Ive been coming to Daves in Pflugerville for at least the last ten years, these guys always do a great job. You can count on the team to shoot you straight and do the job right the first time unlike so many other shops. I wouldnt trust my vehicles to anyone else.

I took my car in to be inspected for state registration renewal. It was very easy to book an appointment. The inspection was done in no time and the price was definitely affordable!

This is such a great shop! After getting a very high quote from another place, I decided to take my wife’s car to Cornerstone for a second opinion. The diagnostic was the same but Cornerstone’s quote came in at $1000 less! They have a friendly staff and the repair was quick. I’d 100% recommend this place and I’m definitely bringing all my family’s vehicles here from now on.

I went to Dave’s based on proximity and the amazing reviews. I honestly had my doubts Bc my Chrysler is nothing but trouble. Although I spent over 1k I would’ve spent WAY more elsewhere and took care of future labor costs. Their technicians are ASE certified, so they know what theyre doing. They offer quality NAPA Parts as well. Daves will call you in advance to explain what needs done and why they are doing any repairs, then you okay whats to be done. I got my car serviced today and took advantage of a special promotional discount. They offer a new customer discount, FYI. If you are seeking quality work and professionalism in getting your car serviced, I recommend Daves. While they may not be dirt cheap, you get good work and accountability. Cheapness has a price, as well.

I made an appointment here for my state inspection. I was able to easily set an appointment over the phone and when I arrived a bit early, they were able to get to my car faster than expected. I would recommend this location to anyone seeking a state inspection, since finding places that take appointments is a rarity.

Something was going on with my solenoid back in January and they charged me a fair price and gave me a 3 year warranty on it. The solenoid malfunctioned again in May, but they went the extra mile to get to the bottom of the issue and resolved it again — for no charge. So far so good, so I would definitely recommend them. Plus friendly staff, Phil and Bo helped me.

Great guys. They dont push a ton of issues at you and work to save you money if at all possible. I brought my truck in prepared for a throttle body replacement but they said that a cleaning was all it really needed. They earned my trust which is a big thing when it comes to automotive repair.

My review has been long overdue, Ive been using Daves in Pflugerville for over 3-4 years after my father recommended their services.They provide lifetime rotation and balance on your CAR, not your tires. They also do lifetime alignment on your CAR. Both of these cost less than $200 and pay themselves off very quickly.Look to visit during their maintenance sale months, which are April and October, where they provide 15% off their services for typical maintenance items like oil changes. For a synthetic oil change, this runs around $50 or less. The profit margin for this is practically nothing so Im not sure how they manage to do this.If you were looking for value, those were the main points for me. However, it doesnt end there. Beau and his technicians look to take care of their customers from when they step into the door and when they leave. I can trust their analysis on my car (and they provide pictures!) and they have earned my complete trust. I will continue to use their services for the foreseeable future and would absolutely recommend them to anyone on the fence.

Theyve even been willing to text me updates instead of calling (Im deaf).*Edit: The communication could have been a little better last time. Our vehicle was kept overnight after a 930am appt. without being worked on. We definitely could have made use of that vehicle if it was going to make it into a stall at all the day of the scheduled appt.

They are always professional and do a great job but they have really stepped up their safety protocols during the pandemic. I commend them on making a totally non-contact experience available. I felt extremely comfortable with the drop off and pick up experience which is very important to me since I am in a high risk category for Covid-19.

I appreciate the thorough inspection and the subsequent report with photos of items that need attention. Very helpful. My ac is now working like new. The car is still in need of a rear brake job. The quote to replace the brakes and rotors is $200 below that of the service provider who replaced the front brakes a year ago. Wish I had known about Dave’s then. I will use the service for all future repairs.

The folks at Dave’s we’re extremely patient with me as I attempted to get me mother-in-law’s 20 year old van inspected. First I didn’t have a copy of her insurance so I had to go back home, set up an online account for her so I could print off her insurance card. Dave’s let come back up just before closing but then they couldn’t get some required readings because I had removed the battery to recharge it because she never drives the car. They said to drive it 50 miles and come back. I did the next day. It passed. So 3 appointments for $18 is pretty patient and no corners. Great service and great customer experience.

Air conditioner check. Thorough, worked in in 1 day, recharged freon, fixed minor leak, gave 20% discount for 1st time customer. Excellent price, didnt try to upsell. Well be back!

We made an appointment to have the annual inspection done on our vehicle. However, my husband is a 1st Responder and got called into work so he totally forgot about the appointment until afterwards. I called and explained what happened. They completely understood and allowed us to reschedule. My husband made it a bit early to the appointment so they got him all squared away early as well. We were very happy with how they handled the situation and took care of us! Plus, the price paid for the inspection was better than most places as well. Thank you!

Ive been a customer at Daves for years. I first chose it because it was close to my house and I wanted to minimize travel distance and time. I have continued to go there because they provide great service. The staff is friendly, helpful, honest, and professional. I count on them to keep records on whats been done and what procedures are due. And last but not least, their service is affordable. I really like these people!

I used to vouch for these guys, but they just don’t do a very good job anymore. The last few times they haven’t communicated at all, and weren’t going to notify me my vehicle was going to be kept overnight this time. Both times I called to get info the guy just wasn’t planning on calling me to say what the plan was either time.I’ve been given conflicting stories about what is actually done during an oil change, and they always do this weird thing where they throw a discount at the end of the visit. I would prefer to just know what it’s going to cost flat out.

I was extremely satisfied with their service. They quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired it, did a system check, checked other critical areas on the vehicle such as brakes, and had my vehicle back to me in half a day. I had been looking for a local vehicle repair service and have found one. This will not be the last time I use Daves. I believe I have found a company that can be trusted to do quality work at a fair price. After dealing with Covert Ford since September, it is a refreshing change.

I took my 16 year old Honda in for an inspection. It needed a power steering belt to pass. They quoted me a price. The actual amount was more because it required more labor. They honored the quoted amount! Integrity! My family has 3 Hondas and they will be coming here.

So honest and professional. They could totally have charged me again for a service I received the last time I was in but they reminded me Id already had it and just did a regular oil change service. Im so glad I take my car here!

I always have THE best experience here. This location has amazing customer service, and are honest people. I had my rotors and brake pads replaced and needed to get to work. They were so accommodating and were able to drive me to work AND pick me up. I’ve never had such great customer service before. Thank you! You now have a customer for life.

Took my car in for AC repair. I was told complete failure of system and that they could replace the whole system for $1900+ (I was told this was the discounted price). I thought that was a bit high so took it to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion. The second mechanic called me within an hour and said All the parts are new! It must be under warranty. Contact your the mechanic who replaced it and see if its still under warranty. I had forgotten it was replaced last summer. So I called the previous mechanic and sure enough, it was under warranty (parts and labor) AND they would replace for free! The 2nd mechanic was quite surprised that Daves would want to illegitimately take $1900+ from me. I could go on with more scathing comments but I will finish my review with this: the ability of the mechanics and the integrity of this shop is in question. Be careful, buyer beware.

First time going to Dave’s automotive, I called this morning with a few questions and set my appointment for an oil change at 2:30pm Dropped it off a little earlier since I had to leave to work. When I came to pick it up I was very happy with the work and how communities they were over the phone about my car. I definitely recommend them.

Daves has always been great at being up front about the costs of things and letting me know if they find something unexpected. This time was no different. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Ive been bringing cars here for years and I always feel like I get friendly HONEST quality service, which as a single woman who doesnt know anything about cars I very much appreciate. They arent always the most on top of calling you with updates so you may have to take some initiative to check in on how things are going if you leave your car there.

Overdue for an oil change, popped in after work to see if they could squeeze me in. They had the truck on the rack in fifteen minutes, pretty quick, its a busy shop. Highly recommended, excellent service and good prices, theyve been taking care of my familys cars for years.

The facility at 900 Pecan Street W in Pflugerville was clean and comfortable, with coffee available. The staff was prompt, efficient and courteous. I brought my car in a little earlier than scheduled, but they were able to start on the work right away. Overall, Im impressed and will use them again.

Daves is amazing! Was traveling from Dallas and needed an urgent repair done. I found my way to Daves when Christian Brothers Automotive down the street wanted to charge me an insane amount for spark plugs. Everybody at the shop was nice, they were honest, and had me back on the road as quickly as possible for a reasonable cost.
