Was really excited about coming to this barbershop because it’s in my neighborhood and I kind of wanted to make it my neighborhood barbershop so I made an appointment at 10 AM right when they open but I decided to stop by five minutes before and I waited 30 minutes after they opened one thing about barbers is if you know call no show they hate you and they blacklist you from their barbershop but yet they can turn around and do it to you with no problem. I booked an appointment online they had my information they have my number but they didn’t have the consideration to call me when they knew that they were going to be late or not show up at all. Thank you city barber for being a big waste of my time and please don’t reach out to me about a complementary haircut or discount on a haircut considering today’s events I don’t think you have time for me or anyone else since I’m writing this review in front of your shop where the lights are off and nobody is still here... current time 10:40am

I had a fantastic experience with Kevin this past weekend. I have been searching for a good, consistent barber at an affordable price that didnt have any flairs and I think I found my spot. Kevin took a lot of pride in his craft by not only taking his time, but by going over sections of hair again if it is not fully to his satisfaction. He even had a large LED light to brighten up the shop so he could make sure I was getting the best cut possible. The location is very accessible and the prices are more than fair for the service you are getting. I will be back for my next cut soon.

Consistently great work and well priced. Havent gotten a bad cut here in 4 visits with 3 different barbers. Strongly recommend Jay, but theyre all solid in my opinion. They listen to what Im looking for and get it right every time. Ive been to 5 or 6 other shops in the city and this is the only one Im confident will get it right. No nonsense, just a good cut.

So I went here a few years ago and it was fine. Just went tonight and there was a homeless person in the waiting area and the haircut was awful. I showed him a pictureOf what wanted from my previous barber and he basically didn’t do anything besides an awful fade. After I got home from this butcher shop I realized you tried to cut my skin instead of my hair.. Its almost impressive how bad this hair cut was. 35 bucks Ill never see again. Stick to boxing.

Napps all over place horrible

This was the most disappointing haircut and experience I ever had. There is no effort put into the haircut at all. It literally lasted 8 minutes and had to shave my own neck when I got home. That has never happened.

Curtis did an amazing job on my sons hair. He walked in there looking like a bedraggled mess and left looking every bit the dapper gentleman. His fade is truly a work of art! I highly recommend both City Barber and Curtis, for quality mens grooming.

I’ll admit I got a quality cut, but will never return. I’m used to paying literally HALF their price for just as good cuts elsewhere.Not at all worth it.

Over priced, not so accommodating, mediocre haircut! Honestly guys, I was with my barber for years before he passed away from a stroke. Im not expecting the same quality but come ON! almost 30$ and you couldnt give me a decent trim! SMH, this is more of a last minute and emergency place I would go to. My son hair was better going in and worst leaving out . 1st impressions is so important today. and this barber did thee worst cut my son has every haD WITH A CAPTAL D. I was disappointed in the customer interaction (no one talked in this shop) and service because according to the website it says, Traditional Barber Haircut includes cut, style, hot lather straight razor around ears and on the back of the neck with hot towel and a quick shoulder massage. However, they did not use a straight razor on the back of the neck and there was no hot towel or quick shoulder massage. The line up in front was not well done because they took too much off on my sideburns which left a weird 5 oclock shadow happening for a couple of weeks. I was extremly disappointed when paying the bill because when I handed over cash they did not ask if I wanted any change and pocketed the cash giving themself a 56% tip. I also dont believe that the haircut was worth $32. I can get the same quality cut from a place for $15.

Curtis is the worst barber I ever had! He messed up my hair! My hair looks weird now! Short in some parts and longer in some parts!! I feel weird facing crowd now that some of my hair is really short and some long, he cuts hair like hes trimming bush! M sure this place has good barbers but never set an appointment with CURTIS!!!

I dont normally review places but i had a pretty terrible experience. I can forget the poor hospitality. I could even forgive the straight razor and massage they completely forgot about. But when i asked for a fade and to cut the top short, my barber went ahead and gave me a buzz cut. Couldnt do much after he swept off half my hair in one quick swoop and asked me if thats good. Also a very sloppy fade. I didnt want to say anything but since he asked i told him that its alot shorter than i wanted it. He laughed and told me its hair, itll grow back. For an already outrageous $32 a bad haircut and being plain rude is just unacceptable.

I was very happy with my first trip to City Barber. My wife has been doing my hair (pretty much a straight buzz cut) for almost the past two years. Well, I let my hair grow in for over three months and went to City Barber (I wanted something besides a crew cut I usually have). Of coarse I go the day there is a protest blocking up traffic (Pence was in town) but once I get there I meet Damar. Now, even though my hair looks like Im on the set of That 70s show, Damar does an absolutely fantastic job of doing my hair exactly as I, tried my best, to explain to him. He really did do much better than I thought... Highly Recommend! See you in a month or so, Damar. :-)
