Absolutely hands down the best nail salon I’ve been to in Philly! Everyone in the place was so friendly and kind, so quick and talented, and my nails toes and eyebrows are perfect. All for $75!!! Couldn’t praise this place any more

It is always a pleasure to come in here. The technicians are very friendly and skilled at what they do. Price point is reasonable. The shop is very clean and pleasant. After they finish, they give you a lovely little shoulder massage to send you on your way. Honestly, the thing that impresses me the most is how much they remember of what you talked to them about. They take their customers very seriously.

Love this place! Came in on a Saturday was sat down immediately. They had an amazing polish selection and was offered a glass of wine which made the experience so much better. Definitely will be returning.

Ive been coming to S & N and for the last four years and they have been amazing with accommodation, customer service number one is impeccable, the friendly atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the array of gel and regular polish selection that they have with very talented specialist. 2 days after my nails were done with gel . They used to last 2 weeks .☹ are you using cheaper products? 2 days is what a normal manicure should last.

Came in for a gel mani. They have a huge selection of gel colors, which is great, but I picked a light pink Shellac color that had super fine glitter but when she brought it out it was really clumpy and seemed old. I was hesitant but the nail tech said it would look good on the second coat. I gave it a shot. The glitter looked like big chunks and just wasnt quite the same as the fresh coat on the sample. I told her I really didnt like it. They told me theyd do another color but it had to be glitter also. My backup/go to opi color is a glittery one so that was fine, but then they just put it right on top?! She did really go at my cuticles but when I was done I looked at my nails and theres little bits of skin sticking up everywhere, and the polish is all kinds of crooked and one nail even has a line going through it?? I also asked for my nails just a little bit long, and she basically cut them down to the nail beds. I paid with a card and they kept saying they prefer cash, but I dont carry cash on me ever (they give a discount with cash). I asked about leaving a tip on my card and I was told normally we dont do that but this time...ok, Ill do it for you, why am I basically begging to leave you a tip? It says they have an atm inside but I didnt see one. I have a wedding to go to and normally Id be really upset about how bad my nails look but luckily Ive got more important things to do in the next hour. Definitely not coming back though.

Went here based on google reviews and was so happy I did! The staff was so sweet and did a great job on my gel manicure. They offered a free beverage (wine!) to enjoy while youre having your nails done. I like that they put sunscreen on your hands for protection from the UV light. Really happy with my experience here!

This has been my go-to nail salon for almost a year now and they never disappoint!! They truly take their time with manicures and pedicures and offer so many things that other nail salons don’t (hot stone massage, back massage, beverages). They’re all so sweet and gentle with your nails and they also have such a huge selection of colors. Now with Covid you should definitely make an appointment but they usually have some available even short-notice. Definitely give this salon 5 stars!!

Had an appointment for a gel manicure. It was done in 15 minutes, which is not nearly enough time for a full gel manicure. There was next to no manicure involved and my nails barely sat under the light to cure. There is clear polish all over my cuticles and the polish is lumpy and uneven. One of my nails chipped right when I got home from the salon. Would like a refund.

Lovely friendly place! Excellent value for money. Clean, well run, family business with a casual atmosphere. Quick. There are places that can do more precision work but at a much higher price. I like the place, people, feel, and value here and wouldnt go anywhere else. As a nice little extra, each patron gets a glass of wine and a quick massage too.

The best nail salon!!!!! The staff are so wonderful! The massages that they give with each pedicure are amazing and the complimentary glass of wine is a nice touch!

Walked in on a Thursday morning and was immediately taken for a gel manicure. The lovely lady who did my nails was efficient and did a fantastic job. Also loved the complimentary wine and back massage! Would 100% recommend and will return when I’m back in town!

Very unprofessional demeanor amongst the staff. One girl even started talking about the black women who were assaulted in a Brooklyn nail salon and how the staff who worked there were justified in physically assaulting their customers. I wouldn’t waste my money here. I’ve gotten better service for half of the price elsewhere. The staff always acts as if they have something better to do than to service and assist their clients. Very poor service this business shouldn’t exist on south street.

It was me and my boyfriend first time coming here and we will definitely be back! The employees are very nice and welcoming. They pampered us like a king and queen! To top it off they give you free wine and a back massage! Who could ask for anything more!

Absolutely love this place! I moved to Philly 1.5 yrs ago and have been coming here ever since. Always friendly customer service and clean facilities. Very affordable prices as well. I wont go anywhere else for my Mani/pedis!

I went here once and was happy with my gel. It lasted 2+ weeks and it was aGood experience, everyone was nice. (Why I gave it two stars).The second time however, I came back with a friend and we both got gels. Mine started chipping after TWO DAYS. I went back in the following Monday (6 days after my manicure) with 5 nails with major chips and one peeling up around the edges! (I hadn’t picked at them at all.) They refused to fix them and tried to charge me for a new manicure to fix their mistake! When I said I wasn’t going to pay for a second gel manicure in six days, they prettymuch told me I was S.O.L. That whichever polish I had picked (I don’t remember the brand) “sometimes does that in the summer and next time go with OPI for my gel instead”... Quite possibly the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.I checked with my friend and she said her gel manicure was also destroyed by the one week mark. Might as well paint your nails at home with regular polish. It will probably last longer.

This place does nails well, but has bad business practices. I came in here after scheduling an appointment for a Groupon (I found out later that I had scheduled with the place next door, and had walked into the wrong salon), and told them before I sat down that I was there for a Groupon deal I had bought. They told me to have a seat. I got gel a French manicure (which costed a little more than the Groupon, but I was prepared to pay more), and when the services were completed I presented my Groupon to them, they told me they didnt accept Groupons at all. I paid the full amount of the manicure, and was not upset, as I thought it was just a simple miscommunication. However, after leaving and heading to the nail salon I was supposed to use my Groupon at (I had bought one for a friend and luckily we discovered the mistake in time for us to switch), and found out from them that this was not a mistake, but that this business does this frequently: they pretend to accept Groupons, and after the services have been rendered, say they do not accept it anymore and have you pay them the full cost. My nails look great (and the service was excellent), but I cant abide by this kind of practice by any business. Be warned, for what its worth.

I had an appointment with the salon across the street from Groupon but fortunately they dont know how to open their business on time and I decided to go to S&N so happy that I did they are wonderful welcoming and professional prices are decent and yes Im getting a refund of my Groupon voucher.

Theyre very nice they give you a glass of wine if you ask witch my mom loves and while your nails are drying they give you a neck and back message and they do the hot towel and rock message

Fast and friendly! I got a really nice gel mani here.

Waste of money. Got S&N and that night my nail lifted and popped off. The next day another was lifting. I went back and they offered to fix it by adding another coat. Adding another coat will not reattch the false nail to my real nails. I was really upset that i spent 50 dollars for nothing pluse cab rides back and forth so i asked the lady to take them off. Will never return here.

Got a mani, pedi and my eyebrows done. The staff were really polite but seem inexperienced. My nail polish was blochy looking and began peeling the next day. And Im not sure what wax they used on eyebrows, but it gave me a bad rash. Although I must say they did a good job shaping my brows. Overall, the visit was a waste of my money.

Friendly staff and clean environment, but my gel manicure was done on Wednesday and started peeling off by Friday. By Monday 2.5 nails were without polish. Extremely disappointed.

Called out the lady for cursing at me in Korean today. I didnt like their services to begin with, but was so close to work that I could deal with below average. I will never go there again. Beware!

Not recommended. My nails didnt even last 2 hours.
