Just left, great service. Answered all my questions, completely knowledgeable on all services. This is the reason I have stayed with Buckeye for over 30 years
Had buckeye in perrysburg for 2 years and always had a great internet connection and no issues with the video side either. They were always a phone call away and answered very quickly! There tech support was always helpful too. Everything they told me was accurate on my bill. They reinstalled my router when I moved too. Would highly recommend them. Don’t be discouraged by other reviews.
I’ve had Buckeyes internet for one week and I HATE IT!!! I work from home, this is unacceptable!! Their wireless WiFi is a f’n joke!! I can not believe that this is the only cable/internet company in Waterville!!! I will be moving as soon as my lease here is up!! If you have a choice DO NOT CHOOSE BUCKEYE INTERNET!!! If there are other internet companies in Waterville please advise me of whom!! Urggh!!
August 5 received “service”. August 8-12 service goes out. Technician comes out, doesn’t fix problem permanently. Two days later it goes back out. Another tech comes out. August 14 my bill comes for service I could not (and still cannot use). Another tech comes out but “didn’t have the tools”. And it was my problem to reschedule. They tell me the issue is my wireless computer needs to be hardwired so I wouldn’t have issues. Here we are 12 days into September and internet is not working AGAIN!! If the bill is owed you hear from them non-stop...not when you need your internet is working, however.
Sad Buckeye treats new customers better than ones thats been with them for 30 years nothing for the seniors or disabled vets
Zero stars actually... Im the only one on the internet at my home and my latency while playing any game is 150+ which is completely unplayable. When I tried to get Buckeye to help all they could tell me is that their servers are congested and there is nothing they can do. Is this what they refer to as high speed internet?!? Go with spectrum or any other ISP to be honest.

Stopped in this store 3 months ago to see about getting a better rate on my cable bill (which was $220/mo). Employee told me I had a very old rate plan and should be happy for having that! After getting no help from him, I explored Hulu Live TV and ultimately cut my cable. Last week, I stopped into same store (big mistake) and got the same guy. I turned in my modem and bought one for $120, which at $10/month to rent one from Buckeye, I had nearly paid $1500 for that one over 13 years! He tried to convince me that it was a mistake to buy one, and not continue to rent because technology changes so quickly. I told him simple math said I could buy one every year and break even! He didnt get the logic! I paid for the new modem with Visa. Now I have my bill and Im being charged for it again on my bill! He never marked that I had paid for it. I called and now I have to make another trip to a Buckeye store to show my receipt! They wont accept the receipt number as proof!! Dont go to the Perrysburg store!
If I could give zero or negative stars I would.They flat out refuse to honor the special I signed up with when I moved. The internet speeds are throttled and they only offer 5mbps upload speed thats it. Other ISPs offer upload speeds up to 1,000mpbs with no bandwidth caps but BB charges you extra for unlimited bandwidth! And they dont offer any upgrades to upload speeds whatsoever. The customer service is a joke. I would say out of the 50-100 calls into support that I have had 10 people know what they are doing. Buckeye is a predatory company with shady criminal business practices that go unchecked. DO NOT GET SERVICES FROM BUCKEYE UNLESS YOU ENJOY GETTING LIED TO, BAD SERVICE, OVERPRICED TV & INTERNET PRICING !
I have had buckeye for 4 years and have ALWAYS used less than 250gb per month. For 4 years!! So for the last 2 months Ive been given the honor of Data Overage Fees saying Ive used 474 gigs of data. Absolutely not. I call to complain and they try to force me into believing Ive used that much. $75 in overage fees for someone that is only home 2 nights of the week and on the weekends. But they would be More than happy to credit half of those fees back if I was willing to upgrade to their unlimited data packages. Buckeye is not about customers, they are about money!!! They do not care about you! Im currently on the phone with AT&T to switch over to them. $40/mo for unlimited data. I wanted so terribly to stay local, but that is NOT a possibility. I was forced out the door with fraudulent fees so they can greedily upgrade me to unlimited data. Enjoy my modem being dropped off and losing another customer. BUCKEYE SUCKS!!!
Nice people at the store but the rates are high! Without competition youre stuck.
Buckeye is absolutely terrible! They deserve negative stars. You start out paying about 40-50 bucks a month but then they start charging you more saying you were on a temporary promotion. They promised me Id be paying about 40 bucks a month and now Im paying 80! Not to mention youre paying for GARBAGE service! My internet is typically so slow to the point where its taking 10 minutes to load a website. DO NOT RECOMMEND BUCKEYE!
Like most things in Ohio absolutely horrible! Worst cable company Ive ever seen! We had them for years when we lived in Toledo and Perrysburg. Outrageous prices!!!! We had basic internet service, their high-speed internet cost us over $109 a month by the time we actually left Ohio we were paying close to $120 a month for just basic internet high-speed service. We moved to Arizona and live in Phoenix. We now have better service than in Ohio.... smoother operation and pay only $55 a month for high-speed internet service for all our streaming needs. By the way the basic utilities here in Arizona are all cheaper than in Ohio. Electricity is cheaper and so is water! Figure that one out! Toledo Edison is the biggest thief in the country!
Just received yet another notice that my internet bill would be going up another 10.00 per month starting in May- yet magically I have the same terrible service I have had since it was 40/month cheaper when I first signed up. This company is an absolute joke. Internet service is sketchy at best. Customer service is HORRIFIC. Sadly I would expect nothing less from a company based in Toledo- garbage city with a garbage cable provider.
DO NOT choose Buckeye for your wireless services. We were with Buckeye for 11 months and our bill has increased each month. When we initially set up our service we were told our rate would be 39.99 each month. We were NEVER told this was a promotional rate. After buying the router to decrease our monthly cost, our monthly bill continued to somehow increase. We were then told each month that we were going over our data, but in those months we were often out of town and both working longer schedules...therefore we were hardly home or watching tv. Now after being told we went over our data 3 TIMES on our most recent bill we have finally had enough.
I had a bad experience with this store and Buckeye Broadband. I used to be with 2 years but with the high prices I now have switched to AT&T. Also, they have cookies in their system used to transmit information to the judge.
Customer service is terrible if you have any issues. I have been without internet for 6 hours now and I waited on the phone for hours ALL WHILE waiting for a live agent to help me online using my phone data!!! Online is supposed to be faster, it said 21 minute wait and I waited 45 minutes TWICE and got nobody! Im still without internet and I even emailed them! Absolutely horrible

VAPORS Is DONE With Buckeye. We have several of our locations with Buckeye. And several with AT&T and Spectrum. 99% of all our problems come from Buckeye. No More. Internet down, cant ring up customers etc. Call in to support and the wait time was 48min. Pure BS. No More. !!
I selected one star, only because there are no options for ZERO stars. I purchased a $150 Hitron modem outer from the Buckeye Perrysburg retail store, prior to having my cable service installed and activated. Supposedly their top line Hitron CGNVM model. After I finally got the cable installed, we found that the operation and internet services was extremely intermittent. I attempted to take the modem back to the retail store where I purchased it, but they refused to exchange it or refund the purchase price. After numerous emails to their technical department and a visit from a technician who balanced the lines, they determined that the modem was most likely at fault, and since it was now beyond 30 days (because it took that long to get a technician out, they could not do anything about the modem and told me to contact the manufacturer. I have sent numerous emails to Hitron via their web site and they refuse to respond or confirm that I even contacted them. We have since replaced the Hitron modem we purchased from Buckeye Broadband with a 3rd party Zoom modem. Now, everything is working flawlessly. I dont plan to be stuck with a $150 piece of junk, and since Buckeye refuses to do anything or stand behind the products they sell, I have initiated a charge-back through my credit card company. If Buckeye doesnt want to handle returns or exchanges of defective products, maybe they should get out of the business of selling products.
BUYERS BEWARE! I live alone and am a full-time student. I only use my wifi for homework and 1-3 hours of netflix/hulu a day. My bill was around $45/month for the first 6 months. HOWEVER, these past 4 months bills have been insane! They were $105, $130, $140, and $145. I finally said its time to switch. Their prices are ridiculous after their 6-month promotion offer. Really wish I wouldve chose a different provider from the very beginning!
Had them come out to fix my internet. I now have no internet and an 145 minute hold time. The hold time tells me they have some serious problems. They used to have people pick up the phone within 5 minutes, the last time I called in (to get the internet fixed) it was a 30 min hold. This is just ridiculous. This is the type of service you get with a monopoly.

I called on the phone and was told I got service where I was moving to gave them the full address. I went into the store and was told they do not have service for my new address. Honestly I dont get it. I wasted gas and time even coming here.
