I worked for Jeff helping him do some snow plowing. Seems like a very honest guy and had a top notch crew of motivated workers. He always picks his phone up, and didnt give me the runaround on payment like some other businesses had in the past. Also, his full-time employee Santos I was paired up with spoke very highly of him.

Jeff was very professional. He showed up each day with a team of polite and dedicated workers. The paver patio he installed came out beautifully. If I had any concerns he addressed them right away.

I admired Jeffs work on several houses in my neighborhood and specifically sought him out to do a big project at my house. He was there twice to take photos and measurements. He never provided us with a quote or a proposal. He is a really nice guy, but given the size of this project, I cant be chasing after my landscaper day after day. A proposal was promised on Monday, it is now Thursday and no proposal. We are moving on.

I scheduled an appointment with Jeff to come give me an estimate. My house is right next to where they’re located. He never called or messaged me and he didn’t show up for the appointment. I tried calling but no answer and no response to my voicemail.

Called this company for an estimate on work for my front yard. The owner came out to my home took measurements, told me he would send me a estimate via email. I never heard from him again. I called and never heard a word from them. If he didntt want to do business with me he could have said it to me clearly. Im a hard working individual I would have gladly paid for his work. So disappointed ......

Hardworking and professional! After unexpectedly having large tree branches come down after a storm nearly missing our home - Jeff and the Hanagan Landscaping crew saved the day! They promptly came out the same day we called. It was not an easy job but they worked quickly and efficiently to resolve the issue. Highly recommend this service for all your lawn care and tree needs!

Called last week and spoke with him to get a quote for leaf removal and other landscaping needs. Said he would stop by the property to check and estimate and would call me that evening. Never called, dont think he ever came by (I was out, adult kids were home). A week later, still hasnt called to reschedule, give quote, apologize, acknowledge he dropped the ball or anything. Tried to get a quote and schedule them last summer too and same thing happened. Wont be calling again; should have read the reviews and not wasted a week of my time.

Jeff came out to look at my property, and was on time and very friendly. My wife and I were very excited about giving him our business. A month and 4 phone calls later, I have yet to receive a quote. Every time I spoke to him he claimed he would have something for me that evening. Nothing ever materialized.

I agree with the woman who commented below. Nice young kid, was late for the appointment and I had to call him, then he was later than he even expected. But I let that go because he seem to be a nice kid. Said he would send me an estimate. It’s been three days and I haven’t heard from him. I don’t expect to wait that long for something. I agree with her he probably doesn’t want the business or need it right now but the courtesy of a phone call or an email would be appreciated. Not good business. Would not recommend.

What a great company. So friendly and on time and FAIR PRICED. So many companies try to sneak in prices or fees. Hanagan is very fair and super friendly. Will do business again!

The owner came out to give us an estimate.He gave us a price for sod in front of house and seeding for our back.He said they could start in beginning of following week.He never showed up!!! He never called and didn t return our calls to him!!!! Jeff Hanagan is the owner! What owner of a good business conducts himself this way. Absolute disgrace.Would never recommend dealing with him!!!

Jeff came out to look at my backyard and seemed professional however, I cannot for the life of my get him to send over an estimate. Its unfortunate because I was ready to hire him. Lack of followup is not the way to gain business. I wonder if Jeff simply doesnt want my business ....if thats the case I would very much appreciate honesty vs. silent treatment. I feel its only fair to give Jeff 3 stars because he was very nice and came out to view the space quickly after my initial contact. Hopefully others have better luck using Hanagan.

We had them put a patio in for us. After several companies said it was to challenging since the only access we have is going through our house we called Hanagan. They assured us it wouldnt be a problem and built us an amazing patio. They went out of their way to make sure out basement stayed clean even with moving all of the pavers through the house.

Overcharged me by taking advantage that my association was about to fine me if I didn’t get my landscape done. Sent a few guys out, to do a fairly small job. Planted shrubs and plants in the wrong locations form what was discussed, filled landscape with a bare minimum of marble rocks. Did horrible and sloppy stone border work leaving mortar and residue all over my sidewalk. I was willing to let it all slide if they came back to take care of it. It’s been months and they have been promising to send someone out to complete/fix the job. Now they just ignore me. Stay away.

Used this company before. They are top notch. I have been in the business for 20+ years and I always look for professional and knowledgeable businesses like mine. These guys are it.

Bad experience with the company. I requested for a quote and the owner came on time to check on the property, took the measurement and promised that he would have an estimate emailed in 2 days. i called them after 4 days since no email from them. i personally texted him with my email again, and he said he would email me the quote again shortly. Its been almost 2 week, and still i havent got any email/ phone calls or any type of communication. I ended up hiring someone else and he promptly finished the project on time.

Very inconsistent and unreliable service, I would only recommend this company if you want to wait around and then do your own lawncare. I do not know how they are in business still.

Came out to view property for an estimate. Over 2 weeks and several phone calls later and I still havent been e-mailed a quote or received any follow-up phone call about the project. Horrible customer service. Definitely would not recommend. Cant expect a good job from someone who blows off a potential client.

Nice guy, cant say nothing bad about his character or punctuality (always called back, showed up and responded to my questions)But after a year, I still have:1. A poor graded front lawn and backyard2. When his crew brought dirt on my property, the dirt was filled with tiny rocks and glass.3. Grass growth hasnt shown any improvement, many patches, moss and weeds are still there.4. Missed an entire section in my backyard.5. Cracked my driveway and recemented the piece poorly. (Its loose and comes out about a half inch above ground.)Not one of the wisest decisions that Ive made since I bought ny house.

We had to have part of our back yard leveled and cleaned up. It was a difficult job as our home is a row and the only access to the back is through an alley. This did not allow for large machinery to be used to dig out the dirt and debris that needed to go. Jeff gave us a fair quote and was here within a week and a half with his crew to get the job done. His crew worked a full day filling buckets to remove all of the dirt and debris. They also removed an old stump. They were friendly and professional. We are very pleased with the result and look forward to working with Jeff again soon to come up with a landscape plan for the space.

Four straight commitments for estimates were not met. Can’t comment on the service because I couldn’t get it.
