If I could leave 0 starts, I would. I applied back in March and still haven’t received anything. The new updated system won’t let me log in and every time I try to it says “Contact staff”. When I actually do call, no one answers. The state of Pennsylvania has been a disgrace and very unprofessional!

I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT!!! I am the oldest of 7 kids with a single parent. This system has really proved that they don’t care about us. Especially at a time so fragile as this. The fact that they still hadn’t figured out a way to get to the thousands of people who still don’t receive unemployment till this day. A year later and still hasn’t fixed it I’d beyond me. I shouldn’t have to call over 200 times. Calls shouldn’t have to drop while I’m on hold for an hour. I’ve been tryna get a hold of someone for the past 3 days and get nothing!!!! It’s so frustrating that I want to cry because I didn’t put myself in this situation!!!!!! UNEMPLOYMENT PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER OMG!!!!!

I am on assisted housing. I was on unemployment at the beginning of covid. About 5 months ago I was asked by housing for my PIN number. Since I had been off unemployment for a while I had forgotten it. I have been trying ever since to get that number. Ive emailed several times and waited a month to hear back where they said they are too busy to comply with a request each time. I call several times daily and the number is ALWAYS busy. I have gone to tge local office and its closed due to covid. I am now losing my assistance due to not providing housing with that information

I think the government has total disregard for the folks going through this whole process. Most of us are not here because we want to be. But the way they just totally ignore your emails and can not reach anyone on the phone is a total disgrace. Said in a press statement they had everything fixed but that was just another cloying statement to try to pacify the thousands of people that you are letting down during a time of need. Have been approved for benefits since 12/06 and had my biweekly claims approved as well but still havent received anything yet!

I applied over two months ago, got rejected for absolutely no reason and haven’t heard back about my hearing date or any information from anyone. The phone line has no humans, the online chat has no humans. Does anyone even actually work for the unemployment office or is it just a myth?? This state couldn’t care less for people who are suffering. It is an atrocity.

This place is so stressful to deal with I filed my claim 5 months ago never got one cent of my uc benefits I kept calling and kept trying the chat customer service but it kept saying please try again later,I even emailed these guys like 4 times nothing no response toreassure me that my claim is fine and the money is coming I had to sell most of things in my apartment to get by, just started working this month they need to do better or get some help in there it’s just crazy.

I tried to call to ask about my unemployment but nobody is answering, I kept filing my biweekly unemployment and still havent received a single payment from them. I am currently still unemployed and receiving no money from them. At this point, Im not happy like everyone all over the states.

My husband filed back in sept he didnt get his first check until dec 17 2020 here we are in Feb he is filing his biweekly claims n still no payment the phone dont work they never answer it rings n hangs up we have called everyday 40 tob50 times the office is closed we have sent 11 emails no answer we are behind on all our bills next step for us is to go into a shelter this is so bad they need to send everyone there payments but these ppl get their pay checks and where is all of our money this is disgusting

I applied and was accepted for unemployment compensation in june of 2020. I filed my biweekly claims and have emailed and called and called and called and emailed and waited and waited and waited ...... Still have not received one payment.

My step mother filed for unemployment almost 3 MONTHS AGO, and we still havent heard anything. I filed for unemployment as well and still havent heard anything. We cannot get in touch with anyone, the lines are always busy, no one answers the live chats, we even contacted our state representative. Nothing. We have bills to pay and a family to feed, how is this even happening? I downloaded an auto redial app, I literally call them a thousand times A DAY and we still arent getting through. We dont know what else we could possibly do. Nice that they were able to keep their jobs, but the rest of us are out here struggling with no help.DO BETTER !

I been waiting over 2 month for my unemployment check. They have NOT help me they have NOT gave me any money they have NOT answer any of my phone calls they have NOT answer any of my live chat. Its great for them to still have a job and still have money to pay for there bills while some of us barely have NO food NO clean water and NO home. Unemployment is supposed to be helping people Not letting people Go with out nothing. I finally got to communicate with someone on the live chat, I explained to the person I havent received any payment. The person went online and said to me theres been 3 approved payment that went through from the other weeks I told the person it hasnt come to me because all my accounts is 0. There is no money in my account. The person said to me will Im going by what the computer show and it shows you got paid. I was mad because that means possibly maybe there sending the money to someone else or possibly maybe they are massing up and not saying nothing but either way Im still with out.

Unemployment Benefits is YOUR money. They take it out of your paycheck in case you loose your job. CALL YOUR LOCAL LEGISLATORS AND CONGRESSMAN. Its an election year something needs to be done. I call my local legislator every week, going to keep calling until I get an answer!!!

Yo! This is really a big mess. I file back in March. Got everything you need to file. Got ONE check. That is it.. That was like March 19 I even went down town. Everything is closed.. How why are yall getting paid. Youre not doing anything for anyone. .I need my money that was stated approved for payment..

The governor said he added more jobs to fill in to assist people who are missing their unemployment. Why are there no steps being done for people who havent received their aid? I have people I care about in Philadelphia whos still waiting and way past due for everything in their bills!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Filed in March it’s now June 18th and I have yet to receive a payment. I received a letter in the mail with my eligibility quickly after applying but still have yet to receive a payment. People have bills to pay. I called over 200 times (in one day) and couldn’t get through. Also emailed twice and try the live chats numerous times a day everyday. All this money coming out of my paycheck for unemployment for all my working years and I can’t even receive the benefit I’m eligible for during a pandemic.

I applied for unemployment on May 24th and STILL have not received anything- it’s October 16th. I used to use the online chat but they’ve now updated it so it’s just a robot that can’t answer any real questions. I’ve emailed multiple times but they take a month or more to respond and by that time I had different questions. I received my pin a couple of months ago and already filed for every week, they even said they were forwarding my case to a supervisor but that was over 2 months ago. Just putting this out there since some reviews are worried about not receiving their pin after a few weeks lol... hopefully yours won’t be like my case but just saying it’s possible :(

I have filed 2 months ago after the pandemic caused me to lose my job. I never received a pin, confirmation, heard from anything through email/mail, and they are impossible to get ahold of in both the chat and over the phone. Im glad they still have jobs to feed their families, but there are others of us struggling and would appreciate at least some effort toward helping us stay on their feet...mainly because thats what theyre getting paid to do. Incredibly disappointing.

No answer this is my first unemployment and I’m scared I won’t be able to pay my rent due to lack of people to answer phones or to even get a wrong answers. Why the people working not worried because they have a house to go home to. Who will explain my landlord that no one answer and I don’t have a pin and it been longer than ten days. I received a call from unemployment on August 21st stating that I have money pending to give them a call. It is now October and still haven’t gotten through. I applied on March 19th. I received my card and email explaining how to file. No pin. Why? If PUE can send an email confirmation, why not an email pin number? I have now asked for 3 pin numbers. I know they have my address because, as I said, I have my card. I waited 2 months for a response to my email asking for my pin # to be sent via email. Their response email didnt mention my Pin number issue at all and just assured me that I would receive the funds when I file.DO NOT bother calling, its always busy but when and if you do get through, which I finally did yesterday, its just an automated message saying this phone number is no longer in service. 4 months and counting.

I have called 300 times today. The line stays busy. I tried to chat and that is busy too! I have sent two emails with no response. I file my claim biweekly, I have my pin, my debit card, and I received my letter stating what my payments will be. Still nothing since April 2020! It is now July and I have received not information regarding any problem with my file. This is the first time I have ever had to file for unemployment in my life and it is a horrendous experience!!!**UPDATE** I finally, after 11 weeks, recieved my unemployment payments! Im not sure if this is why but this is what happened...I filed a new claim (using the same pin #). The very next day I received a phone call. The caller ID said PA unemployment. I spoke to a live person who told me that one of the weeks I filed for, I selected NOT able/available to work. Once she corrected that, she informed me that everything looked good and I would receive my payments... and I did!

There is absolutely NO way this line can be called a service line. The only time you actually get through is when they are closed for the day. Unbelievable!!

I applied March 15th and it is now June 29th with no payment. They do not respond to emails, their live chat does not work, and all of their phones go to a busy dial tone. Absolutely no help during the pandemic. Horrible.

Been trying for months to speak to someone through email too about a error with my claim but they just keep sending me a generic message saying theyre sorry theyll get to me when they can. Disgrace of a system. Applied for unemployment on March 18th and was told i would receive a PIN by April 4. I have received nothing. I don’t know how to fix this because when I try live chat, it is ended right away, when I call the line is busy, and my e-mail was never answered. Knowing that they close on 4 on Tuesday, i finally got through by calling and was put on hold until at 330 until 445 - even though i was put on hold before they closed. I might as well be nonexistent

Not going to say poor value. But I will say poor quality. I filed in March, and finally got denied 6 weeks later. The ONLY reason I was able to file without yet reviewing a pin is because I remembered my pin from 4 years ago. I don’t understand how they are denying working people money during a pandemic like we don’t have kids and bills. Anyway.. I called to figure out what the heck and how was I supposed to feed my children. I couldn’t get a response for 3 weeks. The woman I finally spoke to was nice. she said there had been a mistake and that she had corrected it and I should be expecting a payment this week. But I would NOT get paid for the weeks I filed for in March. Here we are, 10 weeks after I originally filed. And I still have nothing. Everything in my claim summary is accepted and processed but I still have not received anything. OH . The most humiliating part about all of this is that, my boyfriend applied for PUA YESTERDAY, and he got $5,160 TODAY! He is 21, has no bills at all. His 19 year old brother who has never had a job also got basically $5000 and he spent it on weed and Xanax. Meanwhile I am 26, I have a baby, I pay rent and multiple bills. Fortunately, I will have my boyfriend give me some money to get by. It’s sad because I had BEEN telling him to apply for months but he didn’t listen until his 17 18 19 year old friends got a bunch of money and he had nothing. I don’t want to depend on him for money, which is why I set up my own claim. But now I have no choice. They need to be checking what people have to pay for because I just feel like it’s ridiculous for a bunch of kids to have a bunch of money and have no kids or bills or anything and real adults are still struggling. I call on a daily routine now to try and obtain information about my unemployment claims since COVID19 shutdown. I cannot get anyone on the phone at any time of the day. I only get a busy signal. This is 2020. Who in today’s world has a busy signal anymore? People need their money they worked hard for! Something needs to change to sort this matter.

This process is nauseating in itself. I have been approved for unemployment due to the pandemic since 3-29-2020; however, I have not received a single benefit payment to-date, which is now 7-21-2020. It has been 4 months and I have not received any responses to my emails asking why I am not receiving the benefits I was approved for, 4 months of unanswered phone calls and busy signals, 4 months of a online chat system telling me to try again later. This whole experience has been horrible and damaging. I am a single parent of two children and this has crippled us financially.

The phone number is constantly busy. It takes hours to get through to a human being. Dont have an address longer than 25 characters; you will not receive your check.The staff does the best they can; I happened to get a good representative. But their system is bad news, and a good rep can only do so much in a bad system.My advice to you is not to get laid off or outsourced.

Submitted for unemployment back in March 23rd. I received email and since then nothing. I have tried calling, I have tried calling and I’m just being completely ignored. Honestly I got through within 5 mins and had everything solved within another 5. It was painless and not what I expected at all based on the reviews I saw. The employee was nice and very helpful!

I havent received a check in almost a month. Its impossible to get through by phone I keep getting disconnected a automatied voice tells me there unable to complete my call to call later . Cant get through. You have to call again and again and you get busy signal. So far I have tried 27 times in a row today. Will have to keep trying for God knows how long until I finally at least get put in the hold queue. Then it will be many hours until someone answers. This is ridiculously bad service.

One of the ladies I had spoken with a couple weeks ago about my claim told me she would fix something on my account. It was never fixed and now my account is saying I owe Unemployment over $800 which is INCORRECT. PLEASE fix this issue. The people running UC are not helpful and are an utter disgrace.
