Working with Jaizelle was such a wonderful experience! I brought her my sample wedding dress in need of alterations and repairs as the lace had many holes. Jaizelle reassured me that the repairs were possible and from the beginning treated my gown as if she loved it as much as I did. And while she was able to provide me a lot of comfort during a stressful time, she was also always direct and honest so I had no unrealistic expectations. The gown turned out stunning and fit perfectly! She did such an amazing job Ill be taking it back to her to repair again (since it got beat up during my mountain elopement) so I can wear it in the spring at my postponed reception.

From the moment I spoke with Jaizelle over the phone I knew she was the one I wanted working on my dress. I came in with multiple ideas that I was told would be super easy and not change my dress at all from the store I purchased from. I had a bridesmaid dress altered about a month ago, and it came out spectacular! I am very petite and needed a lot of the dress cut off and Jaizelle did an amazing job making sure the dress fit perfectly and explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it a certain way. I bought a dress for my wedding and unfortunately gained wait which made me look CRAZY! The dress had an illusion fabric on the back which I wanted covered up. I was extremely worried I would have to buy another dress after immune arrived in my size but I found Jaizelle and honestly I cried when I saw what a great job she did. You can not even tell the dress did not come that way. It looks phenomenal! I wish I could attach pictures to this review. 100% recommend. She is honest and very responsive. Bare with me, as this review will very likely be long! I will modify this review to include my wedding pictures after my wedding at the end of the month so everyone can appreciate the beautiful work that Jaizelle did. I couldnt wait to share this review with the internet, as I feel like everyone (in this case brides looking for a tailor for their wedding dress) should be blessed to have a tailor as brilliant as Jaizelle.Jaizelles studio was recommended by BHLND when I went to pick up my dress, and after some internet searching I decided that I was going to try and see if Jaizelle could work on alterations on my dress that was 4 weeks away. First off, she was extremely responsive and accommodating. I was able to get a consultation within a couple of days, where she explained to me the entire process of what would be happening. At the consultation, she went through (in detail) all the things that she would do to the dress and what she recommended based on the fit that I wanted and would best flatter my figure. I never felt like she forced me into getting alterations that I did not think I needed. Not only did she assure me that she could get the alterations done in time, but I felt like her pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable and I felt completely comfortable paying her for the services she charged. The thing that I was pleasantly surprised with was, after I decided to hire her for the alterations, she pulled out her contract and went in detail through it. Seriously, I have never ever had anyone do this before (in a good way!) and I left completely satisfied that we went through all of what ifs what nots, etc. I left that appointment with every single question answered. She made sure to double, triple check with me if I had any lingering questions, and if I did, I could always call her up to ask.The turnaround time for the alterations was so much faster than I expected, which gave me a huge sigh of relief considering I had a wedding date that was fast approaching. Again, she was extremely accommodating for me to come in to the second fitting. As soon as I put it on, it fit perfectly. I almost cried as I did when I first bought the dress. The dress fit even better than I imagined. I have a big bust, and (with the adjustments) the padding that came with the dress sat a little too high on my chest after the adjustment. I thought I would leave and come back another time to try it on but to my surprise, Jaizelle literally sat down and adjusted the dress while I was at her studio. After about 10 minutes, she was done and it looked absolutely perfect! I have since left with the dress and I have a huge weight off my shoulders. It fit me perfectly.Her goal was for me to leave her studio happy and satisfied, and she made sure to stress that on both of my fittings. I cannot recommend Jaizelles services enough! Not only is she an extremely talented tailor, but she is also the kindest human being with a heart of gold. I so much enjoyed our conversations about her experiences in the film industry as she adjusted my dress! I hope that if any bride out there is trying to decide on where to take your dress to get altered at, you choose her studio. I can assure you that Jaizelle has a passion for what she does and genuinely cares about her customers leaving with a smile on their face. The dress was slightly too short for heels, was too tight in the hips and had SO much beading it would have been impossible for other seamstresses. But Jaizelle is a magician! I came to Jaizelle with my bridesmaid dress two weeks before my sisters wedding with the impression that all I needed was a hem. My initial meeting with Jaizelle she pinned the dress and had it looking perfect in spots I didn’t realize weren’t already. The way she had it pinned were the exact results on the finishing product. The dress looked like it was made that way especially for me. The stitches were neat and clean, the hem was done beautifully. I could not be any happier with the way it fits and feels, to say her work is amazing is an understatement. Not only her work, but she herself is an amazing individual! From the second I met her I felt as if I knew her for years, she has such a calm and gracious presence. I am beyond happy that I found her! I was referred to Jaizelle to have my wedding gown altered. My wedding was planned in a total of about 7 weeks due to an illness in the family, when I purchased my dress I had about 5 weeks left to have the dress done. I called Jaizelle, we set up a day to meet and I explained the situation and how little time was left. Not only did she assure me that she would be able to have it done in time, she was so kind and caring about the situation I was in. My schedule was hectic during the next couple of weeks, she was so accommodating so we could get together each visit and always asked how my family was doing and was genuinely concerned. She was very professional, helped make suggestions and explained everything she was going to do to the dress in detail. It really shows how much she loves what she does. My dress required quite a bit of work, including a custom bustle and removing and reattaching by hand all of the scalloped lace on the bottom of my dress. My venue was close by and she even offered to come by if I needed any help with bustling the dress the day of the wedding. I loved my dress when she was finished with it and I think her prices are very reasonable. She is so professional, caring and welcoming. I went back to her the following year to have my gown turned into a christening dress for my daughter, again with not a lot of time to do it and really just an idea on the shape of the dress I wanted. She helped me decide on a few things and I told her to do her thing, the dress was perfect! Highly recommend using her for any alterations or custom clothing you may want. Thank you Jaizelle!!

Jaizelle is a miracle worker. When I first got the bridesmaid dress for my cousins wedding I thought it was beautiful but I struggled to see its full potential because it was ill-fitting on me. From our first appointment, Jaizelle put me at ease making sure to take great care to ensure that the dress fit me in the best way possible. I was so grateful for her professionalism and after my first alteration appointment I had no fear that the dress would fit perfectly. I could not have been happier with the final product. I received so many compliments about the dress and I felt spectacular the entire time. Jaizelle is not only good at what she does but is also the most lovely professional to work with! The first time I worked with her I had brought in a formal dress which needed to be hemmed. She has this amazing ability to make it feel like you have been working together forever and was helpful in providing opinions when asked. Although it was a relatively simple task, it was clear that Jaizelle had a lot of business, so I was shocked when she contacted me two days later to say my dress was ready to be picked up! I absolutely LOVED what she had done with the dress and was so grateful for how accommodating she was. I cannot recommend her enough and will definitely be using her again!

Jaizelles craftsmanship is impeccable and she is a pleasure to work with. She is very detailed in explaining what she is going to do to alter your garments and is very reasonable with costs. Jaizelle was wonderful to work with-- I contacted her with less than a week before my wedding in order to have my wedding dress altered, and she couldnt have been more supportive and helpful. I had taken my dress to another tailor and had a pretty awful experience there (not listening to what I wanted done with the dress, so that by the end of it, I hated the way my wedding dress looked on me). I called Jaizelle in a bit of a panic, and she immediately provided me with reassurance and recommendations on what could be done in such short notice. Thankfully, she was able to fit me in for a last-minute appointment the following day. She actually listened to what I wanted done with the dress and did exactly what I asked for. She made the changes that day (within an hour!) and I picked up my dress the following day. Her prices were reasonable, her work was meticulous, and she was incredibly professional. I only wish I had gone to her from the beginning- she saved my day!

I went to Jaizelle to get the dress I am wearing at my wedding altered. I tried it on, walked around a bit and she told me it was perfect and needed nothing done to it. I appreciate her honesty and for not trying to do any alterations that it did not need. Her space is awesome and I even stayed for a little while longer to chat while she was working on some beautiful things. GUYS PLEASE READ!Jaizelle will make you look like a million bucks. I wish I discovered her before my wedding. My suit would have fit like a glove.... instead I had it tailored from the dept. store where I bought it, a nice CK suit but I can remember their in house service was awful and my look suffered.But now that I met Jaizelle; I will suffer no moreMy wife bought me a Banana Republic suit (on sale for like $75) a seriously great deal. Linen and in this sharp blue. But when I put on what I ordered online it looked bulky, baggy and big.One trip to Jaizelle and she turned that suit into a show stopper. I felt like Ric Flair (wooo)... I’m bringing her all of my suits, pants and coats.My only regret is this review took me almost 2 months to post. But now get all your clothes that need to be tailored and go see Jaizelle!!

I waited until the last minute to find someone for my wedding dress alterations, mostly because i didnt know where to go. So I used Google and saw Jaizelle had such great reviews. Shes AMAZING at what she does. If she says shes quick, she is. Got my dress in 2 weeks. And its gorgeous. Fit is perfect, lines are perfect, hem and train, immaculate. Did i mention my dress is a couture gown and all lace?? Shes worked in film and with celebrities and has such a great gift at what she does and she truly loves it!! And the icing on the cake, shes affordable.

Sorry for the delay in posting this. Jaizelle did alterations for daughter Hayleys senior prom dress back in May of this year. School was SLA. The alterations were done in a timely manner (baring in mind I didnt really give her much time) at a reasonable cost and they turned out absolutely stunning. Awesome experience with my husbands skinny jeans! Honestly though! Jaizelle has the talent to do any type of adulteration as well as custom designs. Personality is such a great asset in this line of business & I must say she certainly does have a great personality. Would not go anywhere else for my dress designs or adulteration. Love her work! Jaizelle was amazing with helping me made some last minute adjustments to my veil! Its a family heirloom from 1923 and all the women in my family have worn it and it is super delicate and priceless. She was able to attach a comb while maintaining the integrity of the piece and not damaging it at all! Will definitely be visiting in the future for all my alterations!

Such a great overall experience! Jaizelle made the process of altering my wedding dress so easy. She got the alterations done in 2 weeks for me after I had problems with another place and was in a rush to get it done in time. When it comes to any service professional, I believe it’s impossible to overstate the importance of the the professional not only being skilled but also being friendly. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve went to someone and thought man they know their stuff but I walked away not really having a positive impression of the interaction. I meant to write a review about Jaizelle back in April when she altered my bridesmaid dress for a wedding, but I got so busy that I completely forgot. Now that a friend of mind is asking me where she should get her bridesmaid dress altered, Jaizelle popped right back into my head. After L&H Bridal told me that I needed my dress completely altered and told me a very expensive price, I decided to go to Jaizelle. Jaizelle told me that my dress didn’t even need to be altered at the bottom at all, and that it laid at a perfect length with my shoes. This was the complete opposite of what L&H said, which made it clear that L&H was after my money where as Jaizelle just wanted the best for her customer. Jaizelle’s alterations came out perfectly, and I couldn’t have been more happy!

Jaizelle is very personable, talented, and honest. She completes each project in a timely fashion. Every time you meet with her you will be 100% comfortable. She has am extensive background in her expertise. You should definitely use her for alterations or any neat article of clothing you desire!

I bought my daughter a prom dress on the internet because she wanted something unique and i had a budget. The dress was beautiful and fit perfectly, except for the chest. It was way too small and the zipper wouldn’t go up from mid back. We took the dress to Jaizelle Hanna and she fixed the dress by making a corset type tie down the back - beautiful! It was done quickly and the price was reasonable for the quality of work.

I had a dress for my daughter’s wedding that had been taken in too much by another seamstress. Jaizelle took the time to come in early to accommodate me and redo the dress. It took her less than 20 minutes and I took the dress home the same day. She is kind, personable and very talented.

Worked with Jiazelle on the alternations for my bridal gown and due to wedding circumstances, my gown needed to be done within a very short time frame. (Less than 2 weeks) Jiazelle really took the time out to ensure she was able to fit me into her schedule and did a Fabulous job on my wedding dress! Jaizelle did a wonderful job with my wedding dress alterations! It had to have its 5 skirts hemmed up (two with a “horse hair seam” which is more complicated), shoulders taken in, zipper repaired, and a simple bustle added. Jaizelle was clear in communicating what to expect throughout the process. She did quality work, finished 10 days ahead of schedule. One less thing to worry about! I would definitely recommend her.
