Donna was extremely patient, I was not always good at responding, and at the last minute I managed to rise to the occasion and Donna was very gracious and we got everything done on time. Really appreciated her patient attitude.

It has been almost a year and they have not filed our 2019 tax returns, its 2021! They barely communicate, lose the documents, etc. Also the person who answers the phone is very rude.Never use this office and not sure if Id even recommend the entire company. Horrible service!F-

H&R Block has always taken good care of my taxes. I started using H&R Block after trying a mail-in tax rebate and found you gave me more money.

My Tax paper work was submitted on March 27, 2021 to Donna R. Deilena. Starting April 15th I attempted to contact Donna through the H&R office on Kenilworth Dr in Petaluma. That office was not answering or returning calls and when I was able to speak with a person they simply assured me that my taxes were in process when actually that was only lip service being that Donna was not answering calls from them. On April 30, 2021 I requested that my taxes be given to another agent or returned. Mind you this is over 1 month of waiting for communication from Donna or from the people that I managed to connect with at the Petaluma office. Finally on Friday March 30th I was informed that my paperwork was turned over to Dianne Solari, Senior Tax Specialist. Dianne went to work right away and finish my taxes by Monday May 3rd. She was a godsend & I truly appreciate her. Of course things get stressful in this office perhaps with more help or less clients she could be more friendly to clients.

We think that Arlene Grayson is exceptional but you dont seem to have enough staff. You should hire more people.

Communication was very poor. The first person attached to our account never returned phone calls and ended up not doing any work on our account. The second person who actually did the work to complete our return did ask good questions and processed our return, although it did take a lot longer than anticipated. Luckily we got refunds on both state and fed returns, so no late fees were applied but had there been late fees, we would have been looking to H&R Block to cover them as the extension we were promised when we dropped off our paperwork never happened and this fact was not communicated to us at all. We had to continually call in to get our account handled but once someone started on it, it did get done.

The woman who answered the phone, while Im sure shes quite busy, was rude and not willing to help after her colleague, who was supposed to be correcting the state return that was filed incorrectly by them, went on leave without any notification to clients. I do not blame this on the person who had to go on leave for personal reasons, but when we pay over $500 for our taxes to be filed and purchase the guarantee we expect a bit more courtesy and helpfulness on the part of HR Block, particularly when the return was filed incorrectly by them in the first place and was done so for the second year in a row. We will not be returning.

Mrs Roberts was and is always very accommodating to her clients. She is the reason to come back every year.

Nice people but seemed very confused by my simple tax situation. Also much more expensive than I was expecting. I didnt ask ahead of time so thats my fault. Close to $400 to enter numbers in boxes that I could have done myself for that price and again lack of knowledge. Again I had very straight forward taxes no deductions ect.

I had made an online appointment on Tuesday, July 7th for the H & R Block at 3100 Lakeville Hwy in Petaluma, CA. I received a confirmation for my scheduled Friday, July 10th appointment. I showed up for my appointment and realized that the Lakeville office was closed until January 2021. I had to scramble and call a different office, the East Washington Place office. I immediately drove over to this office in Petaluma, dropped off my tax information and was told that someone would call as soon as my tax return was ready. I waited until July 15th at about 2pm. I then called the East Washington Place office to find out what the status was on my return. I do not think that anyone had picked up my packet with my tax information in it until I made this phone call. Diane Solari did handle my taxes but I was uncomfortable about the rush of a last minute filing.

Natasha makes every tax season effortless. Our 3rd year with her. Everything is explained in a way my husband and I can understand. Her calm, professional demeanor is refreshing compared to past tax years.

Now that I am self-employed, this is the last year I will use H&R. They are okay for simple tax situations, but I would not recommend them if your taxes are at all complicated. For the price, you would be better off getting a CPA.

Every time I go in I feel taken care of. I wish the pricing wasnt so high. But with the high price comes high service. Atleast in my experience
