This office seemed nice but I currently regret ever going there. Not only did they overcharge me by 20$ (my dental insurance company told me via letter), but ever since I had two fillings done here, My teeth have been so sensitive to the point I cant eat hard foods without pain and it has not went away after a month and a half. It does not seem right to have pain after work is done and they do not know why besides filling my tooth flat so as to adjust my bite. Im now seeking further dental assistance from another dentist.

I called to talk to someone about their practice and find out what insurances they take. The line was picked up yet no one talked then I hear the lady on the other end discussing personal information with I assume a parent since I heard a kids birthday “12-07-04” then some other insurance information and address. I think she should’ve put me on hold instead of basically having me listen in. And even after 4 min of this the line went silent so I figured she would be talking to me soon enough but nope still was waiting. I hung up. If you’re busy discussing something with a patient either don’t answer or put on hold. Unprofessional.

I give Southside Dental high recommendations.Dr. Bhagat and his staff are very good at what they do from emergency care to Dental maintenance they do it well. The billing and appointments are handled with precision and they do their best to make it work for me each time I visit. Thanks Don T.

We are an Army family stationed at Fort Lee. Originally one of our neighbors (Delta companys 1st Sgt.) recommended the Southside dental office, due to his wife working as a hygienist there. She had worked in other dental offices in the area and had confided that this office had the cleanest dental instruments and that she wouldnt work anywhere else.That recommendation meant a lot! We had a chance in our last three years here at Fort Lee to really get to know the staff and see first hand the well kept dental space, the dental artistry, but also the care that is given to every patient that walks through their door. Dr. Bahgat is patient, professional, and talented; he uses his skills and education to increase the quality of life in others. I want to make note of other reviews about tooth sensitivity after procedures, it is normal, I think, to have sensitivity however it goes away, mine did anyway, leaving in its place a fresh new beginning. That being said we are all different and unique. If the sensitivity you are feeling does not go away you should seek out Dr. Bahgat for follow up on: why you may be experiencing the sensitivity and what can be done to alleviate it. In my experience he would want to help and heal if there were issues. What could be better then being able to completely enjoy food, or to flash a bright authentic smile freely?! The office takes United Concordia (which the military has switched to) and allows payment plans. In the past I have disliked dental treatments but have found them highly tolerable at Southside dentistry. Please make note as well that he lets you hold the sucky tube, which is empowering when one is stuck in a chair! I highly recommend this dental office. Thank you Dr.Bahgat for treating our whole family and giving me back my smile, I only previously dreamed it could be done.
