Every leasing agent in the main office has been nothing but helpful and welcoming to me ever since I set foot on the property! Tatyana, Sierra, Mo, Rebecca, Kishana, and Ady are seriously elite staff here
I recommend working with Adylene Melendez In the leasing office if you are looking to rent with Oxford Village. She really went above and beyond to make sure that my rental process was smooth and easy. Her personality was a plus ! This woman made sure I felt welcomed and comfortable to reach out to her with any questions or concerns and even helped me get acclimated to the general area as she has lived in Philly for a while . She was very professional, down to earth, considerate and kind hearted. I will miss doing business with her and seeing her smiling face around the neighborhood as I’ve moved on and out of state to begin my career! Wishing her and the whole team the very best.... my time spent living there was a really great experience and I am so glad that I chose to rent with them vs other local options within the same price range. If you can’t get Addy, Muhammad is a perfect gentleman and has been super helpful to me I also.
I had a very great experience when I came to look for an apartment with my mom. I spoke with Tytyana and she was very nice and helpful!
Great comfortable living. Useful and attentive staff. Very close to Temple main campus and main septa bus and train lines.
Ask for Tytyana she has been very helpful & such a nice girl 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 She’s also a student so she’s much more relatable than the other workers
The property is very close to Temple, clean, and safe. What really set Oxford Village apart from other locations was the staff. They were attentive, walking us through the process very well. Any issues we are ran into were immediately addressed and they were patient with all calls and questions. No doubt that wed rent from them again.
I am currently a sophomore at Temple University and living here has been such a great experience. The staff are really helpful and funny and I love that the staff found a way connect with the residents even with Covid-19. They take Covid-19 very serious and I feel very secure being here. Living off campus at first was a little scary because I am only a second year student but Oxford Village has become my second home. I look forward to spending the remainder of my time here!
I ran into a problem with an apartment i had signed a lease for. There was just some miscommunication with what my monthly rent was. I called this support number for assistance and i spoke with someone who was very rude to me and didnt try to help my situation. After calling again i spoke to Ms. Ady and she provided me with great customer service. She was polite and made sure i could understand everything that was in my lease. Anyway the place is just ❤ and clean. Thank you Ms. Ady for all your help. You are great at what you do! Also thank you Mouhamad & big up to all the crew 🙏
The staff was very helpful, namely Aja, In responding to Multiple Move-in questions promptly by phone. The Move- in was quick and easy. Staff is very friendly. Two maintenance issues, air conditioning, were handled within minutes of reporting it. Staff guided us to find laundry facilities and place for trash. We will definitely recommend Oxford Village Temple!
Me and my roomate were looking for a place and within 24 hours we signed the lease and moved in! Ady was so welcoming and so much help we had a billion questions and she answered every single one and was so helpful throughout the entire process. Even after moving in we still come to her for any concern and she gets back to us so quick. The building is walking distance from everything and it’s an overall convenient location.
When I was moving in, it was stressful! However, Ady made it very easy to move in. She definitely helped with my anxiety. She was welcoming, patient & went above and beyond to make sure my move in was easy. I appreciate her !
The staff is friendly and always candid. I have lived here for two academic years now, and I have no significant complaints. The service with the maintenance claims is just EXCEPTIONAL. It fits perfectly with the reality of a student. It may be a bit expensive compared to the rest of the nearby options. Still, the security, service, and features justify its value -to some extent. It has fulfilled my expectations so far.
This is my first year living at Oxford Village and I have been very happy here. Everyone in the leasing office is kind and willing to help. The maintenance team responds to requests and fixes any issues in a very timely manner. It is also close to campus which is extremely efficient.
Ive been living at Oxford Village since January 2019 and overall have had a very comfortable and positive experience:- Perfect location on edge of campus: 10 minute walk to classes- Helpful and competent staff; secure package delivery and pickup- Great Security: Well lit street, RFID door lock sensors, and direct dial to police in each bedroom- Good Amenities: Laundry machines are always efficient and they recently installed a small gym that can be accessed 24/7- Rent includes all utilities; electric has a threshold but its difficult to go over- Maintenance request system is efficient; Ive had minimal issues with plumbing and appliances- Bedroom size is cozy while still being just the right amount of space
I helped my daughter move in over the weekend and it was a great experience. The staff were helpful and friendly and I enjoyed the refreshments they kindly offered on a very hot day. The apartment was clean and attractive. The management on 8/18 responded quickly to our concerns of a missing piece of furniture and another minor issue with the rug that I’m confident will get resolved. The roommates are very pleased with this experience so far and so am I ! Thanks to all those who helped us that day.
This is a good place to live with an affordable rent. The leasing office is friendly and willing to help with anything. The apartment is in good shape and maintenance is fast and effective.
They are not giving deposits back, and also they send bad checks
Everyone is welcoming and friendly, and one of the cheapest places I could find that close to campus
Ive been living here since august 2019 and ive really enjoyed my time here. The rent is a little expensive, but considering that the apartment comes furnished and all utilities are included its not too bad.
Absolutely horrible place to live. They charge you a ridiculous amount for things that do not work as promised. I lived there for three years and our toilet broke a total of 10 times. It was never fixed properly. They nickle and dime you for EVERYTHING and they do not care about legality apparently. I moved out in July and still have not gotten any security deposit back from them. Though I did receive a ridiculous bill for cleaning services. Ive tried calling MULTIPLE times now to ask why the bill for cleaning cannot be taken out of my security deposit money and no one ever picks up. I leave a voice mail every time and no one ever returns the calls. I honestly am starting to think theyre ignoring my calls about getting back whats legally due to me until they can turn the cleaning bill over to collections, effectively screwing me over. Dont waste your time or money here, theyre a bunch of hyped up, 20-something extortionists.
This is the worst place I have ever lived. I have been to many friends apartments within the area. Trust me for the same price you can live somewhere 10 times nicer. They dont clean them in-between residents so they are filthy. Also theyre cheaply made so things break constantly and the uninformed staff will never fix it. They came three times to fix my garbage disposal before they actually did it correctly. Theyre also rude. When you visit they will show you a nice office and great you with a smile, the apartment they show you is also nice. Dont worry its a ruse. They are gross, at over priced, and not worth a cent of your time.
Lived here for my freshman year while attending temple university. The apartments are very roomy and clean when you first move in and all of the staff are very nice. Overall you cant beat what your getting for the price with all amenities included
Location is right beside the college so youre close to all lecture halls and amenities. Management is quick to reply and very attentive to all questions questions.
The employees are the most patient people Ive ever delt with, and the rooms are very neat and comfortable, they always make sure they email you in advance before coming in to your room to check for any damage, if there are any theyll make sure it gets fix. I recommend Oxford village to any college student thats looking to study here in Philadelphia. you wont regret it.
I hate this place. Dont move here. If you have the money its fine it can be a safe and comfortable place to stay but I feel like I am paying way too much to live here than Im getting out of it. Sure the wifi, and the utilities are free (except for electricity) but I feel like its not worth it for the price. I currently pay 800 plus dollars to live here a month and so does my roommate. We have separate rooms and live in the same apartment yet we are paying $800 plus dollars a month separately, what a scam. When we first inquired about the room we were both under the impression that the rent would be split among the two of us like a normal apartment, we were wrong.
This place was a great home during my time at Temple University. I miss it so much! The units are furnished and they spend a lot of time making the units nice for move ins. All inclusive utilities, many community events, and a very polite staff. Before I moved out this summer, they even added super fast internet and cable package with more channels. Plus, it was all only a 5 minute walk from campus!!! Its also probably the safest block in the area and theres so many food choices, its near the subway, bus stops, fresh grocer, and rite aid! You cant beat the features for the price!
Great location
The building itself is very dirty, it smells you can tell it is never cleaned. The rooms are gross stains in the carpet they smell the bathrooms are even worse! The kitchen was very dirty and half the things didnt even work. People always puke in the hallways and when you call to have someone clean it up nobody answers or calls you back and its left there for days. I would not recommend
This place is a terrible place to live. They love ripping off students and their families. I lived here for a year and for that entire time, the air conditioner in the front of my house was broken, even though I complained multiple times. I had bug problems and mouse problems, which they didnt fix for nearly 2 week after being notified. I was very sick the week before moveout, and they wanted to charge me $150 because I moved out 2 hours late. You will NEVER get your security deposit back. Also, I had to get a certified letter from a lawyer to get my service requests fulfilled. Please dont waste your time or your money!
Great location, great office, and overall great apartment! Would recommend to any Temple students.
This might be one of the worst places to live on campus. We were promised to have renovations done to our apartment before we moved in and when i came to move in on my selected day there was a huge ban saw and saw dust all over the living room. They did not complete the backsplash in the bathroom or the kitchen until after thanksgiving. The new windows that they put in do not open more than an inch and i had no working AC in my room until the winter had finally rolled around. The wifi is terrible, most nights when i run a speed test it reads at 5mb/s which is slower than your cell phone. The office is unresponsive and this place seems like a scheme to pry whatever money they can out of their tenants before their lease is up. Do not look here, Do not Rent here!!!
I love this place so much now, the new manager darryl is an amazing boss who treats his customer with respect and he tries his best to make sure the residents are taken care of, also appreciate the workers there. I believe their names are oni and moe, they really helped me get threw these extra years of living here.
Very expensive, but i like how everything i need is close by .. access to public transport .. restaurants.. grocery, pharmacy ..The building itself has a laundromat that cost 1.5 dollar per wash and another 1.5 dollar for every use of the dryer..The office doesnt tell you about everything your going to pay untill you sign something that compells you to pay what you owe them .. so ask about deposits and other fees and make absolutely sure that you got ever bit of info you can get ..The room situation, it all depends on your room-mate if youre not taking a single room apt .. Ive been fortunate to have a clean tidy room mate that keeps the place how it should beThe room has enough space to be comfortable in .. the bed is ok .. Im 62 and weigh 270 pounds .. the size is just about right .. if Im not carefull at all i might roll and fall .. but just a little bit of effort will keeps you safr if youre as big as i amMy main complaints are the desk chairs they have .. its wood and metal, not so good for the posture or your back and butt .. thin walls .. and no lights inside the rooms, so i had to buy desk lamps and stuff ..The internet is free .. and i believe they give electricity allowance .. so if you exceed a certain amount, youll pay for it .. Ive been here for 2 and a half months and i havent had an increase in my monthly payments..NOTE:-The website they use for payments and other services will charge you 22 dollars everytime you make a payment, so it would be wise to pay a couple of months or more in advance
Close to campus and anything you could need! Very friendly staff!! Would recommend!
This place sucks! From the day I moved in Ive had more than a handful of problems. The toilet is constantly clogging, the washing machines are always out of service, the Wi-Fi is trash, and from the day I moved in the chairs in my apartment have been broken. While some of the staff is wonderful, others are extremely rude and talk down to you. However, I feel the worst thing about Oxford village is how they treat the disabled. I have a service dog, and they are trying to make me get rid of him, as well as fining me, and threatening me with eviction. The list of problems my roomate and I have had while living here are endless. So if you want to live in a place that looks really nice, but you will feel miserable in every day, by all means live at Oxford village. You will hate your experience almost as much as they hate people with handicaps.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! I cannot emphasize that enough. The apartments are awful for the price you pay and they will nickel and dime you for absolutely everything that they can. If you have mice in your apartment you can try to request maintenance and they may or may not come out. They have students running the main office and the manager is extremely rude. Once we were told by the manager that he is allowed to add whatever he wants to our lease after we had already signed it (dont think he understands the concept of legal documents). The internet that is included is extremely slow if you can get it; we dont even get any connection in 75% of our apartment. Will most definitely NOT be living here next year, my lease could not end sooner.
The apartments are nice and maintenance is friendly and for the most part efficient. With the apartments being redone with hardwood floors and new furniture they are very nice inside. The price however is a bit steep and my car did get hit even in the PAID FOR parking lot they supply. Utilities are included which is nice, however the internet is so slow that you cannot get any school work done. Beyond that if you wanted to watch a show on netflix or play a game forget it. Most of the time it doesnt work at all and you cannot get a different provider as they are locked on a contract with HotWire and supply Wireless communication only. Besides the internet basic cable is included and can be upgraded to HD with a box that you can purchase extra from HotWire. Overall the apartments are a nice place to live if you want to have a place extra close to Temples Camps that still gives you that feel of not living at school.
Oxford village is a great apartment complex with friendly staff
Decent rent and close enough to campus.
Awesome place to live!
Good
