Anthony and his team at Macke Roofing responded first when my wife and I sent 4 or 5 local online inquiries about our roof replacement. We were overall impressed with the price, the 50 year shingle, the promptness in completing the job, and ultimately the customer service. The owner himself continually updated us via email informing us through the whole process. The contractors were professional and did a great job of leaving our yard clean of debris. Last June just before the July 4 long weekend, we had a very hard thunderstorm. Looked up at my kitchen ceiling and there was a water spot- thats a terrible feeling. Called Macke and a guy came out and said he could fix it but it might make more sense to have a new roof since the old one was pretty old, and it made sense and I agreed. They did come right away after the long weekend, and installed the new roof in a day. Looked good, everything seemed fine. However, a week ago (about May 3), we again had very heavy t-storm. New roof leaked in the same place! Called Anthony and he sent a crew over. The leader did not have a 2-story ladder. I let him use mine. I suppose they fixed it, heard them up there. I was somewhat disappointed that when they were done they just put my ladder back and left, didnt explain what they did or anything. Time will tell whether the leak is really gone, but I dont have high confidence.Update:. The fix had worked for a few years now.

Had our roof done in Perrysburg township (Oakmont neighborhood), in May of 2019. Macke was unbelievable, from start to finish. We were really impressed with their communication leading up to the job. Very professional and courteous, with an eye on what we needed done (and when).The day of the job, the crew arrived primed and ready to go. They worked incredibly hard to get the entire job done in a timely fashion. (Six hours!) Attention to every detail including protecting the house, safety first, and cleaning up after the work. All the crew was very professional and polite. Stephen was a *great* foreman. We always felt there was someone in charge, who could also answer questions.The job itself was done as requested and really, really well. Roof, flashings, ridge vents, etc. Price was right too!Cant say enough good things about about Macke.
