The Tech that we had was a delight. He was there for a few hours and inspected and cleaned our washer, dryer, fridge, stove, and dishwasher. I think that 250 for the service was def reasonable. After the Tech was done, he didnt try to push any unnecessary repairs, and he didnt try to sell us any new appliances. He had no hidden agenda. It was great! Im hoping that is true for all the Techs. Sears only gets 4 stars because the washing machine before and after pics on the website was a lie. When I brought the pics up to the Tech, he didnt know what I was talking about, and he didnt clean the gasket. Luckily, it didnt look like the before pic on the website, but I still found the discrepancy to be annoying. Otherwise, I would use this service again, and recommend the service.

After numerous calls and numerous repairs to our fridge (ice maker, water dispenser, interior lights, etc.) Sears finally ordered a new door for us. (All of this was under warranty, thank goodness). After the door arrived, ONE repairman showed up to remove and replace a FRIDGE DOOR! My husband had to take 2 hours off of work to HELP the repairman! Ridiculous! And on top of all this the repairman said that they don’t take the old door with them! Are we supposed to take it to the dump at a cost of $75?!?? Because of their faulty product?!?? I am NEVER buying anything from Sears ever again!!!

After replacing the ice maker the experience up to that point had been a 5. The next day, the ice had not filled the container as it should have being a new machine. Three days later, the thing that was fixed, was back like it had never been touched. I called the company and they are coming back on Wednesday to re-repair it. If it gets fixed, I will upgrade to 5 stars again.Update: A new service guy showed up on time and started to re-repair the previous effort. Before he would perform the repair, he wanted 129.00 plus parts. I was calm when I told him that he was re-repairing the ice maker that his associate fixed one week prior without success. He said that his paperwork said that he was on a new call, not a re-repair and he couldnt do anything without getting paid first. I was adamant about not paying twice for the job and he left. Before he drove away, he said that he was able to change the tag to an open order rather than a new call and I wouldnt be charged. He left and said to call for another appointment. Sears sent me a bill for 129.00 a few days later. So much for honesty.......I am still fighting Sears over the charge and my ice maker still doesnt work. Dont call these guys for anything!

Our window of service was from 1-5 pm. Two of waited anxiously for his arrival, without any call or peep from the tech. After 5 pm, the tech finally called to say he wasnt coming after all due to overbooking. This was outrageous. I insisted that he come, due to our high need. After my persistence, he said he would be there in 10 min. He did look over the mower and saw that there was another problem, hence he ordered the part. It will take another week. This makes Sears policy look very bad, especially if his day was truly overbooked. When it comes time to replace the mower, I will look elsewhere.

Fridge broke in August. Now five service visits in and a few hours after the technician leaves there’s an error code on the panel and the fridge temp is 61°. Useless. Don’t use them.

Terrible, terrible experience. A cluster that took 8 hours on the phone, three onsite visits, multiple different parts and they still have not refunded me $270 for a part they sent twice. Over a month later our dryer was fixed!

Our repair man was very knowledgeable . He had to replace our ice maker AGAIN! Also clear out a frozen tube. The sensor is very finicky. The only frustration is that he did not reset the ice maker. We thought he did and was expecting ice and come to find out that had not been done.

The technician worked diligently to solve the problem with the refrigerator. He went above the call of duty checking diagrams and possibilities to do the repair.
