We absolutely loved it, cooked a bunch of our meals in the kitchen, and walked down to surf nearly every day. Richard was really helpful in making our trip easy and quick to respond. I applied for a property with this company, which cost $70 for two people. We called consistently to check on our application for the property and literally never got a straight answer. We actually would have been fine with them explicitly saying, sorry, we chose another application versus stringing us along. On one phone call I had with the front desk person, I asked if we will be updated about our application once there was a decision, and her answer was I dont know. Very unprofessional behavior and I suspect they leave their houses on the market and allow people to apply well after they have filled the properties as a money making scam. If I were you, I would avoid this company all together.

Rented a one-bedroom condo at Las Gavaitos in Rosarito Beach for my anniversary and what a great choice it was. The stunning view from the balcony along with the size of the condo as well. A friend and I stayed in one of the rentals in las gaviotas baja! The apartment was PRISTINE! Great view from our balcony, cozy vibe, and a stones throw away from the community’s private beach with a great surf break. Property manager was quick to respond and wonderful to work with. My husband and I stayed in Las Gaviotas over the weekend and we absolutely loved it! The condo was extremely clean, it had a beautiful view, and we really liked the fact that it was in a gated community.It was very close to Puerto Nuevo, down town Rosarito, and only about an hour north of Ensenada.The private beach was a short walk from our condo and it was beautiful.We cant wait to go back!As for the property management; they are awesome. Rick contacted me immediately upon booking and gave me his cell phone along with his email in case we needed anything. He made sure he got all the information to me before our arrival and even texted me to let me know when we were getting our deposit back.

We stayed in the Las Gaviotas Rosarito property and we had such a good time we booked an extra night while we were there! The property was clean and modern with a million dollar view of the ocean. Very short drive and Puerto Nuevo, great lobster and seafood for even better prices! Rick provided us great customer service he would respond very quickly to any questions I had. When I wanted to add an extra night he responded within 5 minutes and it was a quick easy process. We definitely will rent this property again during our next trip!

This review is for Rick’s property, 93 Los Pelicanos (B) in Las Gaviotas. My husband and I have been to Las Gaviotas several times and in the past have only been able to find a one bedroom rental that is a converted garage with no ocean view. This is BY FAR the best 1 bedroom place to stay in Gaviotas! It was perfect, great size, super clean, easy check-in, amazing ocean view and deck with comfy lounge chairs and patio table! Bathroom was very clean and had extra towels as well. Super close to the beach access. You will not find a better 1 bedroom house to stay at in Gaviotas. Rick was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, his level of service made it a smooth check-in and check out which was so great. We will for sure be renting again!

We stayed at one of Ricks properties down in Las Gaviotas, near Rosarito. Rick was very responsive to our last minute requests. The place was clean, had all the necessary amenities, and a nice ocean view from the balcony off of the living room. A quaint little 2ba/1ba unit. Very safe and serene location.

Great place & hostGreat place for a weekend in Baja. The community of the home was fantastic. The apartment and the deck with an ocean view couldnt have been better. Easy check-in too. There is road noise because the property sits at the back of the community, on top of the hill, up against the highway. Expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Baja from the deck really make this place special. Everything you could need for a weekend getaway was there, and Rick, the host is quickly responsive which made the stay even easier.Salt and pepper and a BBQ are provided, you just need to bring the rest.Great stay.

The beach is beautiful! The community is so mellow and nice. There’s a grocery store a 5 min drive away and yeah. Literally just go to the stores stock up and chill in this paradise. The waves are fun the waters warm and the hosts are supportive and available .

A little context- I inherited a rental property from my father, and at the time he had a nightmare of a tenant. She refused to pay rent, and absolutely destroyed the property. When I say destroyed, I am talking over 10k in damages. Every single door was broken as was every single window. The kitchen was trashed, the bathrooms were torn up and had mold issues. She also left her three huskies on the property when she moved out. It was a huge job, but he had his right-hand man Luis lead the project. First, let me say both Rick and Luis are top notch guys. I found them to be very communicative- updating me every step of the way. They took photos, and explained everything that needed to be done, which was a lot. I appreciated the fact that Luis was always very cognizant that this was an expensive project, and kept his eye on the cost, while also focusing on the quality. He also helped me rehome those poor huskies that were abandoned (talk about going above and beyond). He gave great advice, and we definitely built trust with one another.The rehab of this property took about 6 weeks, and I could not be more pleased with the results. The property was restored to something my father would have been very proud of, which means so much to me.We now have hired the team at Express Realty to manage the property. They collect the rent and deal with any issues that arise. One bedroom condo in Los Gaviotas. Location was okay but close to main road so bedroom window had to remain shut. Ceiling fan was very welcome but the lighting fixture in bedroom was so dull we could not see. Were thankful for bedside table lamp. Bathroom light fixture switch broken upon arrival but fixed on the next day. Early check in was nice. No ice cube trays in freezer - had to buy a bag of ice (super basic little store across busy freeway). TV worked fine. Kitchen with basics only. If you plan to cook keep simple and need to bring everything - had salt/pepper only. No oil, random spices, sugar, etc. Two restaurants across street both very good and pizza place down road good and eclectic. Will return but maybe not that same condo. We felt safe.

I was renting a home from Rick for a Rosarito Beach Rental and even before arriving for our stay, Rick was already very helpful with our requests. We requested to check in early to our home at 9am opposed to 5pm and were informed that minor maintenance was being done to the house but would be postponed till after our trip was over. These changes would not affect our stay and Rick was more than happy to meet our request with no extra fees being added to our stay. Rick was very understanding and made it his priority to make our stay more enjoyable.

We loved it! House was very clean and had amazing views!

The nice cleaning lady was unaware of our reservation so the unit was cleaned when we arrived (which we arrived early so it worked out!) This condo was perfect for our mid week getaway, just a short walk down to the beach/ pool, cute kitchen, living room and bedroom areas. The view from our patio was beautiful. We will definitely be returning to stay here again!
