Worst company ever! NEVER do business with this company. they are dishonest and will take you for every dime. Customer service is terrible and the work is sloppy. Any other company but this one. All the bad reviews are correct and their behavior is consistent with what I went through. They should be embarrassed for their dishonesty and lack of work ethic. You have been warned.
Be careful if you have work done by Arolo. Get an estimate detailed with unit cost before they start - they only want to give verbal lump sum. I was given a ballpark of $3,300 for the worse case scenario; a 25 gpm pump, 5 hours just to pull 200 of galvanized pipe, more to put it back, etc. They email you a paper estimate to sign when they have the pump out, still no detail, and wont proceed until you sign. It was still $3,300 so I assumed they just used the original ballpark until the job was complete. Smaller pump, reusable pipe, the job took 4 hours total. They have their technician do the paperwork with a carbon copy on site afterwards, but they are instructed not to give you a copy? Take a pic of what you sign! Then the bill comes, and absolutely no detail, not even what model pump. They replace my brand new controller due to warranty, but provided no warranty information. Not with BBB, but have a B- rating. And the 5 star rating from Jim? He works in the office. Make sure you get a kiss if you go with these guys...
Company, located 424 Payran St #A Petaluma never mentioned that it was a service fee of $170.00.A breaker that I was not aware of the locations tripped. All the worker did was reset the breaker. 10 second of work. Effective rate that the company is charging : 1/6min for $1761min 176/1/6 or 176 x 6= $105460 min 1054 x 60= $63,360.00Company is under new ownership under the Name Foster Pump & Well; spoke to the person in charge that told me that was totally normal.. Make you own opinion but a company that I think completely overcharged me, is difficult to trust
Beware of this company. If you are a residential consumer, you better know how to talk to them or you will be on a service call ticket. Thats an open checkbook, you will be charged time and mileage. Customer service is not their strength and it starts with the owner. My advice, stay away and try someone else.
We have always had very good results from Arolo. They have done a lot of work for us in the past and we found them totally reliable. They always show up and always repair the problem.
Got my water pump up and running in no time!
The bill was over twice the estimate otherwise OK.
