I called to get an estimate for 3 replacement basement windows. Rob Coffman showed up to talk with us about that. He explained very well the products the company had that would be suitable for our project. He also told us of the commitment Champion had to produce a very fine window at a reasonable cost. We have not decided what our choice will be at this time. Champion was the first business we contacted, and we are still looking at other options in order to make a more informed choice.We thank Rob for taking the time to explain the Champion products and company policies. We have been having minor issues with out windows for the last couple years; broken thermal seals, cranks don’t work on casements, some moisture leaking in. Still I didn’t want to spend the money on new windows. Despite that I decided to sit down with Rob Coffman their sales associate to see what options I had. It really allowed me to understand the difference in windows and what new windows would help us with. Rob and Champion were the 4th company we ended up talking to. Rob was much more helpful and their product was, I think, the best based on the information he gave. The price was very competitive, especially considering the quality. The warranty was also a good selling point. If I had Champion windows all the problems I had with my current windows would be covered. I’m most excited about seeing the difference it makes in how hot my upstairs gets in the summer. The amount of solar heat reduction on these windows is crazy compared to my current windows. Thanks Rob for informing us so we could make a really good decision.

This company is horrendous!!! 4 hours at my house... A 54,000 dollar quote . I litterly had to ask the salesman to leave ..Its sad they train there salesman to act like this . Champion if your that hard up for money... Dont over charge .. go out of business...

We were in desperate need of replacement windows. Even through our need was great, I should have kicked the Rob Coffman, the Champion saleman, out of my home for the lack of respect he showed towards me and my children. He seemed nice, but his sales presentation was long and took a difficult toll on my small children. When I told him the price was too high, he continued to press...hard. My little ones were tired and fussy, my older children needing my attention, and after two hours, I gave up and decided to sign. After all, we did need the windows and it seemed like the only way to get him out. I was hopeful that maybe things would work out despite the awful experience of a Champion sales presentation. We just had our windows put in and I now realize that hell we endured was a sign to run, not an opportunity to fill our need for safe windows. Our sales man touted the fact that Champion does not use middle men. Imagine my surprise when a truck shows up with a contractors name and number on the side...and its not Champion. The contractor proceeds to complain about how far the campground hes staying at is away from my home, how hot it is outside, and then proceeds to ask me odd questions about swimming in my neighbors pool and if my neighbor wants to sell his trailer (who cares...if you want to know, go ask after the job is done). The crew was weather delayed for 2 hours (even though we did not receive rain, I guess he did where they stayed) and then was 2 hours late beyond the reschedule time. The contactor showed up at the end and told me who and how much for the check, and then left. No walk around or asking if I had questions. The windows look fine from the inside, but when I went outside, it just made me sad to realize how much money I wasted. Champion touted their superiority in quality of installation, but it was a sloppy mess. Overspray on the glass, visible foam spray, bowed siding, all sorts of caulk problems (caulk on the siding, drippy ends, and messy, rushed caulking), corners that dont line up, and one window that has an odd fit are the things I found after walking the house. I was angry that Champion used a traveling subcontractor for the windows and even more upset at myself for agreeing to this nonsense. Champion is sending someone out this week to address the issues, but it wont change the fact that the salesman was pushy and inconsiderate, the installation was a nightmare, and I still have to deal with Champion to address the issues that should have never happened. A complete waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and find a local company that doesnt rely on ridiculous sales pitches and actually runs its own installation crew.

Last year we had 3 double hung replacement windows installed as well as 4 casement windows and one fixed window installed. salesman did a great job, installers also did a great job with the exception of one casement window is slightly in a bind. no big deal i called last fall about getting someone out to service it (no big deal right?) well i have not gotten a call back about the service yet i would say at least 4 months later.... we started calling again and keep being told someone will call us... as well as trying to call and get window prices from our previous quote as we would like to have more windows replaced this year.... total quote for everything we plan on doing was $43,000.... and we cannot get this company to contact us back! I am starting to think i should call a different company to finish the rest of the project as it does not seem like Champion wants any more money from us nor do they want to honor the guarantee they told us all of our windows have..... very disappointed

I paid for 6 windows. Showed up with 5 & one of the 5 was a slider that was supposed to be a double hung. The installer did a great job very quickly. Very professional. Nice windows. When I argued he was short one window & one was wrong, he looked at the order & said I was right. Supposedly put in a rush order for 2 double hung windows to come back & make it right. Id think the order shouldve been verified to make sure the amount & type of windows were correct before leaving with them. If I wouldve gotten all 6 of the correct windows I paid for, Id be giving a 5 star rating. My current rating is pending whether I get my other 2 windows I paid for without having to contact customer service and/or file a lawsuit for a refund for windows I paid for & didnt get.

Due to the cost of the estimate, we changed our minds. But representative, Rob Coffman, did a good job explaining the product and tried to work with us.

Maybe I’m wrong but saying $24,000 for 9 windows seems outrageous. They went down to $17,000 then down to $12,000 and then down to $9,000 and wanted me to commit to it on the spot or my price goes back to the $17,000. Seemed like high quality windows but there is no way.

Windows were installed 3 months ago. I have water coming in the top of the window frame. There is also another one leaking. I’ve tried for six weeks to get a service appointment! Today I was finally able to get a ladder long enough to inspect it myself and this is what I found!! There’s no wood under that wrap either. Looks to be held on by the half beads of caulk! Now we have to wait another two weeks for someone to come out and hopefully do the job correctly!

Salesman was very professional and on time and so was the tech that came out later to measure our windows. Cant comment on the install as they wont be ready until at least June (they are giving us an estimated time and even warned us it could be longer because of delays and being backed up from Covid). I will update the review as the process progresses, but I was at least informed of a possible long wait and sounds like some were given a much shorter time that they couldnt meet.Edit: Our windows was installed on April 25th. Took 2 guys all day to do the 4 windows, but they were perfessional and the windows look great and so far have been working like they should be. Looking forward to using Champion to replace more of our old windows.

Dan spent several hours with us on a Saturday morning and was very clear and helpful with both the product and the process we can expect. Wed had several other window companies out over the year for quotes and we ended up going with Champion - there is a price premium, but based on the physical comparisons, warranties, etc, it was the right choice. He was very helpful during the decision process and worked with us to get what we needed. Install will be before the end of the year and I will update this with the process and photos as well.

Changing my review to one star from five. When we ordered our first four windows, Champion installed them within six weeks as agreed. However, one of the windows on the installation day had a crack running through the middle. They said they would order a replacement and fix it.We decided to do another four windows and went with Champion for consistency and ordered them a few weeks later. Following several weeks, I received a call that our windows were ready to be installed, however, when I returned the individuals call, he was out of the office and couldnt schedule. Following three other attempts to call, I have yet to hear back on when our replacement + four windows can be installed.My wife called Champion customer service twice during this second period. The first time, they stated that our windows were not yet in and asked us to wait since theres a large backlog and she would receive an email update. However, she called again today (after no email update was sent) and we were informed they were in and the customer service agent would email the installers.Overall, there seems to be a communication problem within the different aspects of this company. The windows are good quality (except for the broken one), but the level of service we have received was not something we were expecting, especially since Champions focus of being the single point of contact, was a huge part of their initial sales pitch. Champion will tell you that, since they sell, manufacture and install the windows that you only have to deal with them and that should (probably) should be a major selling point. Were looking forward to having our windows installed, but theres definitely been a disappointment in the communication of Champion as a whole.

I had an estimate completed today. The rep, Chase, was very knowledgeable about Champions products and warranties. He was also very professional. Most of my questions were answered during his introduction and explanation of the products. He was able to answer my additional questions quickly and confidently. Chase was able to sell Champion without bashing other companies. I look forward to my new patio door!

Chase was excellent. Did a great job showing the product and explaining everything. Second time using Champion. The product they offer was great in our home and was our first pick for the new home. You get what you pay for but it’s worth it. The warranty alone is worth it.

If I could give no stars I would..Has been the worst experience ever..we have been trying to resolve a window installation issue for almost a year with no success..all I have to say is dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare..

EDIT #3: It is now two months from my last update. They finished installation on March 26th. Wanted the rest of the money, even though the window was broken. Was quoted 2-3 weeks for them coming out to replace the pane. Have not heard a single thing from Champion. Ive called customer service - all they can tell me is that theyll have the team follow up with me.I literally dont understand.EDIT #2: Finally managed to get someone to call me back to schedule the install, but the install has been an ongoing nightmare. Three different installers have come out over the course of two weeks to install *one* window. The window is BROKEN by the way. First installer leaves because he wasnt properly prepared. Second installer comes and doesnt finish the job. Third installer comes and leaves because he also was not properly prepared for the job. Said he would come back on Sunday at 2pm to finish - he was a no-call, no-show. It is now Wednesday, I have called and texted incessantly, and I cannot get a firm date and time on when the installer will come and finish the job. I am so frustrated that I want to cry. This whole process has taken five months and still isnt over.I called that number that was posted in response to my first edit, and I got some guy in Cincinnati. He transferred me to someone in Toledo, I left a voicemail, heard nothing back. I try calling the customer service line for the office in Toledo, am on hold for twenty minutes before I give up.Im sure at some point I will be expected to pay full price for this, no less.BTW - everyone you see here thats leaving five-star reviews after only just interacting w/ a salesman is because theyre encouraged to do so in return for a discount.EDIT: Its now four months later (originally quoted 8-10 weeks), and I dont have a window. I dont even have an install date, and no one can seem to give me an answer. The last I heard from the office was a month ago, and the last I heard from the salesman was two weeks ago. Thinking Ive just been scammed out of a $2k deposit.Ordered a garden window for my kitchen - Dan, my salesman, was super punctual, polite, and informative! Will update review when the window is installed.

I had a window crack & they did replace it, but when you get their sales pitch they dont mention that it will be 3 to 4 months to get the replacement / I certainly dont think their windows & doors were worth $12 thousand ? I did however believe thru their sales pitch that I was going to receive top shelf service ? I now have a door with issues, this has been going on since early summer, called & spoke to receptionist & she was to forward info to service, never heard back from the, month later did it again with the same result so I went in person to the office & spoke to management, same story ( service will contact me) never happened ! Once again I have called the manager that I spoke with ( thats been 45 days ago ) he said that they would get back to me within 1/2 hour / still waiting !😭

Update ** Today (1/13) was installation day. Just like before, all windows were wrong size. Im not sure where communication fails, but this is disappointing.Mixed feelings as they havent installed the windows yet. They installed glass block windows around 10 years ago and I wasnt completely happy then but I figured Id give then a second chance. So far, they no called no showed our installation date. It took me multiple times to different numbers to get ahold of someone to reschedule. Ill wait to see how installation goes to update.

Today I met with Patrick and Jeff and they were great to work with! Both were super knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel confident in my decision to choose Champion Windows. I definitely feel like I’m getting a top quality product for a great price. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

Part 2--I still agree with what I posted about Jeff two months ago. But as of this week, things have changed. On November 17th, I was contacted by Champion to set up a date for window installation. I went with his first suggestion, Monday, November 23rd, at 9:00am. I spent the Sunday before taking down all curtains, blinds, and hardware. At 9:00 Monday morning, no one showed up. At 10:00, I called and left a message with the gentleman with whom I had set up the appointment the week prior. Still no response. I sent an email to Champion Monday evening, and have yet to hear anything from that, either. It is now over 48 hours since the scheduled appointment was to have taken place, and I have yet to hear anything back from Champion, whether it be to apologize, explain, or reschedule the appointment. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism of this company. Part 3--Its now eight days after my scheduled window installation was to have taken place, and I have STILL not heard back from anyone from Champion. I have now also tried the national customer care phone number that was supplied to me, and, needless to say, have heard nothing back from there, either.

Our sales representative was professional, yet casual, informative and detailed. We didnt feel pressured into making a decision. He was a pleasure to have into our home for the appointment. I’m so sorry I chose Champion to replace the vinyl siding of my house. If I could go less than one star I would. Not only are they 8 weeks past due. I have missed several days of work based on what I was told about the beginning of the installation. I have called and left messages with three different people and haven’t heard back from anyone. It’s one thing if they’re behind. It’s quite another thing to be told “they will be there...” and not show up. And what makes it worse they couldn’t even call to let me know. I have been lied to several times by the installation managers, my guess in hopes to appease me. I can’t comment on the product or installation process because IT HASN’T STARTED YET!!! I totally expect this to fall on deaf ears and not hear a word about this.

Dont ever deal withthis company they dont give you the same deal you sign for and want more money after you put your money down and then when your waiting thinking your windows are going in soon after 6 weeks they say they didnt order anything yet and want more money. They dont have communication with you and dont call you when you call them. So much time wasted on dealing with this company shame on them and there company for what they do to familys . They should be shut down!!!! My sales member was Patrick and he was amazing and is really professional and even called Jason Bailey for a combo deal with my windows and new roof and was given the deal signed the contract and was told that everything would be done in 6 weeks. The company new that I was a victim of vandalism and I didnt have any windows in 4 Bay window and they was telling me that they was putting a Rush on it knowing that I have NO WIDOWS and I put down a large portion of the money and I have tried to call and discuss what is happening and they said no one put in the order..... They then have asked for even more money to do the job. ANYONE THAT COULD FEEL THIS IS OKAY TO DO TO PEOPLE AND THERE FAMILY AND STILL FEEL ITS OKAY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN...... GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY OR STAND BY YOUR CONTACT...... SHAME ON YOU.....

We ordered our windows over 3 months ago and still haven’t gotten them installed. We totally understand the delays going on with COVID but here is the worst part. The final measurements were taken almost 7 weeks ago and that man told us ok 2-3 weeks and they will be here to install. As I’m sure you can understand I was a little frustrated 3 weeks ago but still understanding where this world is right now. After countless phone calls and text messages to the salesman, that were never returned, we are still sitting here trying to figure out where our almost $7000 in windows are. After that I figured I would call the company direct to get to the bottom of this thinking “they should know for sure”. Ya definitely not the case!!! The “only” thing they could do for me is send and “urgent” email to the install managers to call me right away to answer my questions! “Well that should fix this” I thought!! Little back story, I work in customer service/sales/retail. I would NEVER leave my customers hanging out in the wind like my wife and I have been!!! After two phone calls to the company direct and two “Urgent” emails to the install managers, NOTHING!!! We are so disappointed with the lack of customer service and professionalism of this company from the top to the bottom I can’t even explain it in words!!! I would highly recommend to anyone to avoid this company like we have been told to avoid public gatherings because of COVID!!If I could have given ZERO stars I would have!!!!Needless to say I will be calling on Monday to cancel our order and go with a totally different company!!!***********************************************************************Back again guys!!!! So its been over 2 months since my last post and when I didnt think things could get any worse with this company it did.! The only good news out of this whole thing is we finally received our window. The issue we are having now is they are charging us double the amount that we were quoted from our salesman Aaron. I have reached out to the company many time with no luck what so ever in hearing anything back. The first women who I spoke with was a rude as they come and was screaming at me over the phone on how I was wrong and I had no idea of what I was talking about. After being transferred to her boss, who I thought was very helpful, they sent an email to get to the bottom of this. Come to find out a week later when I called back that neither one of them sent any emails or put any nots in my profile about any issues I was having. I then had to reexplain myself to yet another customer service agent. Guess what all she could do was sent yet another email to someone who doesnt want to take any responsibility and be a leader. I have called multiple times about this issue with not even a single phone call to say hay we are looking into it. This has to be the worst company ever and I want them to come get their windows back! I can live with no windows for a little while so I can find a company who stands by their product and their customers unlike this one.Well everyone good luck, next trip it to the Better Business Bureau and them to my Lawyers office.

When I called for a quote the phone was answered immediately and Jack came out May 31st. The following week (June 7) another guy came out and said 3-4 weeks for installation of a partial sunroom (existing porch has 3 brick walls) June 17 would have been three weeks. I called July 11th and left a friendly message asking about a new installation date. Its now August 4th over 9 weeks later and I never even received a return call but I have already received two bills in the mail for zero service or products and no contact. I thought Champion was a reputable company. I understand we had a rainy spring but shouldnt someone be calling to tell me why there is such an extended delay? Should I be paying these bills when I dont have new windows and doors installed?

Signed a contract in 9/20 for siding and gutters on a newly constructed home and paid a $20,000.00 deposit. We were contacted a week before Christmas to tell us that the sales person had been terminated and they werent going to honor our contract for the gutters, just the siding, unless we wanted to pay thousands of dollars extra for the gutters. SERIOUSLY?

All I Can Say Is Buyer Beware.Service Update: Realized that this company is very unorganized. Took 8 weeks from the time they begin to finish for a bay window, awning window, front door and patio door. They would show up late, work a few hours and leave, or need some supplies and be gone for 4 -5 hours work an hour or 2 and leave, there was always an excuse why they couldnt make it or work very few hours. Their workmanship is sub par, had to pay attention since they wanted to cut corners. I could go on with the issues which took place but will say not satisfied with their workProduct: Thought Champion would be comparable to other top of the line companies but the craftmanship just isnt there, windows and doors look cheaply made and far from expectations. Patio door screen is cheap as well as the screen for the front entrance door. Took 3 tries to get the correct storm door for the front as well. That comes from the organization part, dont believe they work off from a project ticket or nobody looks at it. The front door is not made straight so it sticks at the top and was told nothing they can do with it, it was manufactured that way. The storm door sticks as well.Aaron came in for a quote on our project consisting of windows and doors. He is very personable, knowledgeable and thorough on each of the products which was great selling points but bottom line was the cost and quality. Prior to his visit, we looked at door styles but found out Champion discontinued those styles, however Aaron did try to see if either was available by chance but unfortunately no so went with our 2nd choice. Looking forward to getting everything installed.

Our sales representative (Patrick) was awesome! He was very knowledgeable, personable, and really seemed to have our best interest in mind. He had several suggestions that saved us a ton of money. He was even willing to call the office and work on getting us even more money off. We had several other window companies come and show us samples of their windows, but nothing even came close to the quality of Champions. I would absolutely recommend Champion to my family and friends.

We recently purchased two sliding glass doors from Champion. Chase answered all our questions and helped it select the right product for us. We were extremely happy with the service we received and we thought the price was very competitive.

I was able to set up an in-home consultation to replace windows and our sliding glass door. I made the appointment on Monday and Antonio was here the following day. He was very easy to work with, gave a thorough presentation of Champion’s products and warranty, and walked us through our options. We ended up purchasing our windows and door that same day. Overall, the experience was very simple and we look forward to our new Champion windows and door!

Absolutely horrible! They lie!!!!Our sunroom was supposed to be done in January 2021, then got pushed to April 2021, now they are say maybe July 2021! No way to cancel unless we get charged 30% of our total expenses!They dont care ! Just horrible horrible!!

Jeff arrived on time. Gave us a detailed but not lengthy presentation. Measured the windows and gave us pricing and we signed the contract that night. Looking forward to new windows to be installed in the coming weeks and saving on energy bills.

He took the time to explain in detail what we could expect from our project (siding) and was able to answer all of our questions. His knowledge of the company’s history and products they sell was impressive and we learned a lot from our meeting. My slider is gorgeous. Its quiet, and I love the interior blinds. John Miller was great to work with, and he found lots of discounts for me; yard sign, google review, and Saturday install option, in addition to the company promotion of 50% off if you sign that day, which was really great. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that during the install on a Friday, the installer broke the wheels on the screen, so he had to take the screen back to the shop. Unfortunately it was Labor Day weekend, so he said I would not get the screen back that day, and I had to wait until after the busy Labor Day weekend was over to find out when I would get the screen back. We would have appreciated a loaner screen over the Labor Day weekend, as we had family in from Colorado, and were using our deck a lot. The weather in the evening was perfect for leaving the beautiful new slider open, but no one at Champion offered that as an option.

Antonio was very informative, and nice person. Very professional, patient in explaining everything. No rushing answered all my questions very good price. Look forward to the new windows! I recommend any of my family and friends.

Our salesman, Jeff Pickle was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with us as he walked us through all of our options and answered all of our questions to get us to the best value and return on our investment.

We ordered windows in March 2020. The factory was unable to Fulfill the contract and manufacture an eyebrow window for us. I have called champion multiple times during the past 5 months to get updated information, initially about our order and then seeking a refund . Champion gave us misleading and inaccurate information. Phone calls were not returned and we were promised a full refund . Five months later we still have not been refunded our sizable down payment. I was informed today that the legal department would be contacting me . Dawn in customer service told me “I was not a priority because I was no longer a customer...I no longer had a contact with champion” and she hung up ! We filed a compliant with the BBB today

I wish I could give them zero stars!!! Horrible company that screwed my family over thousands of dollars on siding

Antonio from Champion came out to my home today to measure and consult on a window replacement project. I shared with Antonio that quality and value would be a huge seller. I also wanted a company I could work directly with and avoid any middle man. I explained that I wanted my family to feel safe when the home improvement project was being completed. As you know other companies out there sell contracts and you never know who is coming out to your home. Antonio assured me that all employees are vetted and they work directly for Champion Windows. Our salesperson was on time, personable and knowledgeable. His presentation was informative and enjoyable and we felt comfortable enough after our hour with him to select Champion. The installers arrived on time and the work was done as described during the sales presentation. The windows operate smoothly, are easy to clean and have reduced street noise considerably. Only time will tell, but based on the noise reduction we believe the windows will go a long way towards reducing our utility bills in the future. In a nutshell Champion Windows and Home Exteriors of Toledo is worthy of your serious consideration.

Was looking to them to redo my windows, my friend had a contract with champion to do their siding on there home. Champion canceled their contract saying we want more money to do the job and would not give them back their deposit of $20,000. Terrible business and terrible people.
