I cannot say enough great things about Chrissy, she is so communicative and attentive, she knows how to help you by just watching your movements. She had great tips for avoiding my hip pain during exercises, while still getting results. She is knowledgable about so many things pertaining to the body, not just movement, but balance & vision too! My son had horrible headaches after the online school days and she gave us some vision training we could do at home that helped immensely. She is truly amazing! I highly recommend her.

If you are wanting to get in shape this is definitely the place to go.Ive known Chrissy for a few years and I know a few things in that she is highly dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate in helping people with their most valuable possession (their bodies). Chrissy is absolutely amazing! She is knowledgeable, professional and helps you set realistic fitness goals! I have had other trainers and they just want to kill you, not Chrissy. Chrissy wants to teach you to be healthy and fit and see results, while making it fun. I loved that she has an ultrasound machine that actually measures your muscle and fat. It was nice to see the make up of my body!

Chrissy is amazing! I brought my daughter to her to help with her chronic knee pain. The excessive jumping from playing volleyball left her icing, wearing knee support, and using anti-inflamatories to help alleviate the pain. Chrissy assessed her and developed a personalized program that would build the muscles and ligaments supporting her knees. Additionally, Chrissy provided exercises for her to do at home. Now, two years later, my daughter continues to work out with Chrissy, not because of knee pain though! She enjoys her favorite sport pain-free, thanks to Chrissy! My daughter continues to work out with her because she loves it! Now that her knees are strengthened, she has progressed to a weight and agility training program to further improve her athletic ability. Chrissy is passionate about knowing her clients and developing an individualized program. Additionally, her positive approach is motivating and fun!

I’m a 54 year old male who was 125 pounds overweight with a life-long history of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar disk issues including sciatica, along with chronic back pain. Since starting 1:1 training with Chrissy, I’m down 45 pounds, feel stronger then I have in many years, and have increased energy. Chrissy is great with knowing how to make adjustments during our training sessions to work all muscle groups while keeping my heart rate up without inflicting more pain or damage to my back. When I don’t have the confidence in myself, Chrissy is there to encourage me, show me I can do this, and help me believe in myself. I know with Chrissy’s guidance the remaining 80 pounds to drop are within reach.

Both my husband and I work with Chrissy 3 days a week. We love the classes and the location. We work hard but also have fun. Chrissy works with the whole group and modifies the workouts as needed for each persons abilities. She also helps with any injuries that need strengthening. We recommend everyone to try this once and you will get hooked.

Her routines and education combine the tried and true, with cutting edge developments that sound too good to be true until you experience them yourself.I am 51, and have been involved in various sports since almost birth, and working out since I was 13. I was also a personal trainer myself in college and have been a lifelong devotee of health and fitness. I recently developed a lower back issue from playing a little too hard, and went to see Chrissy because I had heard a few unbelievable stories about how she was using a new technique called movement re-education. The movement re-education technique had helped a friend with a shoulder problem and I was curious to see if it could help with my back. I had the same results as my friend…..Noticeable improvement in ONE session!The more amazing part of that session might be that I noticed a marked increase in my flexibility......With no focus or intent to improve it! It just happened! Have Chrissy explain the brain science behind it, but also know that it just works.Chrissy at Positively Fitt is so amazing I would vote for her for President of the United States (Except this year that isn’t saying much)!

I have been coming to see Chrissy for about a year now and I am absolutely loving it! I started with the personal training and now do the group tabata classes. My favorite thing I love about Chrissy is that she never stresses a quick fix or diet plan she really focuses on a complete life style change! I used to have no energy throughout the day and would just lounge around on the couch, now I actually look forward to the workouts! I have lost around 50LBs with Chrissy and have been able to keep it off! She is motivating and provides you with the tools you need to successfully change your life!

I have been going to this small group fitness club since 2013. I knew it was special upon completing my first class. I am still here 3 times a week, loving the results!I had stopped running and it was time for me to try something new. The big box gym scene wasnt for me( I tried, believe me, I tried) and taking fitness classes wasnt something I had done, ever. This was a huge step for me. I explained all this to Chrissy and she assured me that this was going to be worth my time and my money. Chrissy is an amazing trainer and I am lucky to have found her! All classes are available to try at no cost, small class size and a touch of personal training! Sign me up!Here I am in the best shape of my life, well the best shape of my adult life. I dont count Highschool. That was before responsibilities. ha!This is a place were you are made to feel welcome, go at your own pace and get the modifications of a personal trainer to get the most out of your small group workout and more importantly your time. Oh! I almost forgot, her fitness classes are for EVERYBODY! Remember I had never taken a group fitness class in my life, everyone made me feel welcome and absolutely no pressure or expectations. Chrissy offers a full body comp to give you an idea of where your fitness level is at and then will do a follow up to compare numbers. You are able to see your progress in numbers and stats not just in the mirror. Which, if you ask me is usually a liar! The mirror is a liar. You are beautiful! This part of your training is so helpful in knowing what you can do to reach your personal goals.There is no pressure to sign up or commit to anything that you arent interested in. Absolutely no long term contracts! Whoop woop!

I have worked with Chrissy Shaver & Positively Fitt for 6 months & have lost over 30 lbs. The reason I chose Chrissy over other trainers is that she has the understanding of how each of us train differently. Many private trainers are one size fits all for their training routines and are ok with 3 days of pain after a workout. Chrissy was able to personalize the process to fit my needs. I never left a training session unable to walk or move body parts. At the same time I always felt that the muscles were awake & alive. Chrissy understands the fundamentals of training and is always learning her trade. She is a true professional and well thought out. If you are looking for a trainer Positively Fitt is the way to go.

At the age of 53 and out of shape I decided to enter the 12 hours of Fury mountain bike race. After riding the first pre ride lap at 2 hrs 38 mins. I realized I needed help, lots of it. I had heard that Chrissy was good so I signed up to see what she could do for me. Chrissy put together a nutritional and training program for me that was challenging but not too crazy. I was able to lose 16 lbs and cut my lap time to 1 hr 34 mins in the race.Now that I am 54 I did it again. I signed up for the fun ride 15 at the Whiskey off road mountain bike race. Later I found out later that the fun 15 is actually 20 miles, the first 10 miles are up hill and there is over 2500 feet of climbing. . . Sooooo here we go again. Chrissy has put together another program for me that covers my nutrition and should help with the climbing [not my strong suit].. I am into the second week of 8 and already feel the difference.The best part is that I never really gained any weight back and I am much more comfortable and faster on the trails. The part I was not expecting is that my sales have gone up in my business. I now am in the office earlier and am able to help even more clients. I strongly suggest you at least talk to Chrissy about your goals. I bet she can help you get there.Dan.
