Rob is ninety-nine percent of the time available to help getting your car in, service, and out. Ive been going to stechers for a long time and thats because I feel that their work is dependable. However they are in need of more accredited service people.

Rob was so unprofessional & rude on the phone, we wont be giving this business a chance. Daryl was very nice but Rob needs training on customer service.

I definitely recommend these guys; theyre super helpful and patient. They towed my car and diagnosed it for a decent price, and did not pressure me into making a decision.

Excellent communication and I think the service is pretty good but they definitely over charge you on parts. They charged me $50 to refill the antifreeze in my car which is ridiculous. Im just glad that they got my radiator fixed and working again

Fantastic shop. Rob at the shop is fantastic. They do amazing work that they stand by. They are very accommodating and work well around your schedule with what you have going on. Dont listen to anyone who complains about the price. Sure, you want to pay $20 less, take your car to Sears and let them ruin it. Stechers guys do great work and its worth that little extra to know my wheel isnt going to fly off at 70 miles per hour, or that my transmissions going to drop out in the middle of a long trip I had to make. As long as me and my wife are in Peoria we will continue to take our vehicles to Stechers Shop when we need work done.

Great place that will do a quality job of fixing you up. It may end up costing s bit more than another place, but you will be sure to get good service done. I will definitely be coming back here if I experience any more problems with my vehicle while staying in the area.The owner, Rob, is a great guy and hell be able to tell you whats going on in a way that you can understand and give you all the smart options you have moving forward.

Great, family-owned business (4th generation!). Genuine care for customers that is rare these days. I came in as a walk-in the day before Thanksgiving, and they were very accommodating. Were able to help me out the same day and only charged $15. Couldnt thank them enough!From Main, turn into the alley (there is a painted arrow). The office is in the door with the key drop (next to the large garage door).

Got stuck in Peoria in freezing cold weather. They towed my car to their shop and had it done within two hours. Honest and friendly. He tells you exactly what was wrong with your vehicle and what they did to fix it. Prices are reasonable to their services. Would definitely recommend coming here!

Ive taken my car to Stechers for both routine maintenance and unexpected issues over the last four years. They are prompt, polite, and helpful. They have explained everything completely, told me about any options I might have, and never tried to upsell me. They do good quality work and have always fixed whatever problem I was having the first time they tried. I highly recommend them.

Great guys. Battery died before work and they let me borrow their portable charger - tried giving the guy cash for letting me borrow it and he said no way, bring your car to me when it needs fixed.

Very nice people, however they do mark up their parts very high. They charge $12 a quart of DEX 6 transmission fluid.

Charged my wife $130 to change her fuse... lied to her and said the computer takes 45 minutes to read the codes which not true. Absolutely ridiculous . $130 to change the fuse I wish I wasn’t out of town when this happened.

My dad trusted the Stechers with his cars and so do I.

They may be a little bit more expensive but you get honest, competent work that you can trust.
