My previous mechanic retired and I did not know where I could Find a trusting mechanic. I feel extremely lucky to have found Dom’s!

I stopped into Dom’s auto shop needing a flapping noise my car was making checked out. Dom and his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they were able to diagnose and fix my problem within 15 minutes. I felt so cared for and respected in their shop. I am very grateful for their generosity and kindness and wholeheartedly recommend their business to anyone looking to get car work done in Philadelphia.

The very best. It is a paradox that I look forward to bringing my car in so I can see Dom! If theres one person you have to trust in this life its your mechanic, and I trust him completely. Hes always taken great care of me and he cares about his customers. Nothing to prove--hes been at this since before I was born.

Condescending and impatient. I felt very talked down to as a woman, he called me “honey” on the phone 🤮 Would not recommend.

This week I got my oil changed here and it was FANTASTIC! The vibe, the people, the level of communication, the timeliness, the fun conversations with Dom and other customers.. Everything was just amazing about this place. I will 100% be a return customer.

Dom’s has been my go-to mechanic since moving to the city after a friend recommended him. He and his team have always provided stellar service, kept it real with me about what is/isn’t necessary (with that classic south philly gruffness), and teach me a little bit more about my car every time I go. His prices are beyond reasonable, and he only works with materials he trusts so I know the parts I’m getting will last. The more times I take my car to him, the more convinced I am I’ll never take my car to another mechanic in the city. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would!

Best of Philly in my opinion. Im blessed to live right up the street from Doms shop and hes always there for me when I need help. Quick, honest, trustworthy, and a really great guy who genuinely cares about his customers and the neighborhood. Ive stopped in a few times for tire issues and hes helped me out every time. While youre waiting for your car, he offers great conversation about damn near anything and even explains exactly what the guys in the back are doing. Love this guy; truly a stand-up character and Im glad to be his neighbor.

I needed to get safety and emissions inspections done fairly quickly and being new to the area I decided to give Dom a try since hes right up the street from me. He was able to get me in the very next morning after I called, and the whole process was quick and easy! Hes a straight shooter and I believe he really cares about his customers; I felt appreciated after I left his shop. Dom will definitely be my go to mechanic in the future.

For as long as I live in Philadelphia (and honestly maybe even after) I will take my car to Doms Auto Repair. Ive been a customer at Doms for a few years now. Ive had my brakes done there, every inspection, Ive gotten mirrors and tires replaced - you name it. Dom and his team have been nothing short of pleasant and professional every time. And his prices are extremely reasonable! I cant recommend him enough. If you live in the area, give Dom a call, you wont regret it!

I moved to Philly from out of state and was recommended to go to Doms by a few Philly natives! He will shoot you straight and is a hard, honest worker. Ive tried dealerships and other mechanics, but Dom is the guy to see. He will talk you through everything you need, but give you honest options on whats necessary and cost effective.

Honest mechanic, can usually get you in the next day. Wont do major work without checking first & actually showing you, if possible.

Mr. Dom made sure to lay everything out to me before they went in to service my car, was diligent in getting me the correct parts, and went above and beyond to give me advice how to care for my car! Definitely coming back here!

Dom is a prickly guy lol. I made an appointment (you have to make an appointment). I got there real early and no street parking I was first so I figured Ill pull into his driveway that leads to garage. I went like 2 miles an hour because its a tight fit. He glared at me and said, Dont ever pull into my shop like that again!. I was stunned. It took all I had not to leave. A good friend recomended him to me. Anyway I went a few times and he did good work. Until he put a left side ball joint on the right side lmao. Funny noise. Also Dom sells tires and he refuses to repair a tire because he wants you to buy a new tire from him. Thats not nice.
