This place gets 0/5 stars from me. 2018-ONGONING PROBLEM STILL EXISTS 2021!!!I HAD TO PUT IN A NEW CLAIM TO HAVE THE REPAIR THEY DID REPAIRED!!! A Mess! Extremely poor communication and misinformation. I was told my car would be ready in a week... DIDNT GET UNTIL 3 WEEKS LATER! THEN MY CAR WAS NOT EVEN REPAIRED PROPERLY. THE DOOR CRACKED AND HAD TO TAKE BACK. DOOR CRACKED AFTER SECOND REPAIR. FOUND OUT LATER THEY USED TOO MUCH PAINT FILLER!!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!..I DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend this place. Photo shows how the bad repair job resulted in damage to my door that had to be re repaired!

I cannot believe this place is still open! My husband took my BMW there a few years ago. One of the workers saw the damage on my car and recommended bringing it in, I believe his name may have been Reese. Initially there were delays with when it would be ready. Then we had issues getting in touch with them. The work was horrible. They said they were going to use new parts-needless to say they used the same parts and repainted the door. When my husband went to talk to them about this they threatened him with a weapon. I see some things havent changed. Now they even have a sign outside, we thought they went out of business. Beware they talk a good game but they dont deliver. Stay away even if youre desperate. Another reviewer said it best-if I could give them a big fat 0 stars I would!

BE CAREFUL WITH THESE SCAMMERS!!! They listen in on police radio so they can be the first on the scene to tow your car. Once they have it in their possession theyll tell you theyll tow your car for free, then hold it hostage for over a month, never return your calls, then hit you with over $1,500 in storage fees if you dont use them to repair your car. Youre better off towing your wrecked car home and getting an estimate. I cant even get my car back unless I allow them to extort me over a thousand dollars after I physically went to the office and called numerous times with no reply. What a terrible way to run a business.

Horrible experience. They ripped me off while I just got my car totaled. I was a mess, injured, concussed and they had me quickly sign my car away to them. They towed it half a block to their center and charged me 540$. What?! Never go there. They are horrible, rude, manipulative, extortionists!!

I was in an accident with another car, my car was towed to Broad Street Collision. If called several times, I left a message with a real person, but no one has gotten back to me concerning the estimate for the damage to my car. My insurance company said I was not at fault, so I’m waiting for the other insurance co of the person who hit my car to assess the damage. This is such a racket. If my car was drivable I would move it. Meanwhile I’m racking up storage fees. Somebody help! This is so unfair! Can somebody from this place call me back!I just want to give an update!!!As of today 11/20/18, I’m so happy with the repair work done at Broad Street Collision. My 2003 Jeep is back to it’s original appearance. Thank you so much! Vanessa was so much help with the insurance claim and the mechanic did a wonderful job. The service with Broad Street Collision has been amazing. From the receptionist to the work and detail done on my vehicle. I was in an accident and my vehicle was towed to this auto body/collision repair shop and upon my arrival I was given five star treatment. Everyone was extremely helpful and genuinely nice with each interaction. Every step of the process was thoroughly explained to me and I was informed and updated of every decision being made. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. This is the epitome of a great business and amazing customer service!Thanks for everything!

Got into a accident about a year totalled my car they took it and then dumped it in West Philly got a ticket and called about it and now their phone dont work. Will not do any business with them

If I could give them no stars, I would chose that option. Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN that paper they ask you to sign in the beginning because that will allow them to still get paid in full if you decided to go with a better collision shop. When you guys read this review, please take my advice. This is by far the worst collision shop in Philadelphia. They have lied to me over the phone several times, they do not take accountability for their actions, and they very poor communication skills. I never received a phone call telling me my truck was there. They never called to update me on the status of my truck as it was “being repaired “. They told my truck was completed over the phone, but my husband went to the shop in person and spoke with the owner he told the truth about what still needed to be done. Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN that paper they ask you to sign in the beginning because that will allow them to still get paid in full if you decided to go with a better collision shop. RUN FAST 💨

On February 12th, 2019 I was in a pretty bad motor vehicle accident. Someone from Broad Street Collision showed up at the scene of the accident and while I wasnt in a right state of mind, asked me to sign papers giving them permission to tow the vehicle right before I was whisked away in an ambulance. Tim, the tow guy who showed up, assured me that the insurance would cover everything and basically made me feel emotionally comfortable at an emotionally vulnerable time, with leaving my vehicle under the care of the business he was representing.Once I was released from the hospital and started working on getting my vehicle repaired, they were very responsive and helpful. However, once my husband and I signed the dotted line entrusting them with the care and repair of our vehicle, everything changed. Initially, we would call the office and would be told someone would return our call but no one ever did. Eventually, they stopped picking up our call altogether. We had to get rides to the location to find out what the status of our vehicle was because no one EVER answered our calls and we couldnt get the status of the repairs, unless we showed up in person. They gave us the runaround telling us multiple times that the wrong parts were being sent to them and that they were waiting for supplemental insurance to kick in, which may very well have been true, except that they used the same line 4 different times. So 4 different companies send you 4 wrong parts? It seemed suspect. 3 months in and after an angry outburst on behalf of my husband, they put us in touch with someone named Vanessa and she proved to be helpful by keeping us in the loop. Unfortunately, this lasted for less than a week and she stopped responding to our calls as well. On June 3rd, 2019, almost 4 months after having our truck in their possession, we got a ride to the shop. I ignored the fact that the receptionist had her feet propped up on a radiator with two different cell phones in hand, had a nasty attitude, and seemed to be more interested in her phones than my questions. When I expressed my frustration at not being able to get in touch with anyone for MONTHS, her response was a curt, were busy. She called someone and turned to my husband and I to deliver the news; our car was ready! I was so happy! Finally the end of the tunnel. Except, it wasnt. When we saw our car, we noticed a big dent on the back of the truck that hadnt been there previously. The impact of the accident was on the front end of the vehicle and we have photos showing that. There was NO dent on the side of the truck bed at the time of the accident. Additionally, the color they used to paint the replacement front panel was a darker blue than what our truck actually is. AND, the icing on the cake is that the brakes dont function properly, The car jumps multiple times every time we press the brake. Also, the anti-freeze and windshield wiper fluid leak right out when poured in. This business should not be trusted AT ALL. I would not recommend this place if youre looking to have your vehicle back in a timely manner and/or, if youre looking to get your vehicle back in good condition. Highly unsatisfied customer. If I could give them less than 1 star, I absolutely would.

Got my car towed there because I was hit and when I told them my insurance company will be taking the car they didn’t wanna give me my own car back kept telling me I should keep it here and apparently there wasn’t no paperwork saying my car was there after I clearly seen my car 😒

These people are some shady characters..they will randomly show up at sites to tow vehicles without being called & charge ridiculous fees/prices without explaining or telling you first. I recommend getting repairs/towing services through your insurance if you have good coverage or researching to find a better option. Think twice before you let them touch or take your vehicle!

I NEVER write a review even with terrible service but after the constant problems, attitudes and absurdity from the girls that work the front desk I have to leave a review to warn people of how horrible this place is.My car was towed here after a bad car accident and since then I have been having NON STOP problems with this company, from never answering their phones to losing my key and thinking they can fool me with a Mitsubishi key fob to never emailing me a report of what my car needs to get done. They are a complete mess. All they want is money and dont care about their customers or have any type of customer service skills.DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE OR HAVE IT TOWED HERE, youre rather off leaving it wherever you are then taking it to this sh-t hole.

They did a decent job. Took a little longer than expected but my car is good. Heck they fixed a pre existing problem. No complaints and didnt charge a deductible.

Had an accident and my insurance (liberty mutual) sent my car here. It was there an entire month, and when I got it back the air conditioning no longer worked and there was a piece of plastic moulding missing from under the headlight. So I brought it back. They put the plastic piece in (they had lost it in the shop) and charged the air conditioner with freon. When I got it home for the second time, I heard a hissing when I turned off the car. Next time I got in, no air conditioning. So I took it back again. This was right before the 4th of july, so I knew I wouldnt get the car back until Friday. The receptionist informed me as much. I went to pick up the car Friday and guess what? All the mechanics called out. I had tried calling, but nobody answered the phone. When I got there, two people were sitting in the office. They could have answered the phone and saved me 40 bucks in ubers. My car was sitting in the locked lot with the bumper still off. Fast forward to the following Tuesday when I picked it up. 3 bics were missing from the car, and many things were pulled out of the center console and moved into the glovebox, moved around, it looked as if somebody had broken in looking for a quick buck. Worst garage experience of my life. Im changing my insurance for sending the car there in the first place.P.s. American Joeys towing showed up at the scene of my accident and acted really nice and helpful, but clearly is involved in some sort of racket with this shop. Nobody on the straight and narrow would recommend this place knowing how they handle their business.

Worst tow service I have ever received. Im not the one to write reviews but this place deserves to close down. Apparently any idiot in Philly can run a business and not close down it seems. This place had affiliations with collision centers who are unprofessional like these guys. I ended up with $800 store and towing fees within 4 days because they made me run around with wrong information. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Broad st collision came thru in the clutch for me, they were always pleasant with me when ever I called or came in to the shop, they took great care of my car and great care of me due to my circumstances, they worked with me with my deductible, I would recommend anyone to go I had an exceptional experience 😁😁😁

My car was hit from the back by too other cars and as soon as called 911 A million Agressive tow trucks showed up and started harassing for our business.This happened on January 23 at 7:32 @ night.They told us cops dont should up to accidents they call tow trucks to handle it.There was literally 15 towing companies competing for our business.I got hit in the rear and that was all the damage that was done to my car.The front and sides were untouched and not damaged.They towing company we went with was Broad Street collision since they said the car was undrivable and they had to tow it to clear the road.We though we were in good hands and signed our car over to them.The accident was not my fault so the other two cars were @ fault for hitting my car.We went down to the police station and filed a report since the towing company said they would not come to the accident scene,because they are people getting shot and worse things happening.So we filed a police report and got the 2 other people insurances.I called my insurance the next day and reported the accident,send them pictures and such.I looked up the reviews of who told our car and they had bad reviews.My Insurance company send dont worry we will transport your car to one of our shops.Feb 1 we decided to have it towed to Caliber Collision and our Insurance company USAA said we dont have to do anything they would handle it.Well we get a phone call from Caliber they shop who towed our car from Broad Street Collision and they said the front end was damaged.This was not from the 3 car collision on Jan 23 when I got rear ended.This was fresh new damage done by the towing company who towed my car on Feb 1 and they damaged my car.I only took pics of the where the car got damaged in the original accident I got hit from the back and the front of my car was fine.Broad Street Collision and Caliber both deny the damage they caused to my Car. My insurance wont fix it until we pay the deductible.We are not responsible for the front damage to my car and the both collision centers are denying it happened.What do I do to get my car fixed without having to pay the deductible?How can I prove that they did this damage to my car when I didnt take any pics because they was no damage to the front of my car before they towed it.I only took pics of the back where my car was hit from the original accident.Plus the go by American Joeys towing so they dont have to pay taxes.They are Broad Street Collision their other name....They are SHADY Shiesters!

Very unprofessional!!! I wouldn’t put any stars but I had to put at least one to post the review. My car was hit in front of my door n they towed my car where I asked them but never gave my key to the Collision place where my car was. I tried to call the office all day and no one ever answers the phone. My daughter car was also hit and was supposed to go to the same place as mine but they decided to tow my car to there shop a half hour away from my house. Why would that even make sense to go that far to get your car fixed when there are tons of shops near my hous. Again we tried to call all day to have my daughters car releases to the insurance company and again no one answers the phone. The worst service I ever had. How do you have a business and never answer the phone or returned either of our calls?

Do not go here please dont go here I requested my car get sent to another shop somehow it didnt go and since it was towed to broad street they fixed it .I never gave them permission to.it was almost 2 months before my car was fixed.I got my car back after two months and the chevk engine light just came on. my insurance company says take it back to shop I REFUSE TO so i can be out of a car for another 2 months. im just gone trade it in. I believe my car was totaled but they still fixed it to get paid. it swervs after a certain speed, the engine troubles to start and it was just fixed or replaced.My freind also went here they had his car for months and it still wasnt fixed. smh

Better off going to junkyard

Sent my car there with a damage to the back left side of my car. They towed my car and ripped off a HUGE piece of my bumber. They made it seen as if they got the car that way and even made up their own versions of the accident saying we spun out of control. ONE GUY WHO WORKS THERE EVEN MENTIONED THAT THE TOW POSSIBLY DID IT. They stuck us with it and now we have to pay more damages on top of it. The kicker is, our insurance claim was only for that part because that was the only damage left from the accident and yet they still want to say we hit something. Worst customer service, terrible mechanics and terrible people. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, even if it were the last place on earth

My girl was in an auto accident. Broad St collision was on location. I let them tow my vehicle once I arrived to the auto accident scene. It was drivable but the insurance company said it was ok to let them take it. My insurance company said they will get the car out. I went on my own after reading all the negative reviews. I didnt want my car being put back together with used parts from the junk yard while they charge the insurance company for new parts. When I went to their address there was no one inside the building. No one in the offices. Just an empty building. A guy walked in after about 10 minutes. Asked if he can help me. I said I wanted to pick up my vehicle. He said why dont you just let the insurance company pay to get it out because they will pay anything they send them. He wanted to charge more money to the insurance company. I said no Im good. Finally he went into one of the offices and sat at a computer. He said he didnt know how to work the computer and couldnt get a print out of the charges. He then proceeded to write down the charges. The total was outrageous. He said I would have to pay about $1,000 to take my car out. I was being charged $40 a day storage fee, $150 tow fee, a clean up fee, office fee, and some other made up fees. I had my towed slip. By law, the signed agreement said I couldnt be charged more than $25 a day for storage. 4 days for storage= $100. The max tow fee on the slip was $40 or $50. Thats $150. The tow truck driver didnt clean anything up at the scene as I grabbed my bumper myself. The guy asks me who really charges $50 for tow? I said thats on the signed agreement. Clearly states what they charge so he said what you think you owe. I said 4 days of storage, tow fee, and if you want to charge an office fee when no ones in the office then go ahead but that doesnt add up to $1,000. He said I can pay $700 because the insurance company would pay me back. They will just keep writing checks he said. I said no. He went down to $500. I said no. He went down to $300 and I agreed just to get my car out and get it to my insurance company preferred garage to start the process of getting fixed. Well there was no secretary in the building so this guy pulls out his phone with a credit card swipe reader. I said whats that. He said thats how we accept payments. I said ok. I paid the $300 and walked over to get my vehicle. It was sitting in a large lot with about 100 other damaged cars. Just sitting there not getting fixed. I was glad I was getting my car back. The whole time I was there 3 or 4 guys came over to see what was happening. They were asking the guy why I was taking my car. They knew they were loosing money by me taking it. The biggest mistake was letting them take my car in the 1st place. Then I didnt get a receipt from him. I watched my credit card charge and was surprised it didnt have the Broad Street Collision name as the company but the guys name. I then disputed the charge as I think he was trying to scam me.DO NOT LET THEM TOW VEHICLE!Use your insurance companies towing.

Update: I was in an accident in Sept. 2018. My car was rear ended while parked. A friend of mine referred me to BSC. My ins. co. paid to reconstruct the rear end and trunk. Oh what a mistake. Six months later, my car still isnt done right. First let me start with how no one ever answers the phone, but when you get there someone is sitting in every office. They open at 8am but I dont know what time they start answering phones. I had mold in the spare tire compartment from a leak because of bad repairs. The taillight fixture had water in it and a short. Instead of fixing the taillight they smeared some type of solution over the back of it which bonded the screws to the housing and made it impossible to remove, I guess they figured I wouldnt notice that. Bob assured me Nissan didnt sell the housing separately, which I found unbelieveable so I decided to research the part myself. What do you know, Nissan does sell the part, their fully stocked and gave me a printout of the part and price. My turn signal didnt work. Paint job is horrible. The gas tank door doesnt lock anymore. The paint on the quarter panel is chipping, and the blending is noticeable. I have overspray all over the car, windows & inside door panels. The trunk was repaired incorrectly, I had to slam it down hard to close it. They were suppose to change two of my rims but I dont think they did. Bob tells you anything he thinks you want to hear. Him, the manager/son Jay and the manager/daughter Taylor gave me their personal number as a courtesy then stopped answering my calls and texts. Bob never answered then said oh if you want to reach me you have to text me, then didnt respond to my text.To date, the taillight fixture is fixed, minus the screws that holds the light in the housing, I guess they forgot those. The trunk lid is fixed. The leak is fixed, after I had to let them know where the leak was. I had to clean the mold out the spare tire compartment myself. I asked them to at least replace the wood plank in the trunk because of the mold, I guess they forgot that too. The overspray is cleaned off except for the inside door panels and tape is still all over the inside. Just today 3/9/19 Bob told me to bring the car in and assured me the chipped paint and the overspray would be finished today as I waited. What do you know, No Bob! Again I drove all the way there for nothing as Ive done on so many occasions. Honestly, I dont know how they are still in business. I tried to be as patient as possible. Ive literally dealt with almost every employee here from the owner down to the secretaries. Shout out to Amin and Kuntry for doing all they could to rectify the situation. Other than them no one else was of any help. This is a 0 star shop. Do not have your car repaired here unless your ready for a headache.

The only reason their even is a star is because i cannot post none at all. Shut down this dreadful place!!!!!! My dad fixed my car here and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever went through with a body shop. The paint did not match, my bumper looks repaired even though it was paid to be replaced, and their office girls just have the nastiest attitudes and poor vocabulary. STAY AWAY FROM BROAD STREET COLLISION !!!

Dont handle business properly

I had the misfortune of having my car towed to this establishment after an auto accident. I left items in my car that I couldnt take at the scene. My intentions were to go to their shop and retrieve my items right away, but because their hours are non accomdating for the average working adult I had to wait until I built up some time off to go. The day I went I was greeted by a very friendly secretary ( I dont remember her name) who assisted me on the search for my car in their lot. The car could not be found. I go back into the building and speak to a Mrs. Cooper who assured me the car was there because her records indicated the insurnace company had not come and pick the car up yet (it was deemed a total loss). After all search events came up fruitless, Ms. Cooper states that its a possiblity that the insurnace company came and picked up the car after she left, to take to a salvage lot where they wont be charged. I called the insurance adjuster and she states that in order for my car to be released to a salvage lot, the auto repair center would need to get permission from the owner (me). She then looks at my file and says It says here a Ms. Cooper said you gave authorization to release the car. I NEVER gave authorization to release the vehice, and was never contacted by anybody at Broad Street Collision. I had to drive over an hour to the salvage lot to pick up my belongings all because my car was released without my knowledge or permission. Then on top of it, i stupidly left $27 in my money box that I keep in my business bin( small business owner) and the money was stolen out of it. Now on top of having to waste gas to go somewhere my car shouldnt have been, I have to use additional energy filing a police report against them.

Someone is going to get hurt with this business remaining open. Work so shoddy it is dangerous.

Worst auto body shop in the city....i suggest nobody goes there

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. My car was brought in just under 2 months ago and is still not finished. The insurance company paid them for work that they have not completed and they dont seem to care. When you call they give you the run around and say that someone will call u back but they never do and the manager Vanessa is not any better. My husband and I paid a visit to the repair shop after weeks of not getting a straight answer on the status of our car. Vanessa, who apparently has time to not get in until 2:00, assured us that our vehicle would be completed the next day at 5:00 and she would personally be there to walk us to our car and ensure that everything went smoothly. Well the next day around 3:45 we get a phone call from some random person in the office stating that our car was not ready to be picked up, and furthermore there were no tags and we would need to go to an auto tag place to get some before the car could be driven off the lot. So not only have they had the car for 2 months they lost or maybe even stole my tags and now I have to put out more money. These people are scam artists STAY AWAY!!!
