My experience with Matthew Harmon was nothing short of spectacular. It was my first time doing something of this magnitude and I felt heard, felt for and listened to. I appreciate all the support he gave me and I would HIGHLY recommend working with Matt for any of your needs!
I have been with Deissy for almost 6 month now. I just can say good things about Thriveworks. They have been very accommodating to my schedule, availability amongst others things. The therapist that I have is amazing and I couldnt ask for anything more. All in all 5 stars for this location.
Angela is the best. Feels like having a good friend or neighbor that you can lean on. I always feel better after talking to her and I feel like I can reach out any time.
Worst experience Ive ever had, their website never worked for the video call and the therapist (Jenny Beaucamp) canceled on me for two sessions. I only ever went to one because they were supposed to be every other week, which I also wasnt a fan, of and the therapist I talked to came off as judgemental and didnt really listen to me.
We went to Thriveworks initially because it was close to our house. My daughter has been seeing Jenny for over 2 yrs and the impact and improvements made are phenomenal! I truly don’t think we could have found a better place or therapist. Jenny truly cares about my daughter and that means the world to me. She is attentive, understanding, compassionate and makes my daughter feel comfortable. Thank you Jenny for being a huge reason my daughter is thriving!
EDIT: Issue resolved but leaving my review up.Front office didnt send me any material, links, or contact info about the therapist I had my appointment with. Called numerous offices and nobody would pick up the phone to give me the information I needed. Ended up sending out a Hail Mary email to what I thought my therapists email probably was, was right, and got set up 15 minutes before my first session started.I had 2 online sessions with Jenny Beaucamp. She showed up to each session 10 minutes late and ended each session 10 minutes early. We had a few good conversations, but also talks where she was not paying attention, saying nothing but yeah continuously and changing the subject after so as not to focus on the fact that she wasnt paying attention. She felt dismissive and uninterested and I felt unheard.I was 15 minutes late to our third session. I apologized, but was hoping to get underway regardless since she had been late to our previous sessions. Instead, she waited an hour to let me know Id missed our appointment. I let her know I was there, but she was quick to point out that I was past the 10 minute mark and that if I wanted to find another therapist I was free to do so.I brought up a problem I am having and instead of trying to help me resolve or understand it, she recommends I just get a new therapist. So I guess I will.
Ive had a great experience looking for a therapist at Thriveworks. I was helped by Colleen Bjorgo to find a therapist and schedule an appointment. She was very helpful and while scheduling initial appointments and later on helping me switch counselors, as I try to find the right one for me. She made sure to curate a list of counselors that took my insurance in order to keep my costs low. Very appreciative of her help.
Alison is a very understanding and helpul therapist. She has been great for me. I highly recommend her.
I havent been overly impressed with the experience here at Thriveworks. I contacted my insurance, and they recommended this facility. We initially chose to go with Jenny Beauchamp who I honestly thought would work out. We arrived 30 min prior to appointment time was not greeted or advised that someone would be with us shortly we sat in waiting area doing just that waiting. It wasnt until another counselor came in, and notified that we were sitting in waiting room that my husband, and I were called back to speak with Jenny. After our initial appointment with her my daughter met with her 1 time the morning of our 2nd session Jenny texted stating she wasnt feeling well so appointment was cancelled. Replied back for her to feel better but never heard another word. Now Im not upset about anyone being under the weather, but if we can communicate that than could have communicated hey Im back if ready to schedule appointment etc. etc. So I took it as if she truly didnt want to deal with our concerns at hand. I contacted office, and rescheduled with another counselor because it had been weeks later they put us with Jessica Taylor scheduling booked 2 appointments once again the initial appointment for her to speak with my husband, and I ( we had to start all over) as well as an appointment for my daughter. Im thinking GREAT we can get my daughter the help she needs. Jessica advises first appointment that her schedule is full she can see my daughter for the next week, but anything after that would be based on cancellations. We have tried to call, and call .... no cancellation for her schedule so needless to say no continuous counseling here. I have given up at this point hoping that this might work. I respect they have a lot of clients, and the needs of others are being met which I love. Ive been in the medical field a long time truthfully speaking I feel like I have wasted my time with this establishment. Close the providers panels, or communicate upfront that the provider cannot provide nor see patient during times they are requesting. Your website reflects Same- or next-day appointments...Appointments start on time.....This obviously isnt always the case, and should be addressed.
Jenny Beauchamp. She saved my life in July, and is now helping me to Thrive and Grow after a very difficult year of losses. I came to Jenny late in the game, after two deaths, and a separation had already happened. She stood by me and helped me get through the Divorce, and the devastating next 2 1/2 months while I came to acceptance of that reality. We have now turned it all around, and I am moving on into a new, exciting life! She is awesome!
This was a very comfortable and welcoming place
