Judy was well informed, listened to the final arrangements that my wife and I desired. She explained how the events that were planned would occur. She explained the cost and the options available to pay each service.

During this time of loss I would like to thank the staff of Striffler Hamby. Rhonda and Mark Brennon took the time to provide excellent correspondence in regards to the preparation of my sons arrival. In addition, they were amazing during the visitation ensuring that all of our family and friends felt welcomed. I just want to say the ladys at Striffler Hamby are so sweet and nice they really help us out unfortunately my grandma passed away and wasnt sure how everything was gonna work outbut it did thanks to them, they took the time to explain everything and answer all our questions very compassionate staff thank you again for everything you did for us.💛

We had 2 precious family members pass away suddenly in 2 days. Striffler Hamby and the loving people that handled both of our services were caring, consistent and professional. Ms. Judy was a blessing to our families and went above and beyond to get both ladies laid to rest in a timely manner. My husband and I are getting our affairs in order and will have Striffler Hamby take care of all our needs in the future.

Judy at Striffler-Hamby was a Godsend when my Mom passed. She told me exactly what I needed to do, and she took care of everything else. I would not have gotten through it without her.

After the sudden death of my Brother-in-law, my wife and I met with Miss Judy, who was spectacular. We had to change a few arrangements based on some other family members requests, and once again, she did everything that we asked. It was specified that after the cremation, that I would be the person picking up his remains. Miss Judy told us that she wouldnt be there for the memorial service as she had other arrangements, which we certainly understood.The part that dropped them to 4 stars instead of 5, was that an older woman who works there called my Sister-in-law/the widow (instead of me) to tell her that the remains were ready to be picked up. It was very upsetting for her, because we told her that, We had taken care of everything, and shed scarcely be involved.

Judy and her staff were very helpful during a rough time in our life. Very understanding and attentive. Great staff!

Working with Will and Judy made a difficult time easier. They were responsive to our needs and addressed concerns. They were very sweet and helpful and followed up to make sure we received everything we needed.

Recently, my Grandmother passed away unexpectedly. When we were asked which funeral home we preferred, we knew exactly who we wanted! Striffler-Hamby! From the beginning of this awful process to the end and even after the staff here was amazing. They answered all of our questions, made sure we had thought of everything and even checked in on us a few weeks after the funeral!This was a very tough time in my family’s life, However they definitely made it as easy as possible. Everyone at Striffler-Hamby was sooo nice to us when Mama passed. I dont know who did her make-up but she was beautifully done and her hair was curled just like Mama would have wanted it. The staff could not have been any nicer or helpful during our time of loss. Thank you all.

This is the second time in 2 years I have had to deal with Striffler-Hamby. Both times have been as good of an experience as possible. Last year I dealt mostly with Judy and this year mostly with Will. They both make a bad time in a persons life a little bit better. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

At a time when decision making is difficult, Will and Judy presented options that met our needs. They were courtious and sympathetic to our grief and loss of our parents. They followed up with us and are still available even after the r secices are completed.

This is my first experience at the location in Phenix City and it was a far cry from the one in Columbus. There were no signs directing us to the graveside like in Columbus. There were fire ant beds everywhere we stepped and myself and many others had to scramble to get out of them and take shoes off during the service which was disruptive and embarrassing. Its not that difficult to treat the area where the service is going to be!!!

It was a nightmare dealing with them at striffler hamby. Dealing with chris bruice the funeral director was a horrible experience. They are nothing more than bullies and gossip at striffler and hamby.
