Depends on who you get last month I got hung up on when I stated I wanted to verify the debt. This month Michael was very helpful and gave me the account number to help when I called. Wish they had an online payment so I didnt have to listen to their spiel again:)
Some joker called me about $200 dollars I owed had never received any mail and when I told him I wouldnt pay over the phone got an attitude. Just got another call and havent received mail again.. who is running this garbage company? The most unprofessional people Ive ever talked to.

This place doesnt even deserve one star! I have been dealing with them for almost 3 years and it has been horrible. I recently received notice of a bill for a certain amount which was more than what I owed even. I sent a payment to the main branch in Dec of 2018. Who NEVER took it off the balance but the check was cashed. I sent Eagle recovery a certified copy of this CASHED check. Long story short, they also took money from my account without my permission and I have called my lawyer today. This place WILL NEVER get another penny from me. I reported them to the Consumer Federal Protection Bureau. The CFPB informed me that Eagle is expected to respond to them and me in a certain amount of time, and they have not to either one of us.
I received a call from this company my robokiller call bot picked it up you can hear this poor excuse for a customer service rep swearing in the background, demanding I call her back and threatening me . The recording is being turned over to an attorney and I will be suing them for harassment and threatening.
These people will share all your personal info, up to and including social security number without any confirmation of identity
They understand there is a human on the line in a very precarious human situation. A truly professional and good company. Other agencies should take notice.

I received a call about a week ago and I had advised them I would contact them back once I was able to make the payment. Which would be soon. So I did receive another call yesterday and I called back today and I asked them their name And if I could make the payment directly through unity point health which then they advised me that the unity point health would directed me back to them and that they would still go about their collection process if I didn’t make a payment with them today. So I called unity Point health And made the payment in full for my sons doctor bill directly to them with no issues. So this company blatantly lied to me. The last person I spoke to was very rude but the first gentleman was extremely pleasant.
Id give them a zero if I could. They are liars and thieves. We thought we were making weekly payments to them and was told that accounts were paid off until my card number changed. All of a sudden, they no longer accepted our payments, wanted more money, and wanted money to process the payments! Now, Im going to court over the accounts and they will not cooperate with me to get records. How is it fair that they can steal my money like that and not have to hand it over to the company to which hired them is beyond me. If you want to work with a great collection agency, choose HR accounts. Theyre pleasant and easy to work with.
The original agent I dealt with seemed helpful. I made a large down payment and agreed to pay $50 a month till I got my tax return. They tried to with draw the full balance early without my permission then called me complaining when it didn’t clear. I explained the original agreement again and made a $50 payment for that month. The supervisor got on the phone and stopped the payment and said they would not take anything but a full payment. She put the manager on the phone who insulted, threatened and talked over me. He gave me 24 hrs to pay in full and said the hospital would not take a payment. That was a lie. I called the hospital and they took my full payment (as I got my return 4 days later). Never trust them and never let them take auto payments!
They called and asked my name. When I asked whom I was speaking the woman on the other line repeated my name and I repeated asking her to whom am I speaking to? She got upset and told me to have a nice day. I hit redial to find it was a collection agency. All I can say is if this is how they conduct on collecting for a company they need to learn customer service skills and how to speak with others. I also went over reviews for this company and sorry to say they reviews are horrible just like their customer service.

I have been going rounds with this company for months. They have yet to change information on file that is wrong, rude, and inconsiderate. They want me to pay a bill that I have yet to recieve in the mail and and pushy to get it paid over the phone with a credit card. They guess they can give the information for me to send it as a check. I do not pay bills with out a paper copy for my own personal file. I have spoke with many people from this company and only ONE was helpful and nice. Wish we could rate negative numbers because thats what they would get.
HORRIBLE i dont even know how they are still in business. the last time i spoke with somebody a female didnt say why she was calling after i told her who i was all she said you must get a lot of bill collectors calling you after speaking to her supervisor she was 10x as worse as the collector. I felt as if they were using intimidation which is against the FDCPA by the way. needless to say they havent contacted me again AFTER i threatened to sue because of how i was treated.

EAGLE RECOVERY ASSOCIATES INC., HAS THE RUDEST EMPLOYEES AND TERRIBLE BUSINESS ACUMEN.This collection company Eagle Recovery has incredibly rude employees and harassed my employee when they called to reach a person that has never worked at our business. My employee tried to explain that the person in question doesn’t work here and she had never heard the name. As the recovery agent repeatedly harassed her about the whereabouts of this person, my employee tried a third time to explain she didn’t work here the Eagle Recovery agent just hung up instead of saying thanks for your time of apologizing for the interruption.I called back to speak with a manager about the encounter and the employee that answered the phone was also rude to me and didn’t want to transfer me when I asked for a manager, with a little argument with her and asking 3 times I had to promise that I was going to leave my experience as a review if the manager couldn’t find the time to discuss this issue with me. As expected from a company that operates the way this company does they put me on hold and never returned.Remember when hiring this company to collect your debt they are still a representation of your company, with this type of rude attitude that will represent your company for future business.Lance
Unprofessional. Called me and asked for my name. I never say yes unless I know what anyone is calling for due to all the scams that go around.I asked who was calling. He kept telling me this is a business matter. And thats all he was saying.Wouldnt tell me his name his company or what he was really calling for.He ended up scoffing at me and exclaiming woooooow reallyyyyyI ended up hanging up and calling the number back just to identify who in the hell was calling me acting like a 12 year old.I am more then willing to work with getting my debts paid but act like a adult.Absolutely ridiculous.
They threaten and intimidate people. And they also dont coordinate between their offices. One represetative will tell you one thing while your case worker tells you another. And then somehow its your fault when your payments dont reach them in time. And when you talk to these people theres always that underlying disdainful threatening language. Go to hell.

Record all contact with this unprofessional company. Untrained staff violate laws regularly and you get $1000 every time they call if you file a report.

Rude, wanted to know personal information when I have just had my identity stolen 2 weeks ago. Not to mention called my work to speak to me and when I asked if I could call her back when Im off the clock she said they would be closed. BTW its new years eve.
