Its stated very clearly when you move in that if you dont want to be towed, your sticker needs to be fully visible. If you are unable to follow simple directions and will cry when you get towed then I, too, would suggest not living here. If youre a fully functional adult, though, its a good place to land. The apartment building itself is fine for its age and I feel is in a good location and offers nice amenities for the price. Id recommend it to friends...
I lived at Duffield house for 1.5 years. I truly enjoyed the many amenities that were provided (utilities included, pool, fitness center, vending machines) and the maintenance staff was great. Front desk staff were helpful enough during my time there. The location is great, with all of the nearby restaurants and stores along City Av. I did have some issued with my car being towed, as the car decal rule was STRICTLY enforced. Id recommend a high level room (views) and paying to park in the garage (convenience).
My brother and I have been living here for 7 months and we really like the place! The staff is amazing Kathy, Daniel, Moe and Clarence, they are helpful and friendly. We never experienced rude or noisy neighbors. However, two things we don’t like, one is we have to pay every 3 months, and the the other is we saw mice many times in our apartment.
Walls are thin, you can hear everything including toilet flushing! There are rowdy neighbors constantly banging and children running in the halls and screaming at night! The ventilation system is awful! I am suffering from respiratory issues from the excessive cigarette smoke from the tenant underneath, not to mention the tenants that smoke in the stairwell. Have witnessed fighting, and drug transactions take place in the parking lot and in front of the building. When you make ANY complaints to management you are singled out as a complainer and treated nasty!! On top of paying rent Ive purchased several humidifiers and noise cancelling headphones!! Awful place to live and would not recommend it to anyone!! The one good thing about the bldg. is the Leasing Agent Danielle. Extremely helpful and friendly!
The ladies in the office are very nice and considering!🌹
I would not recommend living here unless you are desperate like I was when I moved. Also, make sure your parking sticker is 100% visible, otherwise theyll tow your car.
Great place to live, all utilities are included, beautiful view of Fairmount park.the ONLY thing you need to live here is A CAR!
This place is running a scam with A.Bobs Towing Company on Orthodox street in Philadelphia. A.Bobs Towing will charge $200 (cash only) to release car. Money kicks back to property managers. This operation will be shut down in the near future, however. External investigation is in progress.
Good people and staff!
Hope Im moving.
