Always a good experience at photo lounge. They have a very fast turnaround time, the workers are always friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are reasonable. The best part is getting your scans within 24 hours.

Cannot recommend Photolounge enough for their professionalism, speed, customer service, and more. The team at Photolounge really care about photography and people in general and it shows. As someone who shoots film photography a lot, I’ve never had an issue with them developing and scanning my film. 100% the best photo lab i’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with

Was looking to print some wedding photos and was referred to the Photo Lounge. We went into the store initially not realizing we could have placed the entire order online, however when we went inside, the employee behind the desk was very friendly and helpful and showed us an example of the type of paper that would make the photos look their best. We placed the order online by simply uploading the photos using their website, and they were ready very fast. We ordered Friday near their closing time, and their courier delivered to our house Saturday morning. Their courier delivers within a 3 mile radius of the store on Wednesdays or Saturdays. Otherwise you can pick them up in store or they will mail them out to you. The pictures came out so beautiful and Im very pleased with the overall experience. I will definitely be using their services again!

I just had the most off-putting customer service experience I can remember. I was dropping off a roll of a slow speed daylight-rated specialty film and looking to buy a roll or two of Ektar 100 in 120. The clerk asked a lot of strange questions about the photos on the roll I wanted processed after I asked about Ektar 100, which he said they didnt have. Rather than a reasonable replacement (Portra 160 maybe?), he kept asking if I was going to shoot in the sun, asking more questions about photos Ive taken, and pushing more of the specialty film until I mentioned that the roll I wanted processed was the first time I had used it and would rather see the negatives before buying more. He then, in the most condescending manner, said he was just making sure I wasnt using slow film in a dark room. Sure, typed out it doesnt seem like a terrible experience but it felt as though hed rather flex his photo nuts than like, retain customers. I ended up taking my film to be processed somewhere else.

I have had an amazing experience at Photo Lounge. The staff and owner are attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. In addition to this, the photos I order come out incredibly clear (much better quality than CVS). This is now the only place I go to for photos!

Nick became my “brotha from anotha motha!” after being so helpful. I am from Washington state visiting for work and needed a couple rolls of black and white film. Without hesitation, Nick recommended some film I hadn’t tried and kept friendly insightful discourse the entire time. Before he helped me, he was assisting an elderly gentleman with an important project. I was impressed with the thought and care he put into this man’s needs, making sure he was happy and squared away just like myself! I will definitely be back if I return to the area again. And for you folks local to Philly, this should be your shop for life.

Very charming guy helped me out today. Wonderful service. I didnt recognize the bike courier that worked with them and thought I was allowed to go in (I wasnt allowed to until they were done with their current customer. They only allow one at a time which is wonderful)They were still very nice to me, patient and explained everything that was going on with the film. Only giving them 4 stars because the last time I was there the lady in the front was very cold and pretentious.

Paid $250 upfront for film developing, I wish I didn’t. 2-3 weeks of processing time with 6 rolls of my film missing (4 620s and 2 126s) and photos from other customer, it is hard to imagine how disorganized they are. I gave them a chance to remedy that but received no reply. This is not how you do business. I will stick with Indie

I never write bad reviews but BOY does this place infuriate me. tried getting some b+w film developed, paid upfront on july 6th, and STILL haven’t received my film. they are super inconsistent with communication. one person says b+w film takes 2 weeks to develop and when it’s been well over 2 weeks, another says their scanner is broken! i know times are rough but just BE HONEST! indie got my b+w film done in 4 days! super unfortunate because i know they’re nice people, just really bad at running a business. anyways, if you need your film developed in a timely fashion, don’t go here

I dropped off two rolls of 35mm black and white film three months ago - after they reopened for COVID, and have been in contact with them every week since. Every week they tell me the film should be done by weeks end. Now they arent even picking up the phone anymore. Terrible customer service, at this point I would just like the rolls of film back and a refund. DO NOT USE PHOTO LOUNGE to get your film developed unless you are willing to wait literal months for a service that typically should take a single week. Quite disappointed, especially given that the payment was upfront - at this point they have both my money and my undeveloped rolls, and I am unable to get in contact with them. Choosing Photo Lounge was an unequivocal mistake, one I will not repeat, and I advise you to do the same.

PhotoLounge was highly recommend. I had a single roll of 35mm developed, scanned and printed, I was seriously disappointed in their services. First- I was sent someone else photos via Dropbox. After they corrected the mistake I was then sent a link that only had 1/2 of my scans. The third link had most of my photos but were completely out of order. Last but not least the physical prints were on the thinnest paper and all negatives were just tossed in an envelope.

I recently had some trouble retrieving my wedding photos from a memory card that was incompatible with the reader I had. I stopped in the photo lounge and they were able to help me out! They let me use their computer/card reader to upload the photos to my google drive, which saved me time and money! Employee Nick was particularly helpful! I will definitely shop there for any future photo needs. Thanks Photo Lounge!

Ive been going to them for a while now and really appreciate the work they do. The staff is always friendly and willing to troubleshoot a problem. This comes in handy a lot since development and uploads tend to be incomplete and some times a little tardy. Having said that this is still my photo place! The prints I have gotten from them are absolutely flawless (I love their 8x10 work).

Initially thought this place would be good, but they have now held videotapes that they were converting to digital for over a month and two weeks overdue without explanation. My follow up calls have elicited a response that the manager will get in touch with me, but that call has not come. There is something wrong here.

Ive never written a review before but now Im writing one because the staff really took the time to help me with something yesterday that saved me a lot of money. This has been a pretty consistent experience for me. Sometimes they have equipment issues & get backed up/overwhelmed, but theyre a small business and I think any unexpected delays are more than made up for by the staffs helpfulness. Sometimes Im like, wow yall could have easily tricked me into spending a lot of money!!! But you didnt!!!!!!!! My scans also always look great, and 99% of the time I get them back the next day. If youre consistently getting 35mm film processed, I really recommend photolounge.
