I did not have a great experience living here. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere before setting your heart on moving in here. The neighbors are not friendly, I’ve had several scary encounters with certain neighbors and when reported nothing was done. When we were moving in, we were told a fenced in area on the grass was going to be installed for the dogs, and after a full year of living there nothing happened. Be weary of false promises being made when being shown around, they will say anything to convince you to live there. I should have known better. These are not luxurious apartments (as advertised) however just quickly renovated apartments, that have A LOT of issues. Everything breaks, and the appliances do not work well either. The only positive about living at inhabit was my experience with Nate, who works in maintenance. He was always extremely helpful, and when he fixed something it stayed fixed, and did not break. Unlike previous people who came from maintenance.Save your money, and look on Facebook marketplace for better apartment options. Learn from my mistakes, because I did!
Mold!Water damaged building not properly renovated. Unit smelled musty and eventually started leaking into downstairs neighbor. Advised office of mold concern and they had sent in an employee who performed no testing, just a visual inspection then stated there was no way mold could grow in the unit. I hired a mold testing company to come inspect the unit, turns out there were two types of toxic mold growing and one additional type of mold which I was allergic to. I have suffered harsh health implications and my breathing has become terrible now after living here for only two months. Staff showed no consideration and after sending them my doctors documents as well as the mold testing companys results, they still continue to treat me disrespectfully and act like I am lying to them. Be careful with moving into this location especially if you are mold sensitive.
We have been living here since january of this year and we absolutely love it. for our first apartment, it is the perfect place. bars are close by, so many food options around, at the complex itself is great and safe. everything is always kept clean and the staff is awesome at communicating with you. i would definitely recommend this place to an individual/young couple.
I love living here. The apartments are great. All of the staff are responsive and genuine. I have no plans to leave, unless I purchase a home.
This is a perfect location for us! My puppies love the grass and the neighborhood. Many delicious and exciting restaurants recently built within walking distance. The apartments are cute and the management is very helpful. I have had a wonderful experience living here and have had no issues with my apartment or reliability of the management.
Do not be fooled by The newly renovated looks. This apartment is very old. The problems that usually happen with old apartments happen here. I had mold in my apartment which was never properly addressed. Toxic mold! I had my ceiling collapse in due to water damage (pics below are after they fixed it. There was a roof leak. The apartment smelled like mold and cigarettes. There are weird creepy neighbors. It is loud at night and early morning. Krystal at the front is nice and is the only positive thing the apartment has going for it. They mustve hired her to help hide the horrible truth.
I have lived in this apartment for almost a year now. I love my apartment and I am planning on renewing when my renewal time arrives. I love living in this area, as there are tons of stores, bars and grocery stores all very close by. My work orders are taken care of very quickly and the staff is great.
This place is excellent. If you are looking for a key location well look no further. You ate in a prime area for a young vibrant crowd with plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance. No driving needed. Did I mention a Starbucks and bashas are right behind us? 5 stars
This location is everything! Its surrounded by nothing but city life and restaurants. It is perfect for those who dont want to drive drunk and yet still have a good time on foot or in a Uber!
This place is dirty and old. 54 years old to be exact. It smells musty and like smoke. Neighbors are creepy. Can hear the loud dumpster at 4 am. Heat and plumbing constantly being turned off and “repaired”. Would not recommend to anyone
Recently renovated, a lot of corners were skipped. I moved in just prior to renovations with the plan of moving into a renovated unit as soon as they were done. I was told over and over they were renovation down to the studs. That was a lie. They left the popcorn ceiling, left the old doors that have been painted over numerous times. Left the sliding glass doors, the shelving in the bedroom closet, the wood paneling. There are three different baseboards used throughout the apartment. Ive made numerous requests to have my sliding glass door fixed, a brand new kitchen drawer fixed and nothing. Ive had plumbing leaks: a seal was bent in my brand new toilet which caused it to leak daily for over a month. So bad that water leaked under my wall by the toilet all the way to where my bathroom vanity was. It caused discoloring of the baseboards and the laminate floors to lift and curl. Half the electricity in my apartment went out and I had to take a day off work for an electrician to come in and fix it. I was without electricity in my living room, bathroom and one wall of my bedroom for a week. And now I have rats. Oh! I have termites too. Ive had rats since august. They keep coming back. Ive caught 4 in traps and two fell into my trash can. Most recently, I was told the droppings Im finding all over my counter every single day arent mice. But they couldnt tell me what they were. On and I found droppings in my toaster. Which I use every single day. I have to wipe my kitchen counters down with bleach wipes every single day. This issue is is property wide. My neighbors all have issues. People in other buildings have issues. But Im told they dont have a rat problem. I communicate with the office daily and am tired of keeping my cool. Im at my wits end. Ive never been offered free rent, Ive asked multiple times to be let out of my lease and nothing. Theyve offered to transfer me to another unit (not even another property in a different location), but thats not until April and frankly I dont want to live in that unit. It has water damage! And I dont like the neighbors. At least one specific neighbor.
10/16/19 new Review. New management is awesome and my work orders are always completed in a timely manner. Thank you for the best service ever!Currently living here; location is Amazing, Price is amazing. However office hours are not always right. Before moving in I came to the office on a Friday at 5:30pm and no one was there. My understanding was 10am-6pm. It’s was very upsetting because I work In Mesa so I had to rush to the office only to find out NO ONE WAS THERE!Most recent problem is, my AC isn’t working and it’s 110 right now and prob going to continue to get hotter. I submitted a work order to get it fixed and they are working on it. Not as fast as I would like but i am patient. I have been staying with a friend who has AC meanwhile; today I drove back to the apartment at 6am only to find out I was completely locked out of my apartment. The keys that were provided to me only worked for the bottom lock and not the top lock. Who ever came to my apartment locked both locks and now I am locked out of my OWN apartment. I had to be at work by 8am and had to call out of work due to this.I called the non emergency line and someone came out 45 mins later only to tell me “Krystal has the keys so I can’t don anything, she will be here at 9am”I gave up and decided to go somewhere with AC. It’s 9:52am and I havnt got a call back from Krystal. Once it’s 10am I’ll be heading to office. This very unprofessional and inconvenient that I had to take off work due to this. I hope Inhabit does something to make up for this as I have been paying on time. Following rules and being a good CustomerUpdate 7-18-19Received a call from Krystal at 9:05am regarding this review. Advised to me business hours and informed me that sometime she leaves the office early to go to other office manager by same company. That’s fine; however as a customer how am I suppose to know... was very argument and talked over me.OVERALL I NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY NOR A CALLBACK FROM BEING LOCKED OUT OF MY APARTMENTBUT I GOT A CALLBACK FROM A BAD REVEIW.... I would appreciate a call back from someone beside Krystal.Thank you Inhabit on 7th
Inhabit on 7th is affordably priced and in an area with a lot to do around it. Krystal was very helpful in aiding my move in all the way from Montana! Baron has been great during both my stays with them (I was at Iluminate downtown for 6 months). I highly recommend leasing with any of Baron’s properties.
Krystal is awesome! She is smart and efficient - she found my son and amazing studio apartment!
If you have nothing good to say about something its best not to say anythingI wish I could apply that rule to this placeBut I think it will be incredibly unfair not to warn others of the horrible experience my family and I went through in this apartment complexThis place is a pig with A LOT of makeup.Dont be fooled by the little model in blue and orange they show you with All the knickknacks is far from the reality of the rest of the upgraded apartments done in a rush by amateurs.NO AIR CONDITIONERbut a chiller system that they controlIn summer is hot and saggy and in winter they switch to warm whenever they they please. Even if you dont want your apartment warm it will get incredibly warm because the pipes run on top of your ceiling and no matter what you do it will be hot VERY HOTYou will be told to you open your windows and turn your fans onThere is a bar next-door with grouchy people at all hours of the night or teenagers in very noisy and loud Muppets on the parking lotDrug addicts making deals on the parking lot because there isnt any security. The apartments on the back are still in inhabited by questionable characters.I can go on and on. The worst part is that when we left we were charged an obscene amount of money even though we tried to leave the place in decent shape. The manager Ricky is the only positive note he actually always was professional and respectful but the bottom line this place is a nightmare for the amount of money they want for the apartments there you could actually get something really nice do your homework do yourself a favor dont fall for these horrible trap.nothing but a pig with a lot of make up
