We really enjoyed the ferry ride from Penns Landing to Camden on a late summer Sunday. We were delighted they allow leashed dogs (at no charge), and theres a discount senior rate. The ride takes about 15 minutes because they do a scenic tour towards the Ben Franklin bridge out and towards the Battleship NJ on the way back. There are 2 levels, but during COVID there are no restrooms or snacks available on the ship. Save the fee and buy your tickets at the booth, but note that the return from Camden is only once an hour.
I love the ride. Dont like boats to much water but this was exciting. On the way back after concert we started singing to the tunes they where playing on broad love it
Left my group of passengers waiting an hour to get across to todays music festival (already in progress). Did not communicate about the delay. Made a final return trip without all passengers aboard. Rude when asked to confirm whether there would be additional trips. The ride was clean and straightforward when we could get aboard.
Very nice ferry ride. Beautiful scenery, clean ferry. Very nice experience
Easiest way to Camden for a show. Ill never drive over the bridge again. Lol
Leaves on time. Tickets are round trip. Horn is very loud! But it was a great experience.
It was relaxing and delightful. It brought back memories,of the past trips, over to Camden.
The most convenient way to the concert venue.
Is currently ONLY running on weekends. Website posted differently. 😒 we were there on a Tuesday.. it really screwed up our plans.
Very peaceful.Nice place to relax and have lunch with friends 👍
Convenient to Camden Waterfront
Cory & Ed are a great resource of info on planted tanks & getting a nice balance to you tank. Great guys to talk to & get fish & plants from not to mention the store itself is clean & organized so you can easily find what you want (or didnt know you wanted till you saw it). Thanks for all the know how & assistance with my tank guys!
I shouldnt even give it one star. Paid $9 for a two way ticket at about 3:00 pm to go see the USS New Jersey I get done and find out the ferry stopped running at 5:00 why nobody bother to tell me or why its not in BIG PRINT is beyond my imagination. Never again. Another thing you cant get a one-way ticket. Thats how money greedy they are also its a No thrill ride straight across the river. Taking NJT bus is $1.80 and you get to see a lot more and they run all day and half the night!
Too Expensive but its cheaper than parking. The ferry runs 30 minutes after the last concert at the BB&T Center. Convenient for Wiggins Park and the NJ Adventure Aquarium. Great for Historic Sightseeing. You can buy a ticket for multiple trips.
Great form of transportation from Philly to Camden. We took the ferry for a concert at BB&T pavilion and everything went off without a hitch. Will definitely use this service if we go to a concert there again.
I went today to the ride the River Link Ferry from Philadelphia and the person that was working there had no idea about the schedule or even the right time, she gave us totally wrong information and made us wait nearly 2 hours for nothing, wasting our time and money. When we asked for information about it she was very rude and addressed us in a very disrespectful way, basically ignoring us. We got to a point where we asked for her manager or superior boss and she didnt even answer. This is a big scam, don’t recommend it,.
If you are staying im Philadelphia and you are seeing a show at the BB&T it is such a great way to get to a show. The view is priceless on a beautiful day or night.
Ive been going on this ferry since i was a baby. Very safe and stable ride. Two levels of optimal views! Best way to get to the aquarium
GREAT service to get to & from the BB&T pavilion or battleship over in Camden from Philly. $9 well spent. Keeps you from having to drive over the bridge & fight traffic into or out of a show.
Cool trip to take across the river. Does a little loop by the battleship or closer to the Ben Franklin bridge depending on which dock you are leaving. Its a short trip, so it might not be a bang for you buck, but its convenient. Departure times are every hour, but seem a bit limited. And it stops running shortly after summer is over.
This used to be our preferred way into Philly. We would park at the Aquarium where parking is only $5 for members then take the ferry when it was $6 a person. The total was still less than the bridge ($5) and parking which could be as much as $25.Unfortunately, the ferry price has been raised to $9 a person. This makes it closer to break even for three. The only other issue I have is that this is meant to be a tourist thing. The ferry does not go straight across, it meanders down past the battleship on the way from Camden to Philly and ducks under the Walt Whitman Bridge when going from Philly to back to Camden. With all that said, if you are visiting the aquarium with children, this can be a great way of popping over and taking a quick tour of Philadelphia without having to drive. Strollers are no problem and it drops you at Penns Landing where there are always things to see.
This is a cheap way to get to New Jersey and its not crowded with some of the best views of downtown Philadelphia and the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Quick enjoyable ride from Philly to Jersey & back. And inexpensive too.
It was a rainy windy type of day but my son and hubby luved the ride and it was pretty quick alil pricey I’d say just for a 5 min ride but still awesome 👏
Great experience havent been on it in a while just as i remember nice ride over to the Aquarium
Nice little Ferry ride to get to the Jersey side 9.00 dollars per person for round trip rides.
My favorite peaceful summer activity for my family and I!
Very friendly crew . Fast courteous service for both the Breaking Benjamin & Korn / Alice in chains concerts . Definitely ride again.
Very good way to get to Camden for shows and the Aquarium in the summer
Use this to go to the bbt pavillion. The ride back to philly is fun
Great ride for $9 round trip, less if u r a veteran. Great views of that part of the city.. Close to aquarium and seaport and SS New Jersey. Take the ride.
The ferry was allsome got to take poctures of diffrent boat and it was allsome riding on it to Philadelphia from New Jersey
Me and my nephews enjoyed ourselves. The staff us super friendly.
Saved alot of time well worth the ride not having to deal with traffic and parking
Easy to access, get tickets. Lovely ride to Jersey side for concerts, aquarium, and Battleship NJ.
Love the ride to the Camden New Jersey side
Its convenient if you dont want to park in Camden. Sometimes the line on the way back sucks and the boat is slow, but overall its worth it
Super convenient to hotel located in Historic part of Philly and dropped off right outside to BB&T Pavilion. Get there early for show!
Paid for a round trip for two of us to get to a concert. Very shortly after the concert ended they shut they ferry down and would not give us our ride back or a refund. Worker was very rude and not helpful in any way. That was our only way back to philly considering you cant walk. It says on the website that they run extended hours on nights when there is a concert to ensure everyone gets their ride back. Thats a lie. I would not recommend relying on this overpriced one way trip.
Best way to get to BB&T from Philly.
I love it. Lots to do.
A 5 min. trip from aquarium in NJ to Phillis, I rided on the top with better views. The trip to Phillis was free, but back to NJ charge $5.00.
If you are going to Camden aquarium take the ferry from Penns landing such a great experience.
Best way to get to bbt concerts so much easier than parking there and dealing with traffic
Good experience was on time very clean and staff were courteous
Should run for concerts and games and free for all kids
Great scenic way to get between Camden and Penns Landing.
Awesome service. Will use it again.
Great way to commute to a concert at BBT Pavilion for the Camden Aquarium
On time and safe. What more can u ask for
This was one of the more fun aspects of the trip.
Made sure to get the special event ticket if you are planning on taking the ferry after 7 pm. Its 2$ more, but they ferry will pick you up within an hour after the event endes
Massively oversells the space on the ferry. Half our group abandoned the line and walked across the bridge to make the concert on time. We got to the venue quite a bit before the ferry group. Not recommended.
A nice sunny day to take the ferry to Philly.
A nice form Jersey to Pennsylvania.
In 2017 walk up fares increased by 30% ($7 to $9) and online fares increased more than 45% ($7 to $10.35). So a family of 4 is paying about $40 round trip. There is no one way fare.During off peak times they only operate the ticket office on the Philadelphia side and so the crew only checks tickets going towards Camden. Special event service runs require a passengers to wear a wristband to deter fare evaders returning to Philly.
Great view
Amazing bday experience
Cheap round trip fare. Great experience!
Not all that much to see, and a fairly short ride, but no major complaints.
My daughter and I had a wonderful time
Great little trip
Favorite way to travel to concert on the waterfront
Its ok

I was in the process of purchasing the tickets after the ferry Driver told me that yes he would let us get on the ferry and he close the gate and left the girls at the ticket booth refuse to give us a refund even though the ferry told us we could buy the tickets and get on.
Quick ride
Great
Its gucci

Unsympathetic staff. They treat people like pigs to kill.
