Driver was really nice, but had a different high risk job that placed him in contact with covid patients. The driver had just been vaccinated two days prior, so it was not an ideal situation. While the driver himself was quite kind (just had different approach to the pandemic) and professional, I dont trust that the company places a value on their customers preferences/safety. Vaccines are not mandated at this company, and you will not know if your driver has been vaccinated and/or has other high risk exposures.

UPDATED - The company responded well to me informing them of this issue. They were quick, polite, and professional in their contact. They claimed they were pulling the driver. I dont know what that means and I did not want to get anyone fired but I updated the review since they took this issue seriously...The tour bus illegally entered Alamo square historic district in SF and parked illegally as well in the historic district. The ban on passenger vehicles over 8 seats is almost a decade old yet this company is either ignorant of the law or doesn’t care to follow it.If you care to respect the city and neighborhoods youre visiting, please use a service that at least follows the rules and shows the locals some respect.

Our driver Emily provided excellent service and provided great winery and lunch recommendations. She was friendly, energetic and knowledgeable about the area we travelled in. She offered to make us a reservation at a restaurant or grab us lunch while we were in a winery so we could have a picnic. The car was very clean, had great back seat controls for music and temperature. Next time we are back in Napa Valley or the San Fran area we will most definitely use your service again. Thank you so much for making our trip to the area that much better.

I had Tony as my driver for an afternoon while I was photographing a corporate event. He knew the city like the back of his hand which was the only way I was going to catch several different activities all happening at the same time. I came away looking like a hero to my client. Id highly recommend Pure Luxury in the future.

Wow. Pure Nightmare Transportation. Ive never been so disturbed by the behavior of a service-based organization in my entire life. Absolutely humiliating as the bride and groom. I hired and paid for Pure Luxury to provide shuttle services to my wedding (black tie). Picture your perfect wedding day in Calistoga, all of the people you care about in the world have traveled far and wide to be with you and its glorious, pulling out all the stops (down literally to the toilets we rented) with one exception...two of the bus drivers are complete NIGHTMARES. Examples: A) 15 of our guests were brought to the wedding ceremony late, yes late, they walked in during the sermon, B), multiple guests including an SF police officer were told they had to wait 45 minutes for the wedding to end to travel home (they wanted to see their baby and we paid for a continuous shuttle loop), C) having just been married at 4:30p, its now 1:30a and we, the bride and groom, are absolutely exhausted. Weve had the best night of our entire lives and all we want to do is go to our hotel, Calistoga Ranch. We knock on the windows of the bus thats clearly about to depart. The driver proceeds to berate my bride and I in front of all of the guests yelling that we have to wait until the next bus. Im flabbergasted (took everything in my power to not be like do you know who paid for this bus?) D) So we wait in the dark on the side of the driveway for 15 more minutes with 5 of our guests. Next driver comes, theres room to enter the bus, we are saved! Not so fast. E) Driver speeds past our requested drop off point of Calistoga Ranch. Oh well, Ill just hang out with amazing friends for another 10 minutes while he drops them off at their destination. F) Wrong. Driver doesnt want to go to Roman Springs (one of our designated drop offs), or doesnt know where it is, but either way, what in the world. F) Driver leaves our guests on the side of the road. At this point the wheels are starting to (figuratively) come off, G) the driver decides to call his boss to ask what to do. Im trying to call an Uber/Lyft at this nightmarish point (closest one 20 minutes away). Finally the driver decides he can drive the 7 minutes to drop my bride and I off at our hotel. My Pure Luxury bus nightmare sounds eerily similar to KB (Yelp user) posted on this same page a month ago, which I wish I would have read closer. The only solace I take is the hope and expectation that this review will cost Pure Luxury 100x the cost that I spent ($4,266 + in tips which we handed them in an envelope before the evening).
