cabinet color and layout, and the staff communicated with us long-distance for weeks and weeks in advance of our move. They bent over backwards to get us the exact apartment we wanted. Move-in was hassle-free, and the apartment had just a few tiny issues upon inspection.I have zero complaints, which really is rare - I’ve had crummy apartment/rental experiences in the past. Linear didn’t ask me to write this review, and I’m not doing it for any other reason than to let everyone searching for an apartment here to give them a shot.

Linear is a new, upbeat community located in the heart of Roosevelt Row. The resident experience here cant be beat - walking distance to everything and the staff is amazing.
