Called in to make a appointment. Guy on the phone was very rude telling me to get straight to the point wouldnt even let me explain what was going on with my car. All he was talking about was money and saying dont waste my time. Ive been in the industry for ten years and I never talked to a customer like that and I would do the best to help my customer out. This place is a joke. Money hungry and not for the customer. They put their heads on a high pedestal just because they had enough money to buy computers to do the work for a them. And not do actual machincal work. What a joke.

I love this place-- they are always great to work with and do their best to get my cars work done as soon as possible. They have even sometimes given me a ride home once I dropped off my car! Great garage, great people.

I’ve been coming to Hybrid Haven for years and just now getting around to thank them for their continuous amazing work. I’ve brought my Prius here and even our suburban and they have always found my issues and fixed them in a timely matter. Keep bringing them business because we can not afford to lose such a wonderful company. I have friends in Santa Rosa who come here for their oil change- that’s how great they are!!

This is an excellent place to take your hybrid. They are knowledgeable and friendly. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. They will take the time to over everything and offer advice without the hard sell. I am more then happy to recommend this local business!

My first time coming here, Ed and his team went above and beyond. I wasnt sure what was going on with my car but it wouldnt start. Ed asked his secretary to give me a ride back to Sonoma (free of charge) and looked into what was going on with my car. Turns out the battery needed to be recharged. Eds team is extremely honest, and as a young woman, I appreciate their transparency. This is the only place Ill be taking my car.

These guys really know their stuff. I feel much more confident taking our hybrids here than to a regular garage. They keep track of the work they have done on the cars year to year, they are pleasure to deal with and they are cost conscious. And no review would be complete without a shout out to Buddy, the awesome rescue dog who is their Vice President of Public Relations! Highly recommended.

This shop and ED the owner is super friendly and helpful. The mechanics are also very knowledgeable and take the time to explain to you what they are doing and the “why’s”. They will not scam you either like some shops do. I have taken all my vehicles to Ed for the last 20 plus years. The shop is clean and in an area where you can get food and do errands if need be while you wait. Again, this is a good shop with good folks! Fair prices too!

Ed and Mesh are trained and adept at all vehicles especially Prius. Am especially satisfied with their work and prices. They answer all questions and concerns you have about your vehicle courteously and honestly.

Ive used The Hybrid Haven for 3 different family cars now and have positive experience every time. Ive been impressed with the level of detail when they assess a car and the mechanics Ive talked to have explained the issue with the car and helped determine must fix issues to those that can wait for future repair. The non-mechanic help has also been polite and worked with me to get my car in work with my schedule. I found the pricing fair. Overall, I highly recommend the Hybrid Haven and they have become my go to auto mechanic.

Cant say enough about The Hybrid Haven. While i know they are experts in Hybrid repair, they had no problem with my Toyota truck. Ive got two cars I bring here though one isnt a hybrid. When I first brought it here they treated me with such professionalism I decided to take my non hybrid to them as well. The owner is always there which is great because you can actually interact with him rather than going to a place with an absentee owner. That really means a lot in any business. No matter what kind of car you have, I can definitely recommend their services.

Finding a trustworthy mechanic is one of the most fulfilling accomplishments you can have in this life. Take your car to Hybrid Haven and then give yourself a huge pat on the back: youve done it. After going to the local Dealer for service, heard about them, I will never go back to the Dealer for service again. After my first service, a gentleman drove my car up to the waiting room, walked in and said my car was ready, it was Ed, the owner who introduced himself and wanted to ask me if I had any questions and that was the best feeling ever! Someone who cares. He helped me figure out a few things no one ever offered the time to answer at the Dealers.

Fixed my C-max. Charge was way over estimate but that was mostly due to dealer charges for software upgrade. Could call back when messages are left but it is a busy shop. Would give them another try if needed.

Its nice to go to a place that specializes in my car. The technology is new and I dont imagine a regular shop is equipped to deal with them. They do a great job here and my car is always well taken care of.

This place is a hybrid stop but they work on everything. I drive here from the city for work on my Jeep Cherokee because the mechanic Peter N specializes on jeeps and is amazing and honest. Highly recommended.

I tried Hybrid Haven because I didnt want to pay the dealers high rates to have the timing belt replaced on my Toyota Highlander. I chose Hybrid Haven because of the good reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed. Ed and his staff was very courteous, gave me rides to/from work, and completed the job at a fair price. I appreciate having a mechanic who works on hybrids and provides such good service. I dont think a lot of shops can handle some of these repairs since the technology is so new. Its great to go to specialists like them!

I don’t have a Hybrid, I have a gas hog Toyota Tundra (At least it’s not a ford F250). I used to be in the automotive parts business, Ed used to be my customer several years ago. I had many customers from all over the bay area, but I chose to bring my Truck to one person, Ed. I drove an hour and a half from Castro Valley so that he could fix me up. He knows his stuff; he is a Toyota master tech so even though he loves the hybrids he knows his way around any Toyota and then some. Because we had a work relationship I got to know his style of doing business, before I chose him to work on my cars, he is honest, and does everything with quality. If you have a hybrid of Toyota this place is a no brainer, f you have something else I would still give him a call.

I had to have a brake job done on my Prius. They got me in and out in 2hrs. This included my oil change I had scheduled originally. Car was cleaned and looked great.

Weve taken my wifes Prius in for Ed to work on since he started his first shop in Petaluma. His skills and understanding of the Hybrid operation have been top notch. His interaction with others who have brought their cars (even none hybrid) in for him and his technicians to work on have come across as being as pleased with their competence.

The Hybrid Haven is a first-rate operation. I own two vehicles, one being a hybrid. I have brought both cars to the facility for various work, and I continue to be more than satisfied by the training, professionalism, respect, and integrity of the Hybrid Haven team. Manager Ed Rueda and Umesh (Mesh) Patel are both master technicians, and straight shooters when it comes to diagnostics. Once I brought a used car in for a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection. Ed gave me a rundown of various problems he and Mesh had found (especially oil-leak related), and told me directly and succinctly, Dont buy this car. I especially appreciate how Mesh has been willing to provide detailed information about any prospective repair or servicing operation. Unlike mechanics who seem irritated to take time to talk to and educate customers, I always get the clear sense that communicating with customers is a big part of what Mesh loves about coming to work. If its not clear from what I have written thus far, let me leave no doubt: I highly recommend The Hybrid Haven as Petalumas only factory trained and certified hybrid center. And this applies regardless whether your car is a hybrid. Great folks and a rock-solid company!

A high light in 2012! Ed Rueda Jr. saved us on a trip up to Fort Bragg. Our front end started to make a nasty sound and did some ugly shaking. We hobbled in to Eds shop at the Hybrid Haven in Petaluma, where Ed gave up his time to give our car a test drive and a thorough look over on his lift. He reassured us it was safe to drive and that we should have it checked after our trip. He was very generous with his time and he was extremely professional. The shop is truly a haven, meticulous and organized. We traveled safely on our trip and were blessed to find Ed and his shop. Happy New Year!

The owner here is an honest man and even has his family involved in the business. We take our cars here and feel lucky to know them.

Not only does Ed and staff take excellent care of our cars but they make sure their customers are well cared for as well. They always see that I have a car when mine is being services and they do go the extra mile to see that the cars are 100%

The owner of this place is a complete nut case. Selling used parts and overcharging people isnt a good way to do business. My advice is to go elsewhere.
