They were able to quickly diagnose the problem within minutes. The Network Video Recorder was really old and they were unable to source a new power supply. Gave me an option to find one on my own but would not install used parts. I like that! My laptop crashed on a Friday night and although I was freaking out, the manager Scott made me feel at-ease over the phone and walked me through possible causes. Once I dropped it off, they communicated with me throughout the process, calling me and giving me updates along the way. They even installed a memory card that I had ordered in the mail, free of charge. They are extremely professional and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone in Philadelphia with computer issues.

Spilled beer on my brand new laptop.. I was devastated. Called CG PC Solutions and they told me what my options were. I gave it to them to do a full inspection and cleaning. They gave me updates during the process and kept me in the loop. I ended up paying much less than what I was expecting and am very happy with my experience there. When I first called, they said it would be $55 to look at the computer and if they didnt need to install parts, that would be the whole cost. They called 24 hours later, said it was dust stuck in the fan, I asked if I could pick up the computer, they said they wanted to run more diagnostics. 48 hours of my calling without response later, I was able to pick up the computer, charged $150 without explanation and when I got home the problem persisted. They were so hard to reach and their costs so opaque, I did not want to bring the computer back to them. DO not recommend.

Rude phone experience.Whoever I was speaking to decided to hang up on me while I was talking to them about my computer issue. Additionally, I was even rudely interrupted while explaining how I first got the issue.

I broke the screen on my laptop and I ordered a replacement (two separate visits) and both visits I received wonderful service. I love going to this place!

I had been dealing well over a year with an 8-year-old one terabyte iMac. which I figured should hold all my media. Numerous hours and hours with Apple did not help the beach ball from spinning and so much would not work. These guys explained a bit about the industry and I bought a new one with Apple and Computer Guys recommendation. But Apple ordered me one that was too small to hold all my stuff. So Computer Guy held my computer and waited til Apple sent another one-terabyte computer, from Ireland, where they make them. And born in the 40s, it is still not easy for me to navigate digital devices but folks at this place are helpful and friendly and patient. Definitely recommended and would go back again.

SUPER GUY, PATIENT AND EASY TO WORK WITH. WE USED A SHARED SCREEN TO ACCESS MY COMPUTER AND HE DID DIAGNOSTIC TESTING FOR NEARLY 5 HOURS . RETURNED THE COMPUTER TO MY USE AND ALTHOUGH I HAVE A PROBLEM THAT EVENTUALLY MIGHT REQUIRE AND UPGRADE COMPUTER (HE GAVE ME ADVICE ON PARAMETERS I SHOULD LOOK FOR IN A NEW UNIT AND THAT WAS OVER THE TOP HELPFUL) BUT FOR ALL THAT TIME THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THE SERVICE AS I HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD AN OPEN ORDER THAT HE SAID SATISFIED THE REQUIREMENT FOR PAYMENT. WHO HELPS SOMEBODY FOR 5 HOUR AND SAYS IT WAS WORTH THE DIAGNOSTIC LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM ...NO CHARGE .i OWE THEM .CALLED BACK SAME DAY WITH ANOTHER ISSUE THAT WAS RESOLVED IN MINUTES.THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST . Our small company has had Computer Guy do our tech support since we first opened more than 10 years ago. They have advised us during our growing pains and handled purchasing and installing new desktops, setting up with each new employee, debugging our VOIP phone system, setting up network access from my home so that I could work on the weekends, etc. Computer Guy is great at what they do. Ive been using these guys since the late 90s for both my personal and business computers. If I need them to come to my place to work on my stuff, they usually come within a couple hours. sometimes I drop off my equipment for them to repair in there place. Theyre super-helpful, patient and fair. They have gotten me out of a lot of trouble too. Ive had 2 hard drive crashes over the years and theyve always been able to recover all my files. Anyone who relies on their computers needs these guys on their team.
