I go as a guest. Mostly Good service from the staff. Sometimes the women cashier arent as friendly as the men for whatever reason. Clean equipment, friendly gym goers, plenty of machines for my brother and I. 10-$20 a month, cant beat that. A few show-offs & weirdos here and there but overall satisfied with planet fitness.

Samantha at the front desk could not take a moment out of her day to sign us up for gym membership. Instead I had to go home create an account when all she needed to do is input our information! Said it’s easier to do it yourself, it’s easier for her .

Feel pretty comfortable here staff is always friendly place is kept clean. Has everything you need to get a good burn in. And yes theres some pretty cute girls most the time.

Always welcoming! A pleasure to be received like at home after a long trip. Black Card is a real treat for travellers

At the beginning of signing up, the young lady did not tell me the exact date the annual fee (every March) was going to drop. I asked her if i could just deposit the money and have both the fee and charge taken out on the same date, and she said that be fine. This in returned caused me to receive a fee in my bank.Update ----Spoke with David from Weslaco and he replied quickly to my email and provided a letter of error. This makes me want to stay with Planet Fitness.Thank you and Kudos to David, he did something that is very rare here in the valley and gyms.

The Pharr location is the cleanest gym I have been to in the RGV. Plenty of equipment sanitation stations and the disinfectant bottles are always full. Great cleaning crew who always stays on top of the job. Great and friendly staff. Fellow gym members respect your space. Good music. The only thing I dont like is there is not much free weights, but that is PF as a whole. Overall, a good place to workout. I really like that the app tells you when its a packed gym.

Still being cautious due to covid but i managed to go n ck it how it was. Went back around 1130pm at night. App stated it was not crowded. It still had over 20 to 25 ppl in there. By midnight half of the ppl were gone. I like how PF had sanitizer sprayers n paper towels located all over the gym. Whether ppl cleaned their area. I made sure i cleaned b4 using any machine. Did notice staff cleaning free weights. Well done PF. Keep up the food work. Will go back to this location.

My first and only gym experience so I cant really compare it to anything. The staff is fine, though sometimes a little slow on taking care of requests or complaints. The facility is clean, though there is a leak in the building right in the center. It would be nice if they had more than one unit of popular machines as a lot of times those fill up quick and stay filled. The 24 hour opening is nice. Not perfect but a decent enough place for working out

Very clean. Friendly staff. Lots of treadmills. Various weights. Various exercise machines. Hydromassage chair is awesome. Lots of cleaning stations throughout. Social distance protocols. Clean restroom.

Good size gym, always have crew members cleaning. Updated equipment along with Hammer Strength machines.

4 ⭐ because they make it seem youll only get charged the monthly fee, but nope!Youll be charged a Start up fee, Monthly Fee & Annual Fee.Now that thats out tof the way, its a good gym to be a member of. They have the equipment you need and a friendly staff.

Always clean, only downside is that there is not really order a group of guys where playing around without workout clothes just making a mess on the thread mills. I decided to move to trufit

Wanted to get a membership but did not end up coming inside.

Showers are cold and drinking water is hot. Very uncomfortable to shower and drink. Equipment is in good condition and is relatively clean.

Most workers are awesome. One of the showers didnt work but other than that its a good gym to go to. Military friendly.

This gym is extremely clean! Every single staff member was either cleaning equipment, mopping, or assisting prospective clients.All the machines were clean and serviceable. The free weitghs were neatly stacked according to weitgh. Trash cans were all clean and empty.I would definitely recommend this PF gym to anyone looking for one in the PSJA/MCallen area 👍

Ive been calling all morning and I can hear someone picking up the line only to hang the phone up and now they wont even pick up the phone, I need help changing my home gym because this location sucks.

Best time to go is early, many people from 4-6 am are mainly doing cardio.

I always go in the mornings and it’s always very clean which I appreciate. There’s a lady always cleaning in the mornings. Machines work, I think only once I had an issue with the treadmill stoping in the middle of my walk. But other than that never had any other issues with machines they’re all very well taken care of.The only down fall is one, sometimes the hand sanitizers aren’t filled and two, I had signed up for 3 classes ya’ll offered and the instructor never showed up for any.

Great for workouts cardio and strength training even stretching.Always clean and organized.Great staff always helpful.

I just want to give kudos to Mr. Ivan whos an all around well knowledgeable, reliable and respectable guy whose always on the go rathers that cleaning picking up weights or helping others. Ive been to a lot of gyms with multiple people working and cant keep the gym up to par like this young man does, by himself!! Keep up the good work, itll take you further than you would ever expect. Just because you dont see what you do but others do. I definitely see you as a leader.

Im very disappointed with this location, is not possible that PLANET FITNESS PHARR cant have the resources to fix the water heater problem, I sign up with $38 and after 3 weeks complaining about the problem I give up, I find out that this problem has been like this for months, I cancelled myMembership and ask for a refund but unfortunately they dont give me my money back because I pay cash.

Great, clean gym! Very good and nice employees. Went there today for the first time and had a very thorough tour. The employee Edgar is very descriptive and informative, above all, very kind; funny and motivational. really made it feel like home and Im glad I got my black card membership with him. Cant wait to see my results.

Its one of the cleanest gyms Ive had the pleasure of joining with a great selection of weight training machines, bars, and dumbbells.Joining the gym took less than 15 minutes for my Black Card membership and the monthly payment is fabulously affordable.I encourage anyone who wants to feel and look better to join this 24/7 gym.

It’s also the BEST #planetfitness I’ve been to compared to Tyler, TX., Plano, TX, Weslaco, TX & Harlingen, TX.I was just about to cancel my membership.Reason? My local planet fitness in Weslaco, TX. Closed down for some reason and it wasn’t made clear to me.Joined a new GYM down the street.Take my advice; I’m a GYM RAT with multiple memberships, GOLD’s GYM, #thehiddengym Allen, TX., TRU FIT Weslaco, TX. Been to other gyms and this is the best one. No bad smell, always have someone cleaning. Super friendly helpful staff. Gone different times and always find a machine to work out. Luv the total body enhancement, hydromassage bed and massage chair. This is my gym from now on.

A great environment to workout and not feel judged. They do need to add more leg machines (calve machines preferably). Everything is almost always clean and all machines are fully operational.

I love how you can go to any of their gyms. And the staff has been trained very well. Plus they have over night staff. Great place

Horrible customer service. I tried calling 2 weeks ago to cancel my membership but no one ever answered. I assumed they were still closed due to COVID-19. Today I checked my bank account and come to notice that I was charged $42. I don’t trust these gyms to be “safe” and “clean” during this pandemic. I haven’t been going and won’t be going anytime soon. I don’t recommend this gym at all!

Not only were the staff SUPER nice but I was most impressed by how everything was laid out and organized! I loved the section that was specifically made for stretching out after a workout because it was mostly covered so I didnt feel like I was being watched and some of the embarrassing machines were in a private corner as well which I as a woman really appreciated. 10/10 would recommend

Great Gym, had to change from my old Gym, this Gym is Always clean, and great staff, great place to workout, I dont have any complaints.

Not sure what the previous stars are for, especially for the only review that states that the hours suck...when this place is open 24/7, which I like a lot. Although, there are rules in place such as attire (I saw a guy in jeans working out...really?) and the 30-minute express machines that I, as someone who uses that section, believe that there needs to be someone on duty in that area so other people dont just jump in right in front of me and throw off my workout of the red light/green light, the rules are there posted on the wall. Not hard to read. Also, enforce on the wiping down of equipment AND USE OF CELL PHONE DEVICE WHILE ON EQUIPMENT NOT USING IT thanks!.....but other than that, I enjoy the place.

Plenty of no problem parking on side...very nice and new gym but the same old equipment instead of the newer line...fully equipped though...Only one tanning bed operating when i visited, affinity 500...nice and immaculate well lit bathroomss and locker rooms. Good job Pharr PF!!!
