I wish I could give them six stars!! My car battery died in front of my home overnight. My insurance company, USAA, dispatched Statewide Road Service from Philadelphia. I couldn’t believe how quickly they arrived at my location (under 15 minutes in a rain storm and I live over 20 minutes from their shop). Additionally, I have a 2020 Toyota Camry with a hybrid system which can be tougher to start. The mechanic showed me the correct access point to connect the cables from his vehicle. After he got it started, he even advised me to leave it running for 30 minutes to charge it up, and said that if I had more battery problems, it would be best to take it to the dealer for more involved maintenance (fortunately, everything has been running fine since). Most of all, the mechanic was patient, polite, and respectful. I even tipped him $10, which he wasn’t expecting but he definitely deserved. Keep up the good work, boys, and stay corona and virus-free!!
Where is the better business bureau when you need them words cant explain how horrible this place is........simple as that. If you are calling for roadside assistance & they tell you they are sending out this company Statewide Road Services Tell them absolutely not and send another company . They left me stranded for 4 1/2 hrs never told my insurance company anything nor did they tell me anything I would try to call them & they wouldnt answer for me but they would answer for my insurance company just so they can call me back and tell me another 25mins for the 4th time....PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM STATEWIDE ROADSIDE SERVICE located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania
I was waiting for a simple flat tire service from this company (through State Farm). After spending three hours waiting without seeing any update on the website, the next thing I noticed was they suddenly marked my status as “service completed”, without me receiving any service! Their told State Farm they arrived and called me, but I didn’t reply—however, I didn’t receive any phone call from them.Note that apparently other people had similar experience with this company.
I gave this service provider 1 star because google wouldn’t let me post with 0.I was waiting for a simple flat tire service from this company (through Ford). This company was selected by Subarus Roadside Assistance program, to tow my vehicle to a collision center after a small fender bender. I was given a time frame of 90 minutes by Subarus team. Once 90 minutes passed, I called Statewide and no answer. I called about 3 more times and no answer. I called Subarus Roadside assistance dispatch, and she called Statewide...they answered her and said they had an ETA of 15 minutes. This was a lie. After 20 minutes I called Subaru, once more and the dispatcher was very displeased with what was going on. She requested a second company to pick me up and they responded immediately. So, now its been about 2 and a half hours and I finally get a call from Statewide. They asked me if I still needed a tow, I said yes. They said well itll be about 30 minutes more due to traffic. I said, another company was already dispatched. Their response was well, whoever gets there first and then hung up. I tried to call back to cancel, but no one answered. The second tow company arrived right when he said he would. So professional. Drove me 40 minutes home. After I was home for about 30 more minutes, Statewide called me about 7 times. He mustve been looking for me, well after 4pm (I made the initial call at 10:30 am). This company is a disaster.
Honda roadside assistance chose them. They came quickly but when it came to delivering the car to the service center they left the car in the used car section and didnt even leave the key in the dropbox so the service center didnt find it for 2 days despite me calling them to tell them it was there.
Driver Tim was a really great help. He was nice and professional. Getting my truck on the tow truck was hard because I couldn’t put it on Neutral but getting it off was even more harder, But he did it I truly appreciate his help. I was very satisfied with his services . Thanks Tim!!
Sent by Nationwide insurance, after waiting for an hour, truck never showed up. Called the number provided, went straight to VM and VM was full. I was then notified via automated text that the driver couldn’t locate me and left. Never called, phone was obviously off. Clearly didn’t put much effort into finding me. ZERO stars!!!
There is no option for zero stars. This tow company was selected as first available when I contacted my insurance company for a tow. I was informed the tow driver woulda arrive in 90 minutes. I waited and called after 90 minutes and no one answered the phone. Called insurance company and after 10 minutes they were able to get the tow company on the phone. I was told the driver would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I get a call from the tow company. We are a little backed up and will be there in maybe 45 minutes. Yeah, no thank you. I called my insurance company to cancel this tow and request a new tow company. Direct Auto Towing was there in 35 minutes. Dont waste your time with Statewide Road Service.

I did not receive any calls while waiting for them, in fact like I said, I called them and got sent to voicemail both times. So they lied about calling me because they didnt want to come out? I used my State Farm insurance app to file a request for roadside assistance and had the easiest, painless experience....I am not negating the reviews above but my experience was very good..I opened the request at 12:09 and received a text stating that Statewide towing was assigned to my ticket at 12:17 by 12:36 I received a phone call from Statewide confirming that the tow truck was on its way, and also through the app I was notified that the tow truck was en-route...I then received a phone call and a notification through the app at 1:03 that the tow truck/driver were out front with my vehicle. I went outside and was greeted by a super friendly gentleman by the name of “Tee”, who asked me what the issue was with my vehicle and verified the address where I had wanted it towed...I told him that I was unable to jump the car we tried multiple times and it also had a flat tire, Tee then proceeded to hook up this portable charger thing and the car literally started right away!!! I was shocked !!! He then informed me that he was going to put the car on the flatbed and take it to the garage I requested, he was so friendly and gave me some good pointers and advice in regards to my vehicle and made sure there was anything else I needed assistance with and then he put the car in the truck and left...within about 15 minutes I was notified through my app and Tee also went a text both verifying that my car had arrived at the garage . The ENTIRE process took a few minute less than an hour, and would have been even faster except the tow driver, Tee, was super thorough explaining stuff and helping me with the car ...I am just very pleased with how things turned out and I DEFINITELY was HAPPY with the courtesy and above and beyond attitude of the tow truck operator Tee!!! This road side assistance service was by far a 5 star experience and I am more than satisfied THANK YOU State Farm, Statewide Towing, and most definitely and importantly, Tee from Statewide!!! Took a tow request via State Farm, but never showed up. Listed phone number is incorrect, so even SF cant get a hold of the company. Absolute garbage of a business. If they pick up your road side service request - call your insurance immediately and request a different company so you dont waste hours waiting for nothing.
Dispatched through Erie insurance roadside assistance twice . 1st time I texted my location to driver per their request (no professionalism & complaining about my location on highway while on the phone ), driver supposedly was en route . Waited over 2 hours . Unresponsive, but responded to insurance & lied saying I cancelled. Second time waited over an hour driver still not en route, unable to reach by phone . Hopefully they will show this time
They deserve a negative 5 stars. They shouldnt even be in business. Called my insurance because I broke down completely at night in 20 degree weather with no heat in my soft top vehicle. Original ETA was 90 minutes. Called the tow dispatcher twice after 90 minutes and they wouldnt even pick up the phone. Called my insurance company who called them and they said 30 more minutes or less. I wait again. By now state troopers came and had let me sit in their vehicle to stay warm. After another 30 minutes, I call again to the dispatcher who doesnt pick up, but picks up for my insurance company and my insurance company tells me an additional 20 min. I had the state troopers drop me off at home since it was about 5-7 minutes away. Now, I have to do this all over again to actually get my vehicle towed by people who know how to do their job. But first Ill be calling my insurance company to complain about utilizing them.
Every terrible review of this company is absolutely true. Waited well over 3 hours for keys locked in the car. They claimed someone was out, but “couldn’t find us.” No phone call. Then sent someone else out who never showed up. 1 star is generous.

Was dispatched through State Farm insurance. They never showed up to change my tire. No answer when I called them. State Farm calls them and they claimed they could not get ahold of me and left even though I had my cell phone the whole time and sitting in my car. DO NOT USE THIS DISHONEST COMPANY!!!!
I pray that they get shut down! This may top everyones review. I waited for 5 hours and live blocks from them. After being told 20 minutes about every hour and text saying it too. They never answer the phone and their mailbox is full. I also was told after close to 5 hours to put my keys in glove box and lock my door since they were going to be longer. This was told to me from a supervisor. I asked him how he was going to get in my car and he told me to not worry about it. Then I pick up my car from the dealership and my door is all scratched up and bent on the corner of the door. They are refusing to pay to fix my car and saying they never had to get into my car. When my key was in glove box and they told me key was inside the side of the door, well someone had to get in my car to move my key. I have reported this company to action news, they need to be shut down. No responsibility to the damages they have caused to my car.
They hired fraud employees...Progressive insurance has hired them for jump-start of my car today.. I waited outside for their ETA of 90 minutes.. They never showed up and they also claimed they got my signature for service completed.... All calls logs is with Progressive insurance... Dont trust them. If progressive insurance is assigning this vendor for you I would highly recommend to reject them.

Called back my insurance agent and this company claimed that someone came to my car, which i was sitting in, and that no one was there. This towing company was absolutely atrocious I was patiently waiting inside my car for about one hour, The time they said they would arrive, but never did. I had to call my insurance company to wonder why I was taking them so long, when my insurance company got in contact with them, stateside road service told them that I was never there and that they took a picture of a car with no one in it, which was a COMPLETE LIE because I never left my car. Because of my nice nature I was willing to give him a second chance and this time I stateside road service said they would be there within 45 minutes. After waiting another hour I called my insurance company again and ask why did they never show up. What stateside road service told my insurance company is that they never dispatched another vehicle to check my car and I am right now I’m speaking m what stateside road service told my insurance company is that they never dispatched another vehicle to check my car. This company was dispatched out to me to chance my flat tire through my Roadside assistance with Nationwide. After waiting for over an hour a man showed up in a 90’s beat up Toyota Corolla, nothing identifying this company and in regular street clothes. He then proceeded to attempt to remove my tire and I could tell he didn’t really know what he was doing. After he attempted two times he informed me that my lug was stripped and that I would need someone with a power tool that he didn’t have. He then got back in his car and left. My vehicle is only a few months old and my lug definitely was not stripped before he touched it.The next company Nationwide sent to me showed up in a company vehicle and had my tire removed and spare on in less than 10 minutes without the use of a power tool.
The absolute worse! Travelers insurance dispatched this company 3 hours ago. They call them every 30 minutes and they lie and say theyre 15 minutes away. Im about to go on YouTube to learn how to change a tire and put them on blast on my social media pages.

THIS IS THE WORST TOWING SERVICE IN THIS AREA, EVERYONE INVOLVED FROM THE DISPATCHER TO THE DRIVERS ARE RUDE AND IGNORANT, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY INSURANCE COMPANIES CONTINUE TO CONTRACT WITH THEM. THEY ARE EITHER LATE OR NO SHOW; AT SOME POINT YOU HAVE TO QUESTION THE COMPANIES WHO CONTINUE TO CONTRACT WITH THEM FOR SERVICE. GET A CLUE AND DROP THEM FROM YOUR LIST OF AVAILABLE PROVIDERS.
They were assigned by my insurance company to tow my vehicle from my local mechanic to my car dealership, which is a 10 minute drive. they made me wait for 4 hours and they STILL never showed up or bothered to call me. I could not even get a phone call through to reach them at their public phone number. I decided to stop waiting when a rep called me after 4 hours to tell me that they would be another hour and a half. what a joke. a person that works for another towing service in the area also confirmed that Statewide towing never comes out, and that a portion of their weekly calls are people that have called them that have waited hours.
So they never showed up. My car is right in in my view and not once did any type of car/vehicle show up from this company. When the ETA came and went I checked the website the insurance company gave me and it updated to that the driver, Anastasia, showed up and advised that my car needed to be towed to a dealer. Ummmm she never was there so i don’t know who she talked to but it wasn’t me. I called the number my insurance provided it rang and rang. When I called my insurance company they connected us and then the person who picked up the phone just said my phone was breaking up I need to call back and hung up.....yeah terrible terrible customer service.....especially when you are servicing a Philadelphia Police Officer IN Philadelphia, and to lie about the service you did not provide. Don’t use this company. They’re liars.

Never showed up. Was waiting 3 hours for this company to get my car. The fact thats this is even a company is blasphemy. The only way to get to a representative is to call them, not get and answer, and wait about 1 hour before the automated system calls you back and gets you to a representative. Then theyll put you on hold for 20 mintues and disconnect the call. Any insurance company should not request from them. Literal trash.
Last night I scheduled a tow through my AT&T roadside service. I waited over two hours for the driver when i was told he would be there in 90 minutes or less. I called the receptionist to check on my tow and she said he got hung up on another call but he would be there soon. After his arrival he proceeded to floor my car up on to the bed of the tow truck and I heard a crack. I asked what the crack was as he was picking up something off the ground. He said it was nothing and proceeded to me Na you good. I was under the impression when you call for a tow the chains on the truck were supposed to pull the car up, not be driven. Had the ca been drivable, I would have driven it the 6 miles to my garage. I pick the car up today and notice my front bumper is cracked and I cannot get a hold of the company. I also have the receipt from Statewide Road Service where there is no prior damage check off. I have now put in a formal complaint with AT&T and I was told this is the second complaint they have on file for this provider. I would give them no stars if I could. This was the most unprofessional experience i have had with road side assistance.
Ive never done a review before, but this company is terrible. This is the third time Progressive gave my ticket to their company over the past 3 years and they suck. Theyre never on time, dont call to indicate being late, and they never answer the phone. I just told Progressive to notate my account to never use this provider again. Save yourself the trouble and request a different provider that Statewide.
If I could give them less than 1 star I would. This company is an absolute joke. Wait times of 1-2.5 hours and then they never show! When I call, it goes straight to a full voicemail box. After getting the runaround of excuses from them, they had the audacity to claim that they did show up and I didn’t answer my phone!! They claimed to have taken pictures as proof, but shockingly when I asked to see these pictures, I was put on hold and never got back to!! Do not waste your time on these fools!!! Absolutely horrible!!!!
Im not sure what this woman is talking about I was stranded on the highway with my 2 children 1 of who is an infant traveling to see family for the holidays unsure of exactly where I was I spoke with Maggie and she took the time to look up my location and help to pin point exactly where I was located I was given a 60 min time of arrival the driver Eddie arrived in 47 mins tested my battery and was able to tell me that my battery only needed to be recharged. Everyone I dealt with at this company was very polite and knew what they were talking about. Thank you Statewide for providing with me excellent service!!!

HORRIBLE. I wish I could give them zero stars. This company is quite frankly unbelievable. I have the utter misfortune of having to deal with them as they are contracted through liberty mutual and they are legitimately the worst towing company on the planet. Firstly, all they do is lie, lie, lie. They lie about being on sight, they lie about contacting you about being on sight, they lie to liberty mutual about the services they perform (or rather didn’t perform). My god, in all my years I’ve never encountered a professional institution that LIES as much as they do. They have canceled THREE (3) road side assistant claims in ONE DAY without performing any services (coming to change a tire). THREE, back to back. I’m flabbergasted as how this business stays afloat, they don’t want to do their jobs. On top of that, they really like to use threats and ultimatums when dealing with customers (“if you don’t reply right now, if you don’t this or that, we’re cancelling the service”) are you kidding me?? I waited FIVE (5) hours for a simple tire change and was told this. I waited FOUR (4) hours for a towing to an auto shop and told this. It’s utterly ridiculous. Every single time I have to deal with this company through my insurance, its a headache. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM, EVER.

This company is soo unprofessional, I called at least 15x and no answer. I was with my car at the mechanic, while sitting in the waiting room they came picked up my vehicle did not ask the shop owner for keys or where I was they, just left me there and took my car. When my insurance company called them they said that the car was already dropped off and that I would need to uber home, how are you at my house in 10 mins of you leaving the shop when my home is about a 20-25 min drive? My car was not left in my driveway in the back of my home, it was left up the st. on the opposite side of the street on my neighbors property on top of her curb and grass and I have pictures to prove my claim. I have never seen a company drop the ball like they did, out of all that occurred no one ever even called me, not the driver or a supervisor. I did put in a complaint with my car insurance company and told them that they should not use this company anymore because all over the internet there are bad reviews concerning this tow truck company.
Every single star ratings are true. LIARS!! They didn’t showed up for 180 minutes and after they said we called you 6 times. LIARS. Why would I not pick up phone for the service that I’m waiting for three hours. I don’t understand why insurance companies are using bunch of LIARS like this company. Company lied to my Insurance company stating they cancelled my roadside flat tire service because I did not pick up the phone. This was most certainly not the truth!!! It is 16 degrees outside and my phone has been in my hand for FOUR HOURS now while I sit here waiting for another service to come and help me. I called them 10 times before a young lady picked up. Two times out of 10 calls were I am to get someone on the phone. Dissatisfied with their services and they should not be outsourcing with insurance companies in providing services.
They were supposed to come out between 7-7:30am. I called USAA the night before to schedule a towing and thats what I was told. When I called them in the morning I was told this towing company was dispatched at 6am. So they had an hour and a half to get here, in other words. It is now 8am and they are not here. They did not answer their phone. I finally got a call from them on a different number other than whats listed, just to be laughed at and told that unless I am paying cash for a tow, my service request is basically being pushed to the side. I was then told that they do not dispatch at 6am. Theyre a 24 hour company, how do you figure you do not get dispatched at a certain time??? Theyre still getting paid, regardless which method that is, so I dont understand the problem with doing a job. To top it off, I was told to leave the keys in the car and leave. Why, so my car can get messed up like everybody elses in the previous reviews??? No thanks!

Horrible!!! I called through roadside assistance and the driver contacted me that someone would be out. 2 hours later still no tow truck. Called this company they said they couldnt give me an ETA or any info and that I had to call my insurance back. I called my insurance back and they got in contact with the company who stated they came out to me 45 minutes ago and couldnt tow my vehicle because they didnt have the proper equipment. No one from the company contacted me when they were outside, or at my vehicle Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!
Absolutely horrible service. Dispatch said they would call me with an ETA, never called. When I called them they told me 45 minutes. Never showed up. According to them they couldnt reach my vehicle because it was blocked despite having a mile of clear lane infront of me and more than a few car lengths behind me. They also never called to tell me this. All around terrible service, avoid them at all costs.

They don’t provide any real service, nor answer the phone. They’ll state they called you and that you cancelled/no longer need help after making up other excuses. Probably just a front to sell drugs/launder money.
Perhaps people that arent happy are the only ones that post reviews. For what its worth, heres my review. My SUV broke down, I called for towing on a Sunday afternoon, a fella named Marc showed up only about 20 minutes after the ETA. He got my SUV on a nice flatbed truck and took it to Pep Boys on fleek. I have no complaints. Im pleased with the service.
Tow driver Scott came to help me. He was friendly and personable. He helped me so much and was awesome! Thank you Scott!
Contacted them through my insurance company. They never showed up so I called them directly. Their operator lied to me said they called my four times. Never was contacted once by them. They even had my address. They could have knocked on the door. Worst company ever.

Pro:The service of the dispatcher was amazing. The ETA was 45 min and he got to me in 30 min. A tow job that should have taken about 1 hr total (pick up, drive, and drop off) only took about 30-45 min. I was very please with the service of the dispatcher.Con:I was told the tow would cost $70, but I was charged $90 (a $20 convenience fee which was supposed to drop after the transaction posted to my account). The $20 did not drop. I had to call and complain for 15 minutes to remove the $20 extra charge.Overall, the service is great but the administration average.
You will wait over 3 hours for this service. Do yourself a favor and ask a stranger for help before you ask these people for anything.
Terrible customer service. I called this place for roadside assistance through my insurance company because I ran out of gas. I got an estimated time of 35 minutes. An hour later, I was still waiting and called them. The woman who answered the phone told me that they came to my location and didnt see me, so they cancelled the service. I hadnt left my car the entire time!!! I was in the turning lane at a major intersection, right off of 76, in the middle of the night, with my hazards on. No possible way they could have been there and not seen me. So I asked her to please send someone back because I was still waiting, and no gas stations were open at this time so I couldnt even walk anywhere to get it. She refused, and said she needed authorization from my insurance company. She already had the authorization!!! Its not my fault the guy didnt know where he was going!! But she absolutely did not care and did nothing to help me. By this time it was 1:00 AM. So I ended up calling my insurance company and asked them to call a different place. They called Flatts Road Services and he came within 30 minutes, with no issues. Granted, Im an idiot for running out of gas, but I really dont understand how Statewide Road Services can run a towing business when they arent even familiar with the area.
They never answer their phone. I called for assistance at 3:23pm and it is now 9:30pm. First is was 60 mins.. after 1hr and 30 mins. Then it was 15 more minutes. After 30 mins they said he got into a car accident. After 60 more minutes they said 5 minutes. After 25 more mins they said he came and called you twice and left.. No he did not thats fkn bs. I had my phone in my hand all day waiting for them and they never showed. I had put a complaint in for their company and another driver was supposed to come. After waiting another 60 mins...
Had to use these guys when I used USAA roadside assistance. They never came in the 90 minute window. When I called roadside they had the lady on hold so I said let’s move on to another company. Next one I got was recovery services llc and they came in 30m. Statewide is garbage and usaa needs to stop using them.

Waited 42 mins and called back and was told 20 mins away. Waited 37 mins and called back and was told it would be a bit longer because they had other towns to get before me. This tow company consists of rude and ignorant employees, full of false promises and lies. Mitubushi Roadside Assistance sent out Statewide Road Service to help with my car that wouldnt start. The tow company was contacted at 10:30 am. Shortly after, they sent me a text with the ETA as 11:30 am. At 11:20 am an automated call contacted me to inform me the tow truck would be here in 10 minutes. I never received any other updates on their arrival. More than 5 hours, multiple unsuccessful phone calls, and many false promises later...no tow truck ever arrived. I am grateful that my car troubles did not occur on the side of the road because I would have been stranded for hours. I am disgusted and beyond frustrated with the poor customer service this company has provided. I would never recommend this service to anybody. THANK YOU AAA FOR RESOLVING MY ISSUE AND ARRIVING TO HELP ME IN 15 MINUTES!
I had a dead battery. Called for assistance. Was told that they would arrive in 2 hours. Waited over 5 hours. They never showed up. No one answered the phone when I called for an eta update.
This company is the ABSOLUTE WORSE!! Audi contracted this trash of a company and they left me stranded for over 4 hours and never texted back or answered Audis calls. They should not have a license to do business. If your road assistance company uses them, just ask them to call another company for you!! Horrible!!

Is it possible to give them zero stars? Called Chrysler roadside assistance when I locked my keys in my car at a coffee shop on my way to work. Was assigned to statewide with a 90 minute or less time frame. When I tried to call the number provided for status updates, no one answered. It’s currently been about 2 hours since my service request and still no one is here. Now when I go online to check for status updates it won’t even recognize my phone number like they took me out of the system because they were sick of Chrysler roadside calling them for status updates (also not sure how they can get a hold of them but I can’t.) will definitely be putting in a complaint with Chrysler roadside also. They should not be contracted with this terrible company. What horrible customer service!!!
If there was a way to rate zero stars, that’s what this company should get. They were contacted by my roadside assistance company & gave me a 90 minute window. They never showed up, then lied to my company & said they were at my location, couldn’t find me & called me repeatedly but got no answer. All lies. No one ever arrived or called. What an absolutely horrible company & customer service. When I called them back, they were no help at all & lied even more. I hope they go out of business.
By far the worst service!!!!!! I got off work at 5 didnt get a jump start until 7:47 (by a different company) because you all up and decided to cancel my request with the ETA 7:22.. Perfectly fine weather aside from light showers which only lasted minutes. Called them for 30 minutes straight and was put on hold for 8 minutes twice and each time they hung up on me.
Im not sure what kind of drivers they have but they really dont know what they are doing. Progressive sent them out for me to tow my car. I wait for 2 HOURS!!!!! When the driver shows up he was very rude and started off picking up my car from the rear. Its a front wheel drive car so I had to tell him to pick it up from the front so it doesnt damage my transmission (which he replied back with a nasty look) and picked it up the right way. Once we get to the destination he told me he cant park it on a hill. Every tow truck driver Ive ever dealt with has been able to do this behind my house where I wanted him to drop the car. Instead he thought it was a great idea to drop it diagonally in the middle of my driveway and drive off telling me I have to push it where I want it. These 1 star ratings are true. I already reported them to my insurance company and i will never recommend them. They were unprofessional and clearly do not know how to tow vehicles. Use jeanaliz towing. I used them to put my car in the right place and he laughed when I told him about statewides driver. Ive been in the auto business my whole life I shouldnt have to babysit a truck driver and tell him how to pick up and drop and vehicle.
DO NOT USE! I waited on the side of the road for an hour and a half waiting for these people who were set up by my Road Side assistance through insurance. I called initially and spoke to the dispatcher to confirm they had the correct location. She said they did. After the hour and a half quoted by my insurance to the minute these people canceled the job and I had to wait another hour for another company to come assist me. I tried to call the dispatcher back to ask what happened and she didnt answer the phone!! I dont care what I have to do but I am going to get these people removed from my insurance roadside assistance list. If its the last thing I do.
Unscrupulous tow company! Call was dispatched via my roadside assistance at 7am. Received a call at 8:15 from the company that they were 30 minutes away... an hour later I tried to call the number they called me from... surprise.. no answer. Shorty, my roadside app updated stating that tow was complete! I immediately called the roadside service and they proceeded to tell me that the dispatch said they couldn’t locate me and they cancelled... Lies. I spoke with the tow driver and told him my location. No one reached out to me to say they couldn’t find me. Furthermore, I am literally broke down .8 miles from the tow company’s office... clearly they know where I am. It’s shameful that they are doing business and it’s more shameful that they would take advantage of people when they are in an already stressful and vulnerable situation!!!
I waited 2 1/2 hours & they did not show up. Had the nerve to tell Hyundai that they couldn’t find me & had tried to call- LIARS! What’s worse, the dispatcher had told Hyundai at 90 minutes in, that they were on their way.
If your car insurance company selects this company to tow your vehicle, request for a different company, if possible. My insurance company requested a tow from this company, and it was terrible. I initially waited 1.5 hours for a truck. Contacted by my insurance company 30 minutes after the trucks scheduled arrival, and was told truck is on its way but stuck in traffic on 76, and would arrive 45 minutes later. Nearly 2 hours pass, I contact my insurance company. Told the driver was finishing a job and should arrive in 30 minutes. 40 minutes later, called insurance company. Insurance company cancels request and works on finding another tow. I learned later that the truck was on its way to my location, stuck in traffic on 76, but was required to clear vehicles from an accident that delayed the driver. If true, why couldnt Statewide share those details with my car insurance company instead of causing me to wait nearly 6 hours for a tow that wasnt going to happen. Will not ever use.
Canceled without bothering to tell me. Strung me along for 2.5 hours before doing so. If your insurance company gets this company insist they change it. They will screw you over.
Talking to the owner, Neil, is worse than stubbing your toe on a rusty nail. He said dont make your problem my problem. Your company is built on other people car trouble. You own a towing company you asinine human being. I recommend never using this company purely on the basis on this mans stupidity.

Same story, as all the other one star reviews. Called USAA for road side. They told me Statewide would be at my location within an hour. Called Usaa an hour and a half later to check their status, uass said they canceled my call because I did not answer my phone when they called. Total lie.. Called the number usaa supplied me to inquire, no answer.The next company that was disbatched for My road side was fully aware of statewides history of scumbaggery..
Stuck at a dog park in New Jersey with a flat tire. Tries to change myself but tire is stuck. Call USAA and told us they would send out this company within 90 mins. Waited the full time and no calls or anything and the company tells USAA the job was completed. No one showed up or even called us or USAA. Would not recommend this company to even Satan himself.
Connected to Statewide Roadside Assistance through Toyota... They gave an estimated wait time of one hour. I called after an hour and a half. They said they tried to call me. My phone was on and gave no such indication! I called again through Toyota and in their system it showed they were running late... So which one was it? I dont know. Not a company I would recommend. They didnt even try to reconnect me with someone but instead told me to call Toyota back. Unacceptable!!!
Dude, honestly just walk home. This has to be the biggest joke of a company Ive ever had the misfortune of interacting* with. Interacting being a loose term as they never talked to me or answered my calls, but proceeded to lie to my insurance company with excuses and extend their ETA. And here I am three hours later still on the side of the road writing the first google review Ive ever written. Their conduct has to be against the geneva convention or something. Absolute criminals
Terrible service. Requested roadside assistance through my insurance company and they sent these guys. Or at least they ATTEMPTED to send these guys. Sat outside in the heat for 3 and a half hours waiting for even a phone call. I called my insurance company 2 times regarding them taking so long. On the second call, they told me the driver showed up and said the car didnt have a tow hook on it. I was sitting next to the car the whole time, no trucks showed up. I had them send another driver who also never showed. I had to call back a third time to cancel and go with a different company. 0/10 would never ever use these guys again.
I do not recommend Statewide Road Service and would give them zero stars if possible. I locked my keys in my car little after 9pm this evening. Called USAA at 9:16pm; they assigned my roadside assistance service to Statewide Road Service at 9:25pm with an ETA of 10:11pm. I immediately called the number for Statewide Road Service to provide details of my exact location. Despite numerous phone calls, no one answered the phone. Because of USAAs stellar customer service, I assumed that this provider was vetted properly and simply waited patiently for them to show up, resting assured that they would show up by the ETA. USAA provided a link so I could check the status of my request, and I would check it every so often as I waited. I checked it again at about 10:07am, expecting to see an update on the arrival time. I was in utter disbelief to see that the status was showing as completed as of 10:05pm. I was standing by the car the entire time and Statewide Road Service never showed up. I immediately called USAA to inform them of the issue, and a very kind service rep assisted me. She placed me on a brief hold as she contacted Statewide Road Service. A few minutes later, the USAA rep apologized profusely to me, and told me that that the Statewide Road Service rep was extremely rude and defensive, stating that they (Statewide Road Service) were not able to reach me despite numerous attempts and that the technician had arrived on site and departed because I was not at the location (which was entirely untrue, as I had been standing a few feet away from my car, waiting in 43 degree weather in my North Face artic parka for over 40 min). The USAA rep reassured me that this company does not meet the high standards USAA expects from its service providers and apologized again and again for the inconvenience. She assigned another provider (24-Hour Roadside Rescue). The rep for 24-Hour Road Rescue (Brian) answered my phone call after the first ring. He was very professional and reassured me that they were on the way, which was so encouraging especially after my experience earlier. The tech (Corey) arrived well within the ETA and provided prompt and courteous service. In conclusion, based on my experience and the experience of the many reviewers before me, I would absolutely NOT recommend Statewide Road Service and am asking that all insurance companies remove Statewide Road Service from their provider list, for the sake and safety of their customers.
I wish I could choose less than one star for this POS company. NO roadside assistance/ insurance company should outsource this Road Services company for any type of services. They dont answer their phone, dont come to pick up a vehicle when they say they are going to and waste everyones time. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME DEALING WITH THIS SAD EXCUSE FOR A ROAD SERVICES COMPANY.
This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a service organization. They sold me a bum battery less than a year ago. I called to have them replace the battery because my car wouldnt start and they had given me a 2 year warranty. They had someone come out to give me a jump start, but said they didnt have the right battery to replace mine. After not hearing from them a few days later, I tried to follow up. THEY LITERALLY STOPPED ANSWERING CALLS FROM MY NUMBER. When I would call from a different number they would pick up right away. It took me having to use a fake number and name for someone to come out to replace my battery. This company is run by the scum of the earth, DO NOT USE.
Sat in the car for over three hours with children in the and the incompetent driver went to the another location and claimed he couldnt come out. Had to call Ford Roadside and they said they were going to also make a complaint. Its not a surprise they have a 2 rating on Yelp and a 1.5 on Google. The dispatcher had the audacity to hang up on me after stating they wouldnt be servicing us while I was expressing my disapproval. Cant believe Ford would associate themselves with a company that offers such horrific service.
Do not use this company!!!! I waited for a good hour from the time I called to their ETA of 8:39pm before calling back and given a new ETA of 9:24p. The tow arrived at 9:35p, two hours from the time I called! Then, the driver decided to drive my car onto the flat bed and basically crashed my bumper on the flatbed, TWICE! Damaged my paint and all and when i pointed it out his response was, Thats the risk you take in getting a tow... WHAT?! He didnt care at all! I called the company and complained and then called him back to make sure my car was gently taking off and he got loud and hostile with me, upset because I called and complained about the damage he caused! I told him to bring me my car back and he said he was on his way back but never came and instead dropped it off at the dealership anyway. Wont be surprised at all if I find more damage come pick up time. Terrible service!!!!

Was connected to them through PepBoys. I needed a tow at 9pm. Was told they would arrive within two hours. After waiting two hours, I called them multiple times, only to be told the tow truck had broken down and they weren’t sending anyone to get me. They didn’t bother passing that message to me nor PepBoys though prior to me calling. Thanks, good thing I called. Left my car.The next day PepBoys again connected me to this tow company (despite my asking for a different one). At 8:30am I was told they’d get the car within the hour. Long story short, I just got a call from them 4 hours later asking if I still needed a tow. I was told they had just received my request......despite the fact PepBoys and I called multiple times during the morning and no one answered. Don’t ever use this company. There’s a reason they have such a low rating. I’m in disbelief at their unprofessionalism.

I had a bad feeling when my insurance company dispatched them and I was totally right!! I waited one and half hours and they didnt show up, canceled my service without telling me! It was actually my SECOND time they did to me... cant believe they are still in business..
After an accident this towing company was dispatched and confirmed to be on their way. My insurance company followed up when they were told the tow truck was 15 mins out. Apparently the towing company decided they could not tow me from my location so they cancelled the truck and didnt think it was necessary to let me know as I was sitting with my un-drivable car at the administrative building on 90 near the Betsy Ross bridge. The lady I spoke to was rude, couldnt care less that I got screwed by them and gave me non stop attitude. I will never use them again and will be sure to deter anyone I know from using them.
So I got a tow and the tow truck brakes down. Just my luck but this company wont answer phone calls or tell me anything about my car they have been holding my car for a few days now and havent even touched base with us. And I just found out they hire drivers with out drivers license so my car and the tow truck where both impounded
WORST TOW COMPANY EVERY, wait time was 1 hour and 30 mins. Would only answer for my insurance company (PROGRESSIVE) and told them 30 mins on 4 different occasions. When I called never got a answer waited 4 hours and still never arrived. NEVER USE STATE WIDE ROAD SERVICE. I don’t recommend anyone
The lady (thats being nice) who answered the phone her name is Maggie!! She is so rude and unprofessional! I called her and told her that I was still waiting she said they showed up they never did she claims it isnt her job to call the customer so I hung up and called the dispatch they called her again he had her go over the notes she read it and clearly it stated to call me at another number because it was cold outside to wait. I told her she was rude and clearly didnt value her job she wanted to argue with me!!!! Never again will I deal this company MAGGIE should be fired for talking to a customer like that.
